He shifted the backpack containing the evil book he was wearing slightly to make himself more comfortable as he waited for people to catch up and whatnot. And now that he had time to think, he starting thinking about where he would go from here. It wasn't like he had any specific place to go: his home having been destroyed in the fight with Jilin's underlings. Durithill let himself zone out slightly not that the angel had occupied himself with something else. ☆✰★ Theƒσσℓ will look at the fingertip ✩

"...!!" Kir pulled his hand back again. He looked even sadder now. Was he this bad with animals before he lost his memory?
Kir stood and made some distance from the group. This was upsetting to him. He didn't think he was so bad.

Lily glanced around at everyone before looking back at Kir. They had delivered Daniel so they should probably catch up with the others soon. The others are waiting for us on Trintiy Island, she reminded him in her thoughts. We should probably get ready to go soon. She didn't necessarily like being peerated from the others.

"Little Kir," Synthic spoke up after a moment, "...Could I see you for a minute? I need to check something," She said. She hadn't gave Kir a checkup since that thing on Tsun Island.
Kir looked fearful, then glanced over to Lily. Should he trust her?

Some Might Say... Natalia hopped after Kir and sniffed at the angel's pant leg. She wondered why he had run off like that. It had just been a n**. It's okay, you can trust her, Lily replied to his glance. Then she looked over at Synthic. If it makes you feel better, I can stay with you.

Kir nodded hesitantly. Yes, he wanted Lily there. He stood still for Synthic.
The woman placed a hand on Kir's shoulder and looked into his eyes for a moment. She looked troubled at what she had discovered. She then knelt down before Kir and placed her ear on his chest.
"...!" Kir looked alarmed now. Flustered and at a loss of what to do, he looked up at Lily as if to say 'what is she doing?'

Lily didn't see him looking at her, she was watching Synthic with a thoughtful look on her face. She had been wondering about the creaking in his chest but didn't know what to do about it or even what it was. Maybe Synthic would know.

Synthic listened for another few seconds before she brought her hand up and tapped Kir's abdomen as she listened to the resonance in his chest. She paused and waited, then repeated the test.
She finally pulled away and looked into Kir's frightened eyes again, "Don't worry okay? You're doing okay," She said with a gentle smile, "Just focus on getting your memories back right now," She stood up and looked to Lily. She gave her a very serious look, as if to say that she was lying through her teeth. She motioned for Lily to follow her.

Lily had known Synthic was lying as soon as the words had come out of her mouth. She glanced at Kir and gave him a smile. "I'll be right back," she said, putting a hand on his shoulder for a moment before turning her head and walking after Synthic. As soon as Kir couldn't see her face, the smile was gone. She knew this was bad.

Synthic led Lily to an alleyway away from the others, informing her friends that she needed to tell Lily something of minor importance before doing so.
When she entered the alleyway she stopped. Her back was still facing Lily and she was trying to formulate the words to describe Kir's current condition. She knew scientific words would probably sail cleanly over Lily's head.

"It's bad, isn't it?" Lily asked, her voice sounding dead. She didn't like this silence that sat between them and knew she wasn't going to like what Synthic said to break it.

Synthic sighed, "I just wanted to break this to little Kir, but I'm afraid he'll regress so I need to tell someone who is closer to him than anyone else, minus little Kieran," She said before starting, "Kir's life is not in danger, I'll tell you that now. He will live. But his transition has started a while ago. I didn't expect that for another year at least. Something must have triggered it prematurely. You must have noticed the scratching sounds that's been coming from his upper thorax region-his chest, right?"
