Rivven woke slowly, much later in the morning than he was used to, though he didn't feel tired, so his body would probably be back to normal in no time. He opened one eye a sliver, feeling the warm morning sun on his face, and saw Morgan dressing. Apparently she had woken him up getting out of bed, he was a light sleeper usually, but he didn't want to bother her with it, or stop her from going since she had somewhere to be that day. He lay peacefully on his back until she left, sitting up and smiling once the door had shut. "Goodbye." he wispered after, fully clear on that she wouldn't be able to hear it. Slowly he got out of bed, and dressed, pulling his coat on, leaving the three top buttons undone so it hung open from his colar bone up to the top of the high neck, where it came nearly up to his chin, not quite so high as his shirt though, and much, much looser. He pulled on his shoes, but stopped himself to clean the room a bit before leaving, buckling his knife onto his belt for the first time in two days, unusually long to be without a weapon despite his lack of need for them.

Rivven grasped her hand firmly, and smiled affectionately, leading her back to his room in the men's lodgings. He kissed her gently on the lips, before turning to open up and enter a finally clean room, taking his coat off and folding it, setting it then atop the dresser and sitting on the bed. "Is there anything you want to talk about until then, or shall we wait?" he said, motioning to an empty space next to him where she could sit if she wanted.

"There's got to be more on your mind, but we can just lie together if that's all you want to do," she said hesitantly, she was still holding his hand. Morgan was almost tempted to secretly lock the doors so he wouldn't run when he saw her, but if she was going to show him at all it was because she thought he was the sort of man that wouldn't do that.

"Well... nothing worth bringing up. Not much really." he said, looking up to the window before slowly swinging he gaze over to her eyes. Rivven leaned over and put his lips low against her neck, kissing her, and drawing it up a bit further and kissing her neck again. He slowly leaned back, and twisted his hand in hers to entwine their fingers through each other. "Right now, I am just happy to be here with you. That's all I really want to think about right now, for a little while anyway. Is that... selfish of me...?" he asked, staring down at the ground between his feet.

"It can't be selfish, because I want the same thing." she wanted to say something more reassuring than that, but nothing came to mind. Also, she wouldn't have minded but when the time for the transformation occured, she would risk ripping her clothes unless they were removed beforehand.

Rivven smiled and moved their entwined hands back further onto the bed, and put his other hand on her cheek, body around in front of her and kissing her on the lips, letting it get slowly deeper and harder as the kiss continued, slowly leaning her back onto the bed, until he found himself slowly catching his breath, using one hand to hold himself up as the other held her's, leaning over Morgan where he'd slowly laid her on the bed. After a long moment, he leaned back in again to give her a soft little kiss on the lips, and moved his mouth to her ear to wisper "I love you." before slowly leaning back and laying beside her, closing his eyes, and slipping his shoes off using just his feet. He just wanted to lay there like this until that hour ended. Until she needed him to see that, there was little he could imagine better than this.

Finally the light coming into their window from the moon was covered, and she knew it was coming. She sat up on her knees in bed in front of Rivven, and began to undo the rope, slide down the toga...she was ripping everything off, right down to the braclet on her arm. She couldn't think of how to phrase the explanation, so she just kept silent the entire time.

"Morgan...?" Rivven sat up and watched her undress, though he mostly just watched her face, still not sure if it was appropriate for him to look at the rest of her or not, and sat up slowly. He looked over at the window, and back at her. It must be getting to be about time, this seemed abnormal otherwise. Blushing as he did it, he risked a glance at her body as she revealed it, but only examined it for a moment, looking back to her face and waiting. For whatever could possibly come next.

The first thing that happened was it looked like the pigment was draining from her skin. It started at her forehead, then the whiteness krept down all the way to her feet. Her hair grew to about double the length and fullness of what it was, giving her a wild appearance. Then black stripes started to cover her body in intricate patterns. Then the grotesque began. Claws for her fingers, talons for her feet. Gnarly black wings ripped out of her back. Where they had cut her, the blood dripped onto the sheets and stained them. Her head shook a little as the incisors grew in length. Although her wings resembled more of a bat's than anything else, feathers lined it. The effect was to make the wings look even larger than they were before. She had forgotten about the teeth and kept her moutrh shut when this was going on. As a result, they grew into her bottom lip and gums. When Morgan pulled them out her mouth bled. But then again, she wasn't Morgan anymore, she was the Morrigan.

