Ruby St.Claire Ruby turned to both Blitz and Streak, "You don't understand, I'd rather die than have some gussed up hero try to save me, instead of himself, or the folks that need help. I don't wanna be saved anymore, damnit, I want to save myself." Ruby pushed passed them and walked up to Hells, an angry look in her eyes, as she was about to take out her anger on the stranger. She hooked her foot in his stool, yanked it hard, to pull it out from underneath him. "The folks that worked here are baked in that pot pie, an' if you don't learn to keep your manners, you're gonna go straight into our dessert." The baseball bat slammed down, holding Hells up as he straightened himself, looming over Ruby. "For an employee here, I don't think you quite understand the process of a patron." Hells reached into his pocket, pulling out a twenty, and shoving it into her cheast, right between the breasts. "This is a bar. I give you money, you give me beer. Simple enough, kid?"

Ruby's eyes flared, she grabbed hold of his hand and twisted it. "As an employee of this fine establishment I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason. 'sides, you should keep your damn paper for asswipe, considerin' that's all it's worth now anyway."
She ignored Bobby's last comment, only hearing it breifly. It was a silly thing to say, although true in some ways. She didn't want to get hurt. And for once she wanted to do things herself.

Hells slowly pulled his arm back, breaking her grasp easily.
"Well, and here I am remembering you saying something about the employees being in a pie." Hells pulled a ciggerette out of his pocket, lighting up and taking a deep pull. "Well, if the money ain't worth a s**t, then bring me an ale on the house. I'm guessing you'd prefer that to me getting it myself." Hells blew the smoke in her face, taking another seat.

Ruby choked on a mouthfull of smoke, immediatley turning her several shades whiter from the toxins. She grabbed onto the counter, digging her nails into the wood, her face a cold mask. "You wanna ale?" her eyes narrowed, and then relaxed, "sure thing."
Ruby went to the kitchen and then came back with a mug of ale, she traced the opening ring with her finger, and placed it with a loud plonk on the table. "On the house, sug." something sinister ran behind her eyes as she spoke.

Hells nodded, sliding a five dollar bill across the bar anyways. Hells reached into his pocket, producing a hard-plastic straw that he put in the mug, taking a long sip.
"Your bar don't look to clean. Bloodied people lying around, I don't think I'll take my chances."

"Not that I can;t" He replies shortly, letting out another puff as he leaned his bat against the bar.
