Oh yes. Everybody you meet changes you. ::pauses thoughtfully:: or at least that's how it's supposed to go, anyway. Anyway, look at Ran! Since he met Arianna, he doesn't hate Air Humans anymore! ::happily, not realizing that his mother might not know Arianna is an Air Human:: But does he always blush like that?

*Ran sat back down and rubbed his hand. He looked up to Arianna and shook his head* It's alright. I'm pretty much over it I guess. Thank you tho... *Ran spoke softly and smiled lightly at Arianna. He hated having to think of his brother and father all the time, but he really couldn't help it. At least he didn't hold as much hostility against Arianna anymore*
*Kyoko listened to Belinda then felt her hand stop at the mentioning of the air humans. Quickly she continued stirring the meal she was preparing and smiled weakly* So she's an air human? I had no idea. She's so sweet it makes me feel guilty. *She closed her eyes and almost felt a tear forming* I'm sorry. I've always hated the war that's been going on and I've constantly blamed the air humans for it. But... *She paused and looked over at Ran and Arianna talking calmly with each other* But that girl is so sweet, and to think that she could open Ran's heart is really something amazing. I guess we all have our good and bad traits right? *Kyoko wiped a tear away and smiled at Belinda*

::smiles:: well, its become my mission to stop the war. ::goes into a fighting stance, pushing up an imaginary sleeve and holding her fist up:: at any cost. Well, not any. ::stands regular again:: I don't wanna kill humans. Just stop em.

Arianna looked up a little to see Ran smiling slightly. She forced herself to give a small smile in return. Still wondering what had caused her race to attack Ran's family members. She stayed where she was, trying hard to stay clam and not to cry. She shouldn't be there, Ran's family had be hurt so badly by her race and yet now they were all about to have dinner....that thought made it harder so Arianna not to cry.

*Ran stood up and started to fix some glasses of water and preparing the table for dinner. Utensils, plates, ect... He stayed quiet as he did so, not sure if talking so much was a good idea right now*
*Kyoko smiled at Belinda and started to pour the vegetable stew into a large serving bowl* A peaceful ending would be nice, but I don't think it will come without more bloodshed. *She sighed and set the bowl on the table* But I do pray that you achieve your goal. For now, why don't we just maintain the peace here and enjoy a meal together? *She smiled and motioned to an empty chair for Belinda. Then looking to Arianna* Dear, why do come and have a seat?

Arianna looked up at Kyoko as she mentioned for her to take a seat for dinner. Arianna gave a slight nod, trying to remain clam and not to cry. She slowly made her way over, staying quieting as her guilt for Ran's family grew.

Mariata slowly walked into the house and then smiled over at Kyoko and waving. She had met the woman a few years ago when one of her little ruckuses had caused the woman to lose her vegetables. Mariata had felt bad and helped her. She'd also run into her today at the market and been invited to dinner, she wanted her to meet her son. Ironic isn't it? It had taken her a minute to realize the directions led to Ran's house. "Hey Kyoko-chan. Hello Belinda, Arianna, and Ran." She smiled and then walked over to Arianna and put her hands on her shoulders. She leaned in close to her ear. "Don't feel bad about Ran's family, they were soldiers and they died valiantly fighting for their cause. The deities of ages ago started it because they were bored and Belinda and I will do our best to stop the blood shed." she whispered, then patted her on the back and walked over to Kyoko. "Would you like some help Kyoko-chan?" She had altered her appearence slightly to look like a regular land human as she always did around Kyoko. She liked the woman and didn't want her thinking of her as a demi-goddess but as an equal.

*Kyoko looked to the door and smiled brightly* Ah! Mari-san! Irasshai! Please have a seat, we were just getting ready to eat. *She smiled and pulled out a chair for her, then slid an extra chair over for herself* Please everyone, help yourself. *She sat down and smiled at the group. This was the first time there had been such a big group at the table since her husband and older son left for the war. It made her feel like she had a family together*
*Ran looked around the table and took a breath. There were...so many girls. He took a breath and fixed a bowlful of the stew, setting it down in front of Arianna* You'll like it. Mom's a good cook. *He smiled and nodded, then proceeded to fix everyone's bowls, setting them down in front of each of them* If anybody needs anything, just ask.

Arianna felt a little bit better thanks to Mariata. She decided later she would give a thank you to Mariata for making her feel a bit better. Arianna turned to look at Ran and gave a small smile. Her eyes holding some sadness, but not as much thanks to Mariata cheering her up a bit. "..thank you.." she said softly as Ran gave her some soup.

"Thanks Ran-kun, Kyoko-chan." she nodded to them and picked up a spoon. "Your house is very lovely Kyoko-chan, it's nice to finally see it." She was going to make a point to keep her temper, especially around Ran. Her sea green hair fell gently around her shoulders and draped down her back, her light blue dress seeming to float around her. Her normally pointed ears were softly rounded and her eyes lost a bit of intensity when she became human. She also cut quite a lovely figure that was much less intimidating than her goddess form.

I'm glad that you finally stopped by. *Kyoko smiled and sipped the stew lightly. She was very pleased with the turn of events this afternoon. She had a friend here and her son had brought two lovely girls to their home as well. She only hoped that Ran wasn't getting into trouble with them. But with his current appearance of embarassment, she doubted it*
*Ran took a big of the stew and smiled. His mother's cooking was always the best and he hardly ever missed a meal. He looked at Belinda, who seemed to be lost in the task of eating, then looked to Arianna who still seemed to be rather shy and recluded* How is it? I hope you like it.

Arianna was too wrap up in her thoughts to even have touched her food. When Ran spoke to her, he brought her to reality. She gave a small smile. "Umm I'm not really hungry...I'm sorry....I...I think I need some air please exucse me..." she felt rude by having to get up from the table and go outside but she really needed air. She needed to clear her thoughts and stop the guilt in her heart from growing. After getting outside she turned around the house and leaned against the wall. A new thought hitting her on now giginv Ran and his mother the impression that Air humans were rude. ...just great...even more guilt to add...why do I have to be shy....why can't I b like Belinda or Mariata...they have no problem talking to new people... she thought.

Mariata looked at Arianna. "I think I'll go with you. Excuse me Kyoko-chan, I'll be right back. It's delicious by the way." she said, smiling and standing up. She walked over to Arianna. "Let's go for a walk." she said, looping her arm into Arianna's.

*Ran watched Arianna and Mariata go and swallowed a mouthful before getting up from his seat* Excuse me, I'm gonna go see what's going on. *Ran quickly stepped around the table and followed Mariatta and Arianna outside. He didn't know why, but he felt like her uncomfortableness was his fault. He opened the door and shut it behind him then quickly caught up to the two of them, looking at Arianna* You alright?

Arianna wasn't expecting anyone to go after her. So she was surprised when Mariata came after her and loaped her arm with hers. Then to have Ran come.....she looked down, ashamed of herself for acting the way she did. "...I...I'm sorry for acting like that...and...for your losses..." she choaked out...she felt like she was gonna cry.
