Senritsu kept her smile as Serena quickly chose the wrong clone. “Heehee, sorry, wrong.” Poking her look alike, the clone of Senritsu quickly poofed away, leaving the real one alone to stare at Serena with a smile. The Uchiha noticed that Sukotto himself was training with Bunshin no Jutsu as well. It almost made her wonder why he didn’t join in their little game as well. Then, it seemed Shisei had ‘finally’ finished what he was given, proclaiming he wished to go on to the next thing to be done. She could only smile as it made her think of herself. Her attention quickly spun back to Sukotto as her name was called. Like a dog to its owner, she paid attention with great detail to what it was he wanted her to do. Thin hands set upon budding hips as he told Serena to take a break while she had to continue on doing harder things. That was no fair at all. Serena got breaks and Shisei got to be by himself all the time. Why was she the one that got picked on to do more than any of them? Well, it didn’t matter. She preferred it that way. She was still a long ways from what she wanted to be when she was able to become a Gennin, and would do anything in a short amount of time to get there.
“Yes, sir.” Senritsu said in a playful sort of voice as she quickly got into the tree she had used before. Standing up on what leg, she balanced herself as best she could before attempting to redo all of those hand seals she’d practiced doing just a few minutes before. Though, as soon as she began to go to her second hand seal, her foot slipped, causing her to fall backwards, slam her back onto the bark and slide a bit down the tree’s rough bark before she was able to grab onto a branch and swing herself back up. “….ow…” she muttered as she reached to touch her back, feeling the thin scratches that now adorned her otherwise pure and unscarred skin.

Rubbing her back for a moment longer, Senritsu winced. It was actually pretty painful. Like getting a paper cut from a scroll you just opened. The stinging sensation was rather annoying, but she knew that she‘d have to continue on doing what she had to do if she wanted to take a little bit to get rid of the pain. As far as she was concerned, in a few minutes, the pain would subside and she‘d be able to continue on and finish whatever Sukotto had for her to do next. The tiny bodied Uchiha female looked over at the male in question. Wondering what on earth he‘d be having her do next. Perhaps she‘d have to perform the Bunshin while doing a handstand and having to jump up to do the handstands in the tree. That would just be absurd though. No way on this earth could he have her do that! Her eye brows furrowed as she stared at him, criticizing what he may have been thinking about before. Perhaps it was more things for her to do that had to deal with things she was horrible at. More Chakra, or Jutsu, or physical training!
Getting herself up so she could finish working on her exercise. Placing herself up on one leg, she began to do her hand seals, a bit slower to be sure she would have enough time to catch herself if she fell or slipped again. Using the same order she did for the previous hand seal exercise, she began with Ox. Once again, as she started to move her hands towards Boar, she could feel herself beginning to slip, and separated her hands to catch herself before she slipped too far one way and scratched herself against the bark. Another painful encounter was not something she wished to have. With a blank face, she moved her feet back into their original position.

When she’d made sure her foot was secure in between the small crook that was formed where the branch separated from a small continuation of the trunk, she stood up on one leg and prepared to continue on doing what she had been. The female waited for a few moments, waiting to make sure that she would not be falling again so she could continue on with her hand seals without the worry have having to catch herself again. The very second she was assured that no falling would occur if she momentarily distracted herself from the balancing act to do her hand signs, she took it. The child quickly executed the Ox seal, quite easily in fact. The first few were always the easy ones though, it would be when she completed all of the hand seals at once that it would become quite the feat to accomplish. With a single switch of her hand position, Boar was achieved, and a moment after that, Ram. And of course, Monkey quickly came into motion with the same intimate hand gesture. It almost looked as though she had began to hold her own hand.

