((Going to be a bit difficult to go thru the first day of classes when I'm the only teacher so far.. I could play two but that's still only 2 out of what? 13?))

((I'm gonna open with conversation between my two characters while you guys are in Charms or w/e and then you can head to Potions with Prof. Gondificant in the dungeon.))
Professor Goldbrow moved down the halls that morning with a smile on his face, glad that it was once again the first day of classes. His ever-cheerful mood began to sour immediately as he encountered his nemesis within the faculty in the hallways leading from the dungeon.
"Phineas," the professor greeted with obvious disdain in his voice.
"Goldbrow... Not stumbling drunk yet? I'm surprised, it's late for you to not be intoxicated."
"No less surprising than the fact that you haven't found that thing that everyone else has... bloody hell, what is it called again... Oh right! A conscience."
"Coy as ever, eh? I pray Headmaster Lemora will have the common sense to throw you out this year. Treating every commoner in here like they were prodigies," he nearly spat with that last remark, "I'm shocked you were even permitted another year."
"Get to your bloody class already, you belligerent brigand."
With that, they both stormed off in opposite directions.

Gabi woke up expecting to find a little letter from her friend next to her bed. When she turned to grab for it, there was none. A little pout sprawled across her lips, as she jumped out of bed. All the Huffle girls were giggling and playing with each others hair. Quickly, she joined the gaiety forgetting a little about her two friends. Running her hands through her own hair she made two braids and her friends thought that they were adorable. She giggled and hugged them all before going down the short walk to the Main Hall. Sitting them all down they chatted about the classes that were yet to come.

Olivia was sitting in the Great Hall, finishing the last bit of summer reading. It was a little bit before breakfast time, and she'd gotten there early before the huge crowds came.
James was in bed, staring at the ceiling. He wondered what should do with Tom, but wasn't really thinking. He had kissed her, twice, were they going to be able to go back?
Of course, one of his roommates shook him. "Hey, time for breakfast."

Gabi once everyone had started eating began to wonder about her friends again. She sighed and pushed around the food on her plate. Then a friend of hers gave her a little bump.
"What's that sad look on your face for?" Nadia asked.
"Hum?" Gabi said then tried to smile, "Oh its nothing Nadia. Just thinking."
"Ooo,' Nadia raised in eyebrow, "You thinking about someone special?"
"Actually yeah..." Gabi said smiling, "Two people actually."
Nadia and the other Hufflepuffs started talking and giggling with Gabi about who this person was. She wouldn't tell but they giggled and talked about the cute people in the school including one another.

Abigail woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready for her first day of school. She and a couple of her friends went down to breakfast together. They ate and laughed and talked about the upcoming school year, ready for it to begin.

Derek was standing by the table, trying to figure out where to sit. There was a seat near Gabi, someone he kinda knew, but there weren't any other guys sitting there... would it be okay if he sat down?

Feeling a presence near her Gabi looked up. It was Derek, a boy she had talked to many times but always seemed to be shy around her so they never were really close. "Good morning Derek!" She said with a giggle, "Why don't you take a seat by me if you want." Her smile was pleasant, not scary and she patted the place next to her softly.

Jasper sat quietly at the end of the slytheran table closets’ to the door. He pushed a spoon full of egg around his plate and sipped on a glass of orange juice. He was not a very heavy eater but that was not surprising if you looked at his tall slim figure. Is longish dark hair was brushed and he looked polished and clean, if only a little tired.

Olivia saw Jasper, and got up. She closed her book, then went over to him. "Hey," she said, taking a seat across from him.

Giving him a good nature pat on the back Gabi asked, "How was your summer?" The other girls were a tittering because he made some if not most of everyone's lists.
