No regrets as far as my personal actions in the conflict are concerned, anyway- I still regret that we were never able to see eye to eye, but at least I know that I did everything that I could have possibly done to avoid it.

It's well worth the risk of looking a little uncool at the moment, to avoid a lifetime of wondering "What if I had...?" or "If only I had just..."

If there is something, or someone, important at risk I will do anything I can think of which might improve the situation even slightly in order to avoid those awful questions.

I try to live by that- it was hard-won advice, and I've unfortunately had more than enough experiences to develop it and try it out.^_^

I stopped by the grocery store on the way home today- we have a Whole Foods in the city and it's just wonderful! Everything in that store is organic, cruelty-free, or environmentally and socially responsible in some way.^_^

The first time I went inside I was absolutely floored. This is no corner market store- it's a full-blown all-out grocery store. Complete with sushi bar and a florist!^_^
