... And back Nils came, towards the lake.
"Almost there..."
Except he tripped and fell face first into the snow. He immediately stood back up, unaffected by the fall but breathing heavily from the running.
"Guys... Bad news... Nino... Nino's been taken... By a guy named Leander... Phew..." He plopped back down into the snow.
"Sorry... out of breath... Go... there are... Mauthe Doogs... at... FEF Castle..."

Zelos let his enthusiastic demeanor fade, showing a more serious side.

Aran stopped tieing his skates, put on his arm and knee guards and started to run, but he had no weapon. "Hey, does any have a- Oh nevermind, I have a spare one near the castle in case of emergencies." So he started towards the Castle, hoping it wasn't too late.

Baby Leaf held up his arms, smiling innocently, wanting to be held by someone else than the knight.
Finn stared in amazement. "That's...right, Prince Leaf, you needn't be worried about anything. I'm sorry I yelled."
The child babbled something incomprehensible, but because of his happy face, Finn assumed he forgave him.
Hearing the news of some kidnapping, Finn's ears twitched. "W-what?! But...I still have more babysitting to do!"

Ninian returned to the lake, listening to everyone's reactions. When the knight paled and mentioned babysitting, Ninian stepped forward.
"I beg your parson, Sir Knight, but perhaps I could watch this child if you would go and fight. I don't believe I heard your name."

Blossom huffed out a sigh at Rei's victory, and she wiggled her fingers. They were a bit stiff from the cold, that might explain why she had lost her weapon so easily... She didn't linger long on the thought, though. Nils was soon running at them, shouting of how there were creatures attacking the castle, and Nino was taken.
Wait, what?
"Oh no...!" Blossom gasped. She looked at Aidan, then grabbed the borrowed Iron Sword again. No time to ask to keep borrowing it. She was off running in an instant.
[[Gone from here. And will post kinda slow; I'm going to try to get some paper lilies folded for friends while I do this. XD]]

Alihi smiled, picking up the child, holding him carefully in her arms.
"Don't worry. Ninian and I can watch over him." She swayed back and forth slowly.
"He reminds me a bit of Amara..." She mused to herself.

Nils sat up. His breath had finally slowed down to normal, but he still was worried about what was happening at the castle.
"H-Hikaru... The castle's under attack..." He stood up. "I can't go alone, but I can't stand being on the sidelines anymore..." He turned to the Fire Dragon. "Hikaru... Will you go with me?"

The Fire Dragon was shocked to hear this, and horrified at the worry in Nils' voice. "Of course, Kaoru!" He took Nils by the hands and began running towards the castle.

Ninian glanced at Nils, scared for her brother, but knowing that he would be safe with the fire dragon there. She turned her attention to the little baby.
. . . Leaf? Is that really his name? What an unusual thing to call a child. . . .
