akuma_kessaku  Akuma teleports straight up in the air and creates a barrier just above her that she uses as a spring board to push off of and fall at a rapid rate, directly above Solaray. she draws her scythe back and swings, creating a large gash across her chest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ian woke up a few minutes later and looked up at Jezabelle, "Hello love." he whispered, his voice cracking slightly. Jezabelle smiled; "Nice to see you're better, and now that your wing is fixed up you can fly with no more problems. Now what was it you wanted to tell me, but you sort of got cut off by your wing hurting?"

Everything went in slow motion from there. A beam of light shot through Lucids chest, he fell, Solaray stood up and turned for her. Without even thinking she flipped her blade outward and hit Solaray with the stick part of the weapon, knocking the wind out of her and sending her flying.
Akuma then tossed her weapon to the side and collapsed next to lucid.
"Lucid!" she cried as her trembling fingers running down his face resting on his frozen lips. A tear fell from her eyes, her vision blurred, and her body collapsed on his.

Chrono froze, seeing Manah cry on Sachi when Jack came and killed them all in front of him, his body tensed, "Solaray..." he hissed as he turned to the woman who had hurt Akuma, his eyes revealing all the pain he has held in his heart. He raised his scythe over her, ready to swing and end her for eternity... Ignatios
The name echoed through his mind and he turned in the direction she was looking. Chrono was gone...

Akuma's body began shaking as she struggled to see through the tears, This isn't happening... not now... It's my day... Our day... you can't be gone.

Solaray shot to her feet and staggered around, screaming and holding her head.
Kaos wanted to run to Akuma, but knew if solaray Made a move he would leave her completely open so he stayed.
Solaray's arms went limp and her head rocked to stared Akuma down with a look of malice; She charged.
"Akuma!" Kaos shouted as he flashstepped forward and threw Solaray into a box of Barriers. He leaned over his daughter not knowing to hold her or run for his life, but he began noticing certain characteristics in her, that terrified him.
He staggered backward as she rose to her feet and returned Solaray's glare. Kaos continued to step back until he was by Toole and Elenath, "Run..." whispered, "Just Run, and i'll try to guarantee you have a goddess left."

Elenath flew back to the city. she knew it wasn't the proper time to moarn Lucid, because there was still much damage in the city. the chapel and the surrounding area was rubble, so she quickly went to work lifting the stone off the survivors and the dead. but she couldn't prepare herself for what she would soon find.

Toole turned with a sigh and a heavy heart, he leapt the sound of his wings dying away heralding his retreat.

Jezabelle stood up; "Toole is coming back."
Toole landed outside the chapel and wrapping his amulet around his wrist rather then his neck he walked inside. The black char around the door area accented the light coming through which highlighted the pain showing in Toole features. Toole took a deep breath a put his feet into motion climbing up the steps, and he stopped at the table leaning on it with both hands. "There is no need to stay here Ailes, there is nothing you can do, the best we can do is just return home."
Jezabelle looked confused; "What about the reception?" Toole shook his head; "I don't know if there will be a reception today Jezabelle, Solaray just killed lucid in cold blood, and Akuma...well Kaos just told me to run from there. I have a bad feeling this isn't far enough."
Jezabelle turned back around and crouched down; "Ian, you probably should let the big man and you mother know what happened, and I'll see you again back home if not sooner depending on which house we go to."

Kaos went into a sub conscious meditation and focused mainly on the levels of his jewel. He felt Akuma's jewel flicker; a sharp spike of power warning everyone in the area who doesn't want to die. He felt her release everything she was holding back, like opening the floodgates; everything poured out. It started slow expanding as her fury rose. Kaos kept his eyes shut, not quite able to bare the pain of seeing his daughter this way, Just like her mother, He thought as he spiked his power. Akuma turned feeling her father's energy, but her vision was too blurred to make anything out. she faced her prey and smiled, "Easy kill", she grumbled as she walked up to her scythe, her hand flexed and the scythe rose to her hand. Solaray's body rose to it's feet and smirked at Akuma. She was determined to put up a fight, even if her body was destroyed. Kaos strained himself and prepared for his plummet to the depths of his onyx jewel. Akuma smiled, "Enjoy Twilite." She raised her scythe and flash stepped into a fury of swipes, ripping Solaray to pieces, but no where near killing her. Akuma watched as she fell to the ground holding herself in pain, and when she looked up at Akuma, nearly pleading with her eyes, Akuma laughed she walked over to Lucid and cradled his limp body, "I'll be home soon love." she crooned as she brushed a strand of hair out of his face. Solaray began to stand, thinking her life had been spared. Akuma began laughing softly, almost sobbing, but it grew, bordering on insanity, till it turned to manic screams of pain. Her jewel released everything it could without breaking. Kaos placed an onyx barrier around the smallest area he could hold and braced himself, hoping he wasn't too old for this. His legs trembled as he struggled to hold his ground, Akuma's screams crashing through his mind and shaking his barrier. The screams subsided, and when the smoke cleared and His barrier dropped There was Akuma, laying next to Lucid's body. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Ian rushed out of the chapel to tell Tsume and his mother about the approaching danger, but he couldn't find them. As he flew around trying to find them, he heard this heart wrenching scream that shook the land and threw him to the ground. Tears streamed down his face, and his body trembled as he clung to the soft grass as though his life depended on it. Just as soon as the scream started it ended, And Ian staggered to his feet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tsume Opened the portal to The abyss and went in leaving his sword in the ground, and letting Anabel stand guard to make sure no one went inside. Tsume Wandered the abyss and in no time found Lucid hiding behind a rock. He smiled and scooped him up. Lucid flailed a bit, but soon noticed he was in good hands and quite putting up a fuss. Tsume walked back through the Portal and yanked his sword out of the ground, Letting Lucid stand on his own two feet. "Go to your Lady, she needs you." ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kaos staggered over to Akuma and smiled, "Everything will be okay my little princess... Don't worry..." just as he slipped an arm under her to Pick her up, there was a tap on his shoulder. He released Akuma and turned to see Lucid standing behind him grinning, "May I?" he asked. Kaos backed away and watched as Lucid picked Akuma up and cradled her in his arms. Tsume stood off in the distance, watching as Kaos patted Lucid's back, and welcomed him to the family. They all returned to the portal and went down to the Abyss.

