Wotan Manasal Meiling the Mighty No, I didn't say they were drugs. But they both have the goal of invoking a fake sense of pleasure. The world we perceive through them might be fake; the pleasure is definitely not. Meiling the Mighty As for the community, what I mean is that each individual's dream is just that; Their dream, no one else's. People can't interact with each other through them like we are now, having a disscussion. Yea. However, if you dream about the people that you talk in real life (or internet), you won't even notice the difference. Meiling the Mighty The day we have brain-linked games and internet, we'll have all this. But no one seems to be putting much effort into those areas of research, so I doubt it'll happen in our lifetime, if ever. Because life is cruel like that. Well, dreaming is free. If you can call that pleasure, sure. But you can't meet new people like that, and the existing ones can't think for themselves. Dreams are nice. But anyone who considers that to be an adequate substitute for what reality can't offer has low standards.

Hiziri Byakuren I will choke you on your sleep. Kinky! But only if I get to tape it with you on top. Chiyuri Kitashirakawa StB is great and more people need to play it. Same with DS. This opinion is too minor to be considered factual! Also StB feels harder than UFO lunatic stare

Substitute is the key word here. Oh right, just like how the slightly dark grey "steel" color is totally an adequate substitute for black in Halo. Anyway, a big debate like this doesn't really belong in the introduction thread, so we should probably just stop here. How does this guild always get so wierdly off-topic?

Meiling the Mighty How does this guild always get so wierdly off-topic? You can blame RP'ers for that. I personally don't mind.

Meiling the Mighty How does this guild always get so wierdly off-topic? Simple really, we're all easily sidetracked for the most part. Well, that's what I think at least.