Senritsu smiled to herself silently as she felt that she’d done pretty well for her first good few hand seals. But, that drastically changed when a small gust of wind forced her out of the position she was in, making the slender and light weight girl to move forward. With her foot still caught in the tree, the position she’d made it into so that she’d stay in the same spot, her body moved forward causing her ankle feeling all of the small weight she had onto it. She couldn’t help but cry out a little before biting onto her bottom lip to stop the sound. She didn’t really want Sukotto to have to worry about her when he had two others to deal with, and she didn’t need Serena or Shisei hearing anything that would make them laugh. It then crossed her mind, while she was still hanging limply from the tree, whether or not they knew that Sukotto and herself were of the same last name? She’d told Serena her whole name, but did she know Sukotto’s? And what about Shisei? Well, it didn’t matter really. Hopefully they wouldn’t take it as giving any favoritism while they were all on the team. Well, so far it seemed like Serena and Shisei were getting the most favoritism. Senritsu could almost feel herself getting a tiny bit sad before she scuffed it off and wondered how she’d be able to get herself up from her position. It was beginning to get rather annoying.

Senritsu began to do a crunch while upside down, feeling herself getting close to her ankle, before collapsing back into the position she was in. Good thing her shirt was pretty tight against her body, else it would have shown things that Senritsu probably wouldn’t want to be shown to two boys and a girl she’d barely met the day before. With one good decent try, she managed to grab onto the branch next to her and pull herself up to get into a better position to undo her leg from its stuck position. Wriggling it around a little bit, she managed to untangle it from the branch’s crevice.

Pulling it away from its trap site, Senritsu gently rubbed her ankle, seeing it was a bit red and swollen from being pulled the way it had been. Her eyes closed shut tightly as she accidentally pressed on a very tender area. It was red, swollen and looked a tiny bit bruised the way the light was hitting it. Slightly purple. That was a bruise right? She’d only ever had bruises on her face when her father would hit her, she didn’t know what they looked like on other places of her body. Getting out of the tree would probably be something she’d need to do to make sure she didn’t hurt herself any further.

The only problem would be, well, getting out of the tree. Looking over the side of the tree that faced the others of the group, it seemed to be quite a long ways down for being hurt. She couldn’t leap out of the tree, else she hurt her ankle every more. If it hurt this much now, she didn’t want to think about how much pain she’d be in if she just leaped out of the tree and landed on it. Just the thought made the girl cringe in fear of future pain. Turning around slowly, making sure her foot wouldn’t hit anything to make it move unnaturally. Even with keeping it as still as she could, it was hurting immensely.

While gaining a bit of breath the serpent youth pivoted his face around the area as to see what was happening. Both female teens had seemed to stop in whatever exercise they were doing. The one up in the tree appeared to be doing something with her foot while the other was also taking a rest. He boy’s bitter stare revealed no expression or thought. The second his skull had turned to view them was also the same time it turned back around onto his training. “Pay more attention to the lower half…” his mind thought thinking of the jutsu. The last attempt surged chakra through his upper body quicker. Hopefully this time he’d be able to do it better. Both hands were held out, his frame extending them to their maximum length. His brain was trying to solve the equation to the second he’d need to have when his fingers clapped together and made the seal and the time for his chakra to resonate from his body. The ten digits intertwined and at the same time the blue wisps of aura came rushing forth. They started at his feet and spread out like a flower in bloom. After a second the blue currents of energy slowly receded upwards as if the flower in bloom was closing back to the world. Before the sky colored air could engulf the child Shisei released the power allowing the chakra to dissipate. The timing was still off. This time the chakra erupted from his lower half much faster than his upper torso. He’d have to rethink this again.

As the serpent youth made his second attempt he felt that his mind could assess the right time and his body could keep up. It would make perfect symmetry. A thought entered the mind of the dread head. He contemplated if everyone’s expulsion of chakra was the same. Were all light blue and wispy like the wind or was that only his or just a trait of the Orochi? Or was it a trait of his element. His eyes never did notice Kanami’s chakra when she released hers so he did not know. It would be something for him to investigate in the future. Cause if there was a difference then to figure out the difference between each would be intriguing. Even more interesting if it was connected to the use of jutsu. As the youth reflected on this bind his body began to move on its own. If his calculations were correct he did not need his full attention. Although ‘if’. Heh. He was Orochi Shisei. His calculations are correct. The boy’s palms clasped together again the seal of ram was one again created. With only a fraction of a second so small that a molecule would have trouble spotting it his chakra burst from all sides of his body. The whipped out violently at first, with no actual form or poetic shape of swirling wind. It seemed more like wild stripes of sky blue erupting. This was only for a second as the snake child knew what he was doing now. Although practice would be needed in the future. As the chakra within him began to settle the serpent youth decided to let his mouth open to world. “What is the next step.” his voice asked Sukotto, but his face never pivoted to face the teen. It remained fixed in a direction out towards the sky.

