On Halloween I saw a random girl at my school wearing Christine's Point of No Return dress (which I am IN LOVE with) and I ran up to her in the hallway and was like 'OMG! Phantom of the Opera! Phantom of the Opera! I love you!!! AHHH!'
luckily she was a real phan as was like 'OMG! thanks for actually KNOWING'. It would have been very bad had I been wrong
Also...my dad and sister always make fun of me...because it is practically the only thing I listen to, sing in the shower, and play on the piano.
Also...once on the way back from a field trip, my bff and I started singing 'Down Once More' as fast as we could...as well as other songs...until someone had to tell us to shut up.

I've done two dumb but funny POTO things:
First, I started absent-mindedly singing Phantom songs in the shower...and my dad heard me from in the living room. redface
Second, I had to draw a picture for my psychology class a few weeks ago and I, being a very crappy artist, decided to trace a printed out phanart pic from the web and modify it to fit my needs. One of the main steps of making me out of Erik was boobs. My pic turned out ok, until I looked at the phanart. Appearently I pushed down too hard on both papers and accidentally left faint indented boob lines on Erik's chest. I showed my friends and they burst out laughing.

My friend started acting like Carlotta for the fun of it and after awhile I got annoyed and pretended I was Erik and that I slipped a punjab lasso around her neck. We got a few odd stares but it was fun! biggrin

Once my friends and I were trying to get the obscenely high part in 'Think of Me', when we realized that many people in our choir were looking at us awkwardly since we didnt have any parts like that. We felt funny at first, but then we just kept on singing and forcing our chior teacher to play it for us so we could show her how amazing it is. Now were going to be performing POTO songs for our spring concert! 3nodding

When I was in music I went to this really small room that you can shut yourself away from the other class. I found out that is wasn't sound proof.
Me: Angel oh speak! What endless longings!
My friend: *walks in* Hey did you know that this room isn't sound proof?
Me: O__O (I had sung for over a week in it before I found out and I still do sing in it)

My mom almost caught in my room lipsinking to the movie soundtrack, with dim lighting, music on full blast, in a dark cloak, and of course the mask. I got the mask off just in time but she saw everything else.

Alright, the first time I saw the movie I LOVED IT! That whole weekend I was singing think of me, and past the point of no return to myself... Anyways, once I was back in school we had a big exam, and I was singing the lyrics.. Everyone was staring at me redface It was scary at first then after that, everyone just went back to their tests. After that core, it was last week's news...

XD Bwaha!My brother likes to dance when i play the Masquerade song!Its cute really! At school i was the only one outside besides this girl who was talking to this other girl,And my crush just got done with Play practice,so i was sitting down on the bench outside waiting for my Mommy,(I guess he heard me)and he goes "INSOLENT BOY THIS SLAVE OF FASION,BASKING IN YOUR GLORY!!!!ect." And im all...sitting on the bench,blushing madly,my back toward him i started "Angel i hear you Speak,I listen,ect." And we just kept singing untill my mommy came.We skipped masquerade and the graveyard song...And we were actually doing the movements like when Erik takes Christine by the hand to lead her down,He took my hand and walked me around the parking lot,And When we were singing Past the point of No Return...HOMIGAWD! I LOOOVEEEE Him sooo much...Just as much as Erik.And the most embarrasing thing is the drama teacher/play director came outside to hand him his jacket that he forgot aand heard the whole thing and she goes "Isn't there supposed to be a kiss somewhere in there?" 4laugh heart It would have been awsome if he did kiss me though...
Oh,And at home i always sing in the shower. sweatdrop and everywhere else,and when i cant sleep i turn on my CD player to The Music of the Night. 3nodding heart

Well, today I was bowling with my family and sucking wind... majorly. Anyways I started singing PotO as I went up for my bowl... er.. yeah and got to strikes in a row <3... then I started to suck again but hey it was cool.

Okay, so I work in a movie theater, and I was behind the concessions are on the last register, all by myself, so I started singing (a song from Rent - Light My Candle. hope its okay that this isn't Phantom related, but its so funny) while I put up cups and popcorn bags. One of the guys working there walked over to where I was. I didn't notice...until he started singing. We kept singing the whole time he was over there. Apparently, one of the girls on the other side had been singing it too, and he had been singing with her until he walked on my side, where I was singing it, so he kept singing, back and forth.

Hmm, let's see ... oh, one time (when I was still fairly new to phantom) I was sitting in my room thinking about it. When I get an idea in my head to make a PotO half mask .. out of paper XD (this was before I had a mask, obviously, lol) so I make this crudely made, paper mask and put tape on it, then stuck it to my face. It fit pretty well (since I smacked my head down on the paper to measure my face specifications) But anyways, I put on my mask and dashed to my closet to get my cloak. Then from under my bed, I pull out my electronic keyboard and set it to 'pipeorgan' and away I go. Sitting on my floor with paper mask and cloak, all hunched over and pressing down on the low keys dramatically (attempting to play the title song) when out of nowhere, my step-sister decides to pop in and I turn around slowly and she's all o_o; >> then she starts to laugh hysterically (forgetting what she wanted to tell me and goes off, later for my mom to pop in) and in a deep voice, I'm like "How dare you disturb my music!!" and my mom's standing there, thinkin' I'm crazy, but I just laugh and turn the piano up louder, so the whole house could hear, what an awkard moment that was but so funny! and of course, I have to explain the next day at school to my step's friends what I was doing that day, 'cause of course she had to tell them, thinking she'd win by embarrassing me, which she failed at since majority of her friends are phans too! I died laughing as I told my friends how 'cool' it was and I proclaimed that any who disagreed would be 'haunted' by me and then insert myself "Mwahaha-ing and trying to twirl my coat as if it were a cloak XD good times .. wow, my post is longer than I'd expected .. oh well ^^;

Does anyone here -- probably someone of those who have vocal lessons -- know what "tongue-rolling" and what sirening a song is? (For anyone who doesn't, ithe former is singing the notes of the song on a long, sustained rolled "r", basically, and the latter is basically signing it on an "ng" sound...) I do that with Christine's part at the end of The Phantom of the Opera -- because I'm absolutley determined I'm going to get those notes! ^^; -- But I'll do it forgetting that there are other people in the house. >.<''

Yes in fact I was. It was not to far back, but I was in a PoTO play for school and I kept a few costumes considering I made like 4 of them. I kept two of Eriks.. Red Death and his Don Jaun Outfit, okay... From time to time I would put on the mask or something just for fun, and my mom came in one day while I was doing something that I won't mention because even I am to embrassed to speak of it. xD ((No nothing dirty, just very stupid.)) And well, she caught me coming into my room... She just stood there and watched for a moment before saying something. xDD
