((Ak, I got to go to work in an hour. But alright.))
Litany channeled her chakra as Spots sent a slash into the green hide before heading back to Litany. Litany took a deep breath and then opened the bright blue scroll. Forming handsigns, she channeled her chakra and placed her hand in the center. "Curse of a Demon." Her chakra formed the kanjis on the scroll as she listened to the roaring. Setting the scroll in her pouch, she formed a second set of seals. "Grand Slashing wind skill." Hurricane winds slashed out as she drew her katana, moving over the water as she used her chakra to delve it down against the water and push the slashing int the exposed area while remaining safely away from the whirlpool. The scroll's edges were begining to darken to a navy color...

"Get ready!" Ryoku shouted, gesturing for Pakkun to put some distance between hismelf and them. After all he was not an attack dog, just one for tracking. Mentally though Ryoku wished he'd first encased the island, sanbi, before he'd ajitated it. That was his mistake, but now they atleast had woken the sanbi...if it ever was asleep in the first place...
The 'island' rumbled as it quickly sank into the depths of the large whirlpool, dousing the fire though the foliage had been burned off it's back and avoiding the wind. As for the linx's attack, well it had barily made a scratch thanks to the incredible defense it's back, or shell, provided. Another roar echoed through the area and suddenly the whirlpool expanded to even where the four of them, Ryoku, Litany, Kaine and Spots, where located. The water spinning dangerously fast in circles around the beast who was still located beneath the whirlpool in it's center.
Ryoku nodded toward Litany as he quickly ran with the water, giving him an extra boost of speed since the water was moving him as he was running. With each step he took he left crystal, having used it to stay afloat like one would use chakra. However as he encirlced the beast with each step more and more were created. He was preparing, but meanwhile Kaine was putting more distance between himself and the sanbi, leaving him just outside the whirlpools reach as he shot off more blasts of fire. "Litany, increase the flames with your wind!" Shouted pakkun from a short distance away...

Litany nodded, reapeting a quicker set of seals while throwing her chakra into the wind. Allowing two of her weight bars to drop so that she was faster, she drifted into an inner circle to allow her to amplify them closer while still remaining in the same spot. The great wind burst creates slashing charka areas as well, enough that were able to slick through trees. It was the equivalent of having sicles in them. The linx stays as a healer if necissary as she keeps up neatly.

The fire exploded into life as the wind fueled it beyond it's normal state. The blasts actually causing a mass explosion as they hit the center of the whirlpool and bursted to send a blast of fire and wind down toward the sanbi due to the strength of the attack. However because of it being underwater the attack lacked the extrodinarily strong hit it would have previously possesed and had little effect besides seriously pissing the sanbi off. With another roar the beast shot up from beneath the water, this time actually rearing it's ugly head and flailing wildly. It's tails whipping round as blasts of water or waves were sent in just about every direction. Soon enough it pulled the thick mist around it and used it to send thin blasts of water defend against the wind some, using it's greate defensive hide to take care of the rest.
After rounding the beast numerous times Ryoku had effectively created over 500 disks of crystal all of which haveing grown from naturaly crystallizing that which was around them. Jumping high into the air above the beast ryoku shot both of his arms forward toward the beast. By doing so he manipulated all the disks of razor crystal about the size of fuma shurikan to move with the current of the whirlpool even faster and fling up toward the head of the beast. Barraging it with numerous razor sharp crystal weapons. To his own dismay though it seemed his crystal fuma shurikan were having very little effect upon it's great defense as well. Landing back down he frowned as he again moved along with the current of the whirlpool. "We need to do something about it's defensive layering!" Shouted Ryoku, trying to be heard over the large crashing waves, those of which he was also trying to avoid by crystallizing some and bouncing off of others. He began forming a few handsigns, nodding to Kaine to again release more streams of flames, some to attack the sanbi and others to defend against the barage of waves targeting both Ryoku and Litany.

"I'll see what I can do about that," Litany shouted in reply. Focussing her chakra, she studied the beast. It had a great topshell armor, but there were weakpoints, like a turtle. She guessed it to be well defended on the stomach as well. "Aim for the area at the head, between the shoulder and the neck!" she called sending out a second slashing wind skill and using her chakra to condense it in that area as she rode the waves like a surfer by running and skidding to avoid the water.

Shade walks out on to the outskirts of the village and starts to watch the woman and the boy and what there doing being clueless he quikly started to sharpen up his katna and worked on the trees.

