Grishelda Phazonite Haha, "What does that mean"? Berserkers are a joke. You rely entirely on force to power your way through battles. It is laughable... As much as I hate to be on the page as you, I understand your point. It is hard to believe someone who is not exactly what should appear when it comes to class.
. . . It sounds as if you're insinuating something, Lady. <.<

Not necessarily... I've seen modest nobles before...
Father Renault, you are misled. The criticals ARE skill. Let's see you have a 30% chance of dealing a grave wound to your opponent.

I'm ten years out of practice. You can hardly expect that much from me.
. . . And with those sword you use, 75%? Hardly skill.

A good sword is nothing without a good swordsmen wielding it. Do you think I wield this sword because I need to? I wield it because I can.
Grishelda, I am not letting that girl's appearance fool me. I'm sure she is very formidable for a berserker. But it is by definition that bereserkers aren't the most... contained of warriors. And a swordmasters finishing stroke is developed through skill and discipline, not flying into an unpredictable rage.

Vaherianslyeri ...What a beautiful process. How is that accomplished, sir Tibarn?
...I do believe that is the common honorific for one of regal status, correct? Just Tibarn will do fine, Miss Vaherianslyeri. The ability to transform is ingrained into the blood of all laguz, you must understand... It is as natural for us as breathing.

How fascinating. Perhaps milady will find a way to make this process in us, as well...

With all due respect, I certainly hope not. You would be a bit of a blasphemy to the proud laguz.
Just a bit.

Blasphemy is relative. If you learn to accept one, then accepting something such as morph laguz would become easier, correct?
Much as some human cultures eventually began eating meat and working on certain days, when it was once forbidden... and grounds for death.

Many beorc and laguz have yet to even accept one another. Morphs are essentially clay men, animated and enslaved by their creator. We have already fought once for our freedom, and continue to do so to this day.

I agree with Vaherianslyeri. People could eventually learn to accept morphs if they stayed around long enough.

You say 'many', Tibarn, yet that admits that some have begun to accept one another. We are not enslaved, and serve our Lady of our own will. Synra is proof enough that we our own will.
Stefan: Thank you. Perhaps one day, men won't see us as 'clay men'. *Stares a bit at Tibarn...*