Elli's team of healers had their hands full, and they were doing everything they could to heal the near dead and wounded. but sadly for Hans Vonmire they were to late. Elenath only had a glimpse of his lifeless mangled body before her tears blinded her vision. Her closest friend and was gone, and Lucid, whom was like a son to her, was also among the deceased. the city was in mourning and another chapel would be erected in the memory of those lost.

Elli sat in front of her fireplace, and quietly wept. the chair next to her was empty and she had never felt so lonely in her life. A dark figure with silver hair stood over her, and rested his hand on her shoulder to let her know that she wouldn't have to feel so alone.

Ignatios frustrated with his failure thrashed about in the empty dessert; kicking up sand and hitting the ancients. In his frustration he released a blast of energy, creating a crater and quaking the earth. If he had been stronger, Solaray would have commanded his every whim. if he was going tackle bigger things he would have to be even stronger.

After the mess was cleaned up, and the entheldian's confidence restored, they were blessed with the news that their queen would give birth to a child. rumor had it that the child was Hans' but Elli never told anyone who the father was. the day of the birth, was a celebration. the people paraded and partied. "Hail Princess Gail!" they all shouted, but the celebration turned quiet when they heard news of complications with the birth. Gail Starwind was born healthy and Elenath was left in critical condition. A week later Elenath passed and Enthelda again mourned, and the city was silent. but now enthelda was left with and infant princess. who would lead them? arguments of who should take charge went on for days, until a dark grim looking man claimed that the child was his own. his name was Jabez Fairmoon and he proposed that he should be the one to lead Enthelda.

A meeting was called to decide if Jabez was fit for ruling. He was obviously not native to Enthelda, but he came from Drautia. He had been war hero and has had previous experience as a leader in a city in Drautia.
Jabez sat calmly at a table on stage, facing the audience waiting for their questions.

no one questioned his warlord like appearance, but they did question weather or not he was Gail's father. he gave them details about the relationship, and that she thought it would be best if their love was quiet. the way Jabez spoke about her made it obvious he was in love with Elenath, and that he missed her dearly.
after some discussing the audience decided that it was right to appoint Jabez and that he meant only for the good of his daughter and Enthelda.
Jabez was now a King.

Being a new ruler and a new father isnt easy. Jabez struggles to keep up with both, and ends up hiring a nanny after putting her through several exams and tests to be sure that she would be fit to take care of his child. After about a month, the people became more comfortable with Jabez as ruler, he was surprisingly kind and polite, and the people began to grow fond of him.

Jabez was taking his usual morning stroll about the city, letting his smokey cape flow behind him, when some thing unusual lay in his path. it was a dead body, the stone cleanly cut from its neck. the jewel thief? Jabez turned down the dark alley that the corpse lay in and found Ignatios sitting behind a dumpster setting the stone in his mask. Jabez stabbed him on the spot with his javelin. Iggy died instantly and a magic pulse came from his body like a wave, and was gone. Iggy's body was nearly encrusted in gems, all from the once living. Jabez removed Iggy's mask and was surprised to see that his eye was also a stone, deep and dark. how fitting he thought his eyes match his soul Jabez carried Iggy's body to the cathedral and had the church ring its bells and announce the death of the fearsome villan.

Cheers of joy rang throughout the city as the announcement of the death of the jewel thief was spread across Arathira, but what happened to be most unusual was that a growing group of people crowded around one of the bodies of water staring at the water stone at it's center in amazement. A woman was chained to the top of it. she was still living, but exhausted from hours of struggle.
Achlys looked down at the people below and growled, "Gee thanks for the helping hand... at this rate it will only take a few more hours for me to die. The sun is just reaching it's peak, and I'll be dust... just like the queen wanted..." she closed her eyes and sighed, "I can't even use my powers, my hands are tied... What i wouldn't give to be able to touch the water below." A tear slid down her face as she closed her eyes and waited for death.
