hitaro was in a grumpy mood and tried to scrape what was tieing his hands together with the particurlarly sharp end of his sword case (dont ask) and tried to do it unnoticed.

Lance glanced over his shoulder at her from where he knelt on the ground, searching a dead cop's clothes. "Sure," he said offhandedly. "What happened, Anila?"
What was taking so long? Why hadn't Itami come to tell him how Lacey was doing? How had he been stupid enough to let her get shot in the first place?
Shaking his head violently to dispel the thoughts, he repeated, "Sure. Tell me."

Itami walked back to the clearing where Lance and Anila were. "She'll be fine once the bullet is out and when she is wrapped up. But I need someone to secure her, so I can get the bullet out" she said softly. The only way she had too get it out was to cut it out with a dagger. She didn't want to mess up, so she couldn't have Lacey moving.

Lance's eyes lifted, and he rose immediately to his feet. "I'll do it," he said. "She'll listen to me. Even if she can't hear me, she'll listen."
Walking to Itami, he asked softly, almost painfully, "She'll really be okay?"

Anila did a light smile, and as she was just about to speak about her stupid story, Itami appeared. She completely stared at her, as she spoke about Lacey. 'Hmm..I knew she was gonna be okay..' She wanted to rub in his face, but knew that Lance would have probably killed her, or just damaged her, physically. Taking a deep breath, she listened to Itami tell about Lacey to Lance, but could tell that he was suffering way more than she or Itami were.

((OOC: Well, the cops followed Hitaro (the new guy) to our secret hideout. There was a huge fight, culminating in all the cops getting dead and Lacey getting shot by very dangerous, very illegal bullets. So now Itami's trying to save her life and Lance is having a mental breakdown.
TL;DR: LOLOL drama.