Rivven stared as the transformation took place. At first his eyes went wide, but as it slowly continued, he took control of himself. Until the bleeding began. He paused a moment, staring at all the changes of Morgan's body, both the dramatic and those less so. Rivven stood, and shook his head, running to the cabinet and rooting through it. "Y-you're bleeding, stay there and I'll get something to close up the wounds." he said, pulling out the small collection of items which had already been in the room when he'd gotten it, until he found several small hand towells, and carried them back, tying them in place around the base of the wing where the bleeding began, and walking back to stand in front of her again, wondering what to do about the bleeding in her mouth. So this is the other part of the curse. He slowly picked up one of her now clawed hands, and lifted it up on one of his own to his chest level, staring at the claws for a long moment, and then up to the creature's eyes. "Tell me. About this curse. Does this alter your mind, or control it, as well, or is that still the Morgan I know, behind those eyes?"

The Morrigan shoved Rivven aside, upset at being touched and not fond of the idea of being in such a small room. As it clmaored back to the window, the inward Morgan thought I guess that's your answer for you. I can only watch. I wish you could hear me now Rivven...The Morrigan broke the window and flew out for it's nightly trip, to return hours later when daylight was coming.

Rivven caught his balance against the dresser, and took a step after the thing as it burst out the window. His what little broken glass that had ended up inside the room managed to cut his bare feet as he ran to the edge of the window, forgetting to take caution of them."Dammit...!" he looked after it flying away, considering if there was any way he could tail it, and then thought better of the idea. It didn't seem likely anything would come of that, nothing good. He stepped back to the bed, sitting on it's edge and biting his bottom lip in thought for a long moment before he set about picking the glass out of his feet, tossing it in a pile by the window where he swept the rest of it up. Digging longer, this time under the bathroom sink, he found some bandages, and wrapped up either foot, before returning to the bed. He picked up Morgan's clothes carefully, and stared at them for a moment. Then he folded them neatly, laying them beside his coat on the dresser, and sitting down on one of his beds pillows, falling asleep sitting up, propped against the headboard. If she didn't come back by morning, he'd take the toga and go looking.

As the dawn began to break, The Morrigan swept back into the room. Rivven was asleep on the bed, and before it could make any movement towards him, Morgan started to take over. The lines curled up and dissapeared, the wings shrivled up. The feathers detached themselves from the wings and floated to the ground. Talons curled back into the skin, the same with the claws and teeth. Finally the hair and skin returned to normal. A naked Morgan examined the blood on her hands (it ran up to her elbows this time) and began to wash them in a small water filled basin.((be back later, few hours))

Slowly something woke Rivven up. He was usually a light sleeper, and the thing returning should have woken him up, especially as he would have expected it to be load coming back, though not so much as it had been leaving. But this was a quiet sound, stirring him slowly to open his eyes, and quickly recall the night before. Running water? He opened his eyes and looked over to it, and there was Morgan, unclothed and... washing her hands? It didn't matter. Rivven lept out of the bed, ignoring a jolt of pain from a larger cut on his foot as it bled again for a moment, and rushed over behind Morgan, just stopping himself from throwing his arms around her in relief. "Morgan, are you alright? What happened, is...?" he'd been going to ask about if the thing she'd turned into always behaved like that, but it seemed a bad thing to mention, since he couldn't safely think of anyway to talk about something that at once was and apparently wasn't her. He was pretty certain she wouldn't have run away, even if it had upset her greatly that he'd seen her like that for some reason.

"It's fine," she murmured "It's not mine." the blood was finally washed as much away as it was going to be now. The places where it had caked between her fingers would leave a light stain for the rest of the day. Well, at least he didn't seem scared of what she had become. She could remeber the night before when she had soved him aside and -Mab, had she really broken that window?. "What happened? Well, it's what happens to me at a certain hour every night. I take the form of the Morrigan and travel to a small island where I serve my penance."
