Gem didn't listen to a word he said, she just kept pulling the trigger and readjusting her arms to curve the bullet just right, she had to see him fall, as far as she knew he had killed them al, and he was an even bigger threat than herself to the whole setup. "If only you were right..." She said though gritted teeth.

The adreniline rushed through Steven's body and he moved faster than even Joker could at his peak. He dodged every bullet and shot Gem's other knee, "Excuse me, I was talking!" he shouted at her. Steven smiled again, "I'm sorry about that, I don't like interruptions. Well, as I am obviously unwanted, I will leave. Goodbye" Steven turned and ran out to his car. He turned it on and drove away laughing.

Gem dropped, crumpling to the ground. "Bastered!" She shouted her face twisted in pain. She rolled over onto her back and gritted her teeth, her eyes closed tight. she was trying to not pass out, this was very bad. Now with both legs injured she would not be able to walk right for at least a week and a half. She let her gun slipped out of her hands and onto the floor at her side. She could feel the warm wet red blood pooling around her lower thigh as it flowed out of the wound.

Joker cursed under his breath and helped Gem up, "Come on, let's get you into a bath." he whispered and helped her into the other room. Joker put Gem into the bath sh had been using previously, ignoring the searing pain that came from every inch of his body.

Gem gritted her teeth and let her leader help her into the bath. "Thanks joke, love ya." She sighed relaxing slightly. She was starting to warm up to the idea of being involved with Joker, he was brave and caring, she really couldn't do any better right then. If she played it right she could have a really good setup, but by his last order she could tell that he was starting to slip away, he had ordered her into the line of fire, He had stopped caring if she lived or died.

Joker smiled, "No problem Gem." he said and got back into his own bath. He grimaced and shook his head several times. He threw his guns on the side of his bath and laid down. Joker hurt, everywhere, and couldn't move very well.

Serrenedy had jumpped to attack mode, but upon seeing who it was calmed "Please, PLEASE tell me your ll here, safe, and ALIVE because he's dead?" She asked.

"I've been thinking... about what you said..." She tilted her head and watched her leader with careful but bright eyes. "And I think I feel the same way... ok?" She leaned on the edge of her tub her fingers gripping the white porcelain. Her orange blonde hair was splattered lightly with her own now dried blood, and her face also held a few dots of dark brown, but her face was sincere she meant it.

Serrenedy's body tenced up unaturaly. "I'm the lest hurt, I have to...trin in case he had friends" She walked mechanicly to the door and ran as soon as she was out of sight. 'curse her, curse her, curse her' it was the only thing in her mind at the moment as she ran down to the sparing area

Joker smiled at Gem, "That's amazing." he couldn't stop smiling at her, "That's amazing." he repeated. He was dumbstruck and speechless. This was the best thing that had ever happened to him.

Serrenedy had already been in the training room, on a chair, and tring to close the ir vents when she heard his reaction. She crumpled "It's not fair" She cried into her hands "IT'S NOT FAIR" she screamed emtying about half her dagger on one training dummy

Sin giggled from the top of a building, cocking a sniper that she had swiped from a local gun store, now taking aim on a random civilian. "Bye Bye Birdie~!" She chimed as she quickly pulled the trigger and blew the man's head off, herself gigging darkly to herself as she did so. She then stood up, placing a combat boot against the side of the building, watching the people below scurry around like little ants around the mess she had made. She then pointed out a few more people with her index finger before quickly finishing them off. "Oops!"

Gem's smile widened and she reached out an arm towards him. "Is it amazing? How?" She laughed lightly and shifted a twinge of pain streaming up from her new wound. She was glade that he had excepted her even after what had happened. She appeared to be blissfully amused and she truly was, she was trying to act on true emotions more, and take his advice but it was hard.

Serrenedy sank down even lower. 'He liked ME-she betryed him and then he liked me, he talked to me he held my hand he, he, he' unable to cope with her thoughths she called up the airvents, summoning the smile and perky ditude that codenamed her 'joy' "I'm going for grocireries, Kay-we're runniing low" It wasn't as if they'd care. nd it wasn't a lie. She turned and left

Joker took Gem's hand, "I've been waiting to hear those words come out of your mouth for a long time, I just never thought they would." he smiled, "That's why it's amazing, because I'm so happy."