((Rockin Elvis: We're at a whole other section of the outskirts way off shore. You wouldn't be anywhere close enough on shore to see us. wink ))
Ryoku nodded and watched for a moment as the fire and wind collided to send mulitple blasts at the beasts weaker layering, easily breaking through the condensed mist defense it was using it at first. However now since they had aimed the attack so specifically it seemed to cause the beast some pain, for it roared entirely differently and made it quite evident that it had indeed been caused pain. "Good we're getting somewhere now!" Ryoku said, finishing his handsigns he held the last one shooting a look toward Litany and nodding so she'd recognize that it was time. Before he had a chance to do much else though Kaine was suddenly sent crashing several yards as a wave erupted before him, so quickly he had laked the ability to defend against it in time. It's increased the range of it's water manipulation, Kaine was outside the range of the whirlpool and yet the beast still manipulated the water fast enough and strong enough to send him tumbling. It must have poured more chakra into water then. He thought, turning to Litany and yelling. "It's got tons of chakra poured into the water, use that!"
Quickly forming a ring of crystal in a verticle manner around him. Using it to increase his speed as he made some motions with his legs like he was peddling. The ring there for sped forward again with the current making him so fast he was nearly a blur. Stopping behind the beast he quickly finished the last seal and slammed his palms onto the the surface of the water. "Crystal Prison Jutsu!" He bellowed, a bright light suddenly appearing below the creature locking it in place. With no where to move it was trapped, however that didn't mean it was out of options. For just before the jutsu consumed the beast a wicked wave shot forward from below and infront of Ryoku. With little time to react he quickly reacted by crystallizing the first blasts of water to form a dome around himself and allowed the rest of the continuous streams of water to batter the dome as he manipulated it to stay in place. However it was apparent that the beast has been consumed by the crystals, and yet it was still manipulating the water. He knew though that such a weak attack could only hold it for so long, and even though he had poured more chakra into it than usual that it would still not be enough for a beast of this magnitude. It was up to Litany to add to it now. However she was still occupied by the same occurence, waves shooting this way and that way toward her at every turn. She was fast though, so Ryoku hoped, or knew she could handle it...

Litany glanced at the scroll. They were three fourths of the way there and it was rising quickly. Jumping over the waves, she backed out of the inner circle of the whirlpool which was now spinning faster than she wanted to deal with. The waves were getting challanging and she was forced to dash and skid constantly to avoid getting smashed into the water. For litany was not going to be in the water while that thing controlled it. "Hold it for thirty seconds," she said over the water as she then moved with the force of the whirl pool closer. The closer she was the faster the scroll would fill. But it also ment she was more likely to get hit. Pushing her body through the waves, and ignoring that of Spots warning, she skids over the top to get within fifty feet of the beast. She could hear its roars clearly as she used her wind to force herself forward. This is really going to suck if I get caught in the wave she thougt as she skidded around collecting the chakra quickly while trying to keep herself out of trouble. As the scroll turns a brilliant dark blue and lets out a flash, Litany uses Gale burst to go skidding back as she then notices the wave that was aimed to push her. "Oh crap." It slamms into her pushing her further back, her chakra keeping her from sinking as she skids along the water. "Got it!" she called to Ryoku.

((I think so, i specifically remember the part "we're men in tights, yes!" lol))
Ryoku quickly shot his arms up and the crystal that was encasing him in a globe like way quickly shot upward hight into the air where he held it, hovering there above the reach of the waves and the creature's tails smashed through the emerald crystal and it escaped. He watched as a massive tornado of water wrapped around it before that tornado expanded into a tsunami like wave which expanded outward revealing nothing where the beast had once been. It had escaped! However now they were not in the best position, because now they would have to defend against a portion of that wave in order to survive. However the easiest option was to simply dive beneath it. And so thats just what he did, manipulating the crystal that surrounded him to shoot downward a good ways beneath the water, waiting for the wave to pass over as Kaine returned back to the dog temple in cloud of smoke and Pakkun dove beneath the water. He figured Litany and Spots would do the same, for as the wave passed over he broke from the crystal and rose to the surface meeting pakkun there. Turning he looked for Litany, his eyes watching as the wave continued off into the distance...

As she hits her back on the water, she releases her chakra and then she sinks beneath the water, holding her breath as she watches the wave. Spots was beside her as they were both pushed back slightly, but not much more than she had been from the first. Swimming to the surface, she uses her gale burst to take her back to where Ryoku stands. "We got the scroll filled. We don't even need to go after the gobi, not since I have a certain... technique we can use."

Ryoku nodded, crystallizing the water droplets that clong to him and pushing them away, leaving his clothes only somewhat damp. "If we can find him that is...it makes me wonder though, we found the seven tails right? What other demons do you think we could find?" He said, readying pakkun with a nod so that he could sniff out other demons once she began. "...Oh. And what technique are you talking about?"

"I'm not sure." she said before looking at Spots.
THe wild cat shrugged. "Depends on what demons are in the shinobi world. I can't smell any others at the moment," she said.
Litany sighed before taking out the scroll. "It's called Curse of a Demon... this is what it does...." She showed him the scroll which read: ((Curse of a Demon
S-ranked+
Requirements: Must have been exposed to (By fight or other) demon chakra.
Notes: This technique can only be used once per character. And that character cannot be in a battle for three days after without being sent to the hospital for a week.
Description: This technique allows the user to at first store up to 2 Demons excess chakra. They then combine bloodlines or special traits with this chakra to create another special shinobi skill for that ninja. The ninja does not lose the bloodline, but their chakra does not change to a high level either. These traits must be approved by a Crew or VC and are similar to demon abilities. Ninja who have used this technique are marked by a seal at the center of their lower back.))
"Its not the most conventional..." she said with a sigh, "As we will both be down for three days, but it has good effects, and the chance of a relapse is less than ten percent."

"You mean if their in some sort of other demention then we wont catch wind of them? I see." He first said to spots in his mind thinking. Well then what if we were to find the openings to such demensions? We could use it as a safe house for sky or any other use...and we'd also find one of the bijuu too. Tucking the thought in the back of his mind he read carefully what the scroll had to show them. "I think then that one of us should take the seal and wait that three days before doing it again...it's dangerous so leave both of ourselves in such a position...especially with whats going on in the shadows these days..."

"We both caught the demon's chakra" she mused with a small smile. "So I think that we should probably flip for it or roll. And I agree... things have been really quiet. The birds don't sing much..." Her eyes were thoughtfull.