The girl kept her eyes on the ground below her, using only her two hands and her one still decent leg to get down. Senritsu hung from the tree by only her hands, settling herself so that she’ll be ready to land on her good foot when she was prepared. Keeping green eyes and spotted green ground, she let go with her hands and gently landed on her foot before lowering herself to the ground to keep herself off her feet. No excessive pain so far, but it would be quite a bit before she was sure her ankle would be alright to walk on again. Might as well do a bit of reading while she had the chance.

Grabbing one of the two books she’d gotten earlier from the library, she opened it and began to read. The book she ended up choosing was the one on Jutsu. It was a full length novel starting from the basics to some of the most intricate of Jutsu. The young girl’s eyes glanced over the pages in her lap. Chakra was one of the first things to be learned. Senritsu had knowledge of Jutsu, every aspiring Shinobi did. Chakra was the basic energy needed to perform most Jutsu that ninja have in their arsenal.

Chakra is produced by two energies within the body. Physical energy from the trillions of cells within them, and mental energy, made by experience and training. Chakra moves through the body much as blood does through the veins. Chakra can be used for jutsu, as well as supernatural effects, for example, walking up trees, or walking on water. This energy can also be used to manipulate nature to a certain extent. Chakra can be converted into the elements, earth, water, fire, wind and lightning.

Looking upwards, Senritsu’s eyes landed on Sukotto. His was fire. That she knew. It was the only elemental Jutsu element he’d ever used before her. When her eyes went to Serena, she could only guess that her’s was lightning. It was on her ankle, as well as the choker around her neck. As for her own, and Shisei’s elements, she’d have to learn later on. With that done, she returned herself to the book in her lap, turning to the next page to see what else she could learn.

Each element was stronger, or weaker than another element. For example, fire is weak against water, but can easily counter and even gets stronger against a wind-based jutsu. All ninja have natural element affinities to one of the five elements. Ninja with an affinity for fire will be able to breathe fire much sooner than they will be able to manipulate water. Once more green eyes focused on the fire-breather feet away from her position.

Sukotto nodded at Shisei's request. It seemed as though the serpent youth had a bit of a better grasp on the concept of chakra control than Senritsu had during the time that Sukotto had oversaw her Body Replacement training, but less of a grasp on the stealth aspect. In all honesty, Sukotto was happy to see these extremes, as it would make for a varied and versatile team, which would allow them to take on a variety of missions for Shimagakure without having to bring in outsiders from other squads to lend a hand. After getting his mind back on track, Sukotto thought of how he could take Shisei through the last stage of the technique training, as it was a bit tricky to teach because it required a partner. He closed his eyes as he spoke to the boy. "Well in the final stage, you will combine the previous two stages and use the technique to dodge attacks that your partner will launch at you. When you're using the technique, imagine all of your chakra flowing throughout your body, and during the last seal, imagine that chakra replacing the position of whichever object you wish to switch places with." A gentle gust of wind blew itself through Sukotto's brown hair as he relaxed his muscles and quickly formed another bunshin, still keeping his eyes closed. "You and your partner will only lightly tag each other to represent strikes. I would say go full contact, but we have a mission coming up very shortly, so I don't want any injuries." The Uchiha's body tensed a little, as if he had transformed into a spring that was compressing a lot of energy, getting ready to leap from his position. "Your partner for this exercise will be...... Me!" With that said, the Uchiha opened his eyes and sprinted towards the Orochi, launching an open hand towards the boy's center mass.

Clone Technique [Bunshin no Jutsu]
This technique creates intangible clones of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can usually be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.). You use this technique to confuse your opponent in order to attack them more easily.
