Teddy sighed and hitched her backpack higher on her shoulder. She couldn't believe her parents had sent her off. Sure they had warned her about her ability abuse but she thought they were just nagging. It's what parents did.
Then again, she shouldn't have set that one kid's hair on fire. It really was a bit hard to explain to the proper authorities. Expecially when they had been swimming at the time. Blushing in embarrasment at her own thought, she tried to boilster her courage. "It won't be so bad, Teddy, you'll see." she told herself outloud as though her own voice would give her the strength she needed.
Taking a deep breath, she quickly glanced around and decided it was now or never. In more of a march than a walk, she stomped through the front door.

Logan nodded his head, though he doubted she would be able to see him. "We'll see then," he said with a slight chuckle. He turned back into the back room and let the door close behind him. He looked about in the room for a moment before letting out a slight sigh. He stripped his pants off and lay them on the counter next to him. He stared down at his partially thawing boxers. They were beginning to drip a bit with the warmth of his body heat. He carefully peeled them off of his skin, shuddering as he did so. As soon as they were off, he grabbed his pants and pulled them back on. He grabbed his boxers and did his best to fold them. He tucked them under his arm and stepped out of the back room. He slipped outside his classroom, switching the lines off and shut the door behind. He locked the door and turned to step away.

((Not sure who is in the lobby for Teddy to talk to)) Teddy nearly wet herself. This had to be the grandest place she had ever seen. Eyes wide in shock, she simply stared in wonder at the room before her as she walked blindly through the lobby. Everything about this place screamed fancy. Even if it was a bit too small and enclosed for her tastes, at least it had high ceilings so maybe she could still breathe comfortably.
Realizing she what an idiot she must have looked like, she shook her head sharply. Eyes a little more focused, she glanced around, this time actually taking the time to see where she was going. Well, for a bit anyway. Frustrated and nervous, she grabbed a map out of her back pocket and tried to orient herself with her new surroundings.

((Logan is will be now. And sorry, my friend called me when I was typing my last post so I forgot to reply as my other characters.))
Logan walked slightly awkwardly as he made his way down the hall. 'I'm definitely not used to going commando....reminds me of when I was in high school....' he thought to himself. He wished he were back in his room already. He felt almost like he wasn't wearing anything at all on his lower half, even though he was wearing pants. It was a really odd feeling... As he entered the lobby, he noticed yet another new girl. He felt himself stand up straighter at the sight. 'Oh boy....curse my teacherly duties. I hope she doesn't catch my edginess...' he thought to himself before walking over to her. "Hello, miss. Do you need any help?" he asked politely, pushing his folded up, halfway frozen boxers slightly behind him. Cole watched Kat run by with similar curiosity. "I dunno, but..." he began before a movement caught his eye. He looked over down the pathway to the school and noticed a man walking towards them. He squinted his eyes slightly, thinking he somehow looked familiar. His eyes shot wide open as he suddenly realized who it was. His body turned to a shadow quicker than he normally did and he reached his hand up to grab at Luna's ankle. "Hide," he hissed, quickly moving to the side of the building so that he looked more natural. Damian followed happily along behind Pandora, tail swishing behind him 'I could get used to the life of a cat. I feel so pampered,' he thought to himself. He looked up at the cafeteria lady as he could tell she was recognizing him. He smiled as best he could, which resulted in his white whiskers lifting up higher than they normally sat. 'Thank you!' he thought to the woman. He trotted along with Pandora back to her seat and immediately began lapping up the milk as soon as it was down to his level.

Teddy looked up and managed not to jolt back with alarm. Her parents had taught her enough manners to know how to react to someone who wasn't... what you would expect. Though she still had trouble keeping a little bit of the shock off her face, at least she wasn't going to act like he had tried to bite her.
Nodding silently, it took her a moment to adjust to his unusual complexion. Of course, in her embarrasment she was starting to smoke slightly where a normal person would simply blush. Trying to unglue her mouth, she finally managed to spit out an answer.
"What happened to your e-" she started to ask but paused momentarily to mentally slap herself. 'Wrong answer!' she thought before trying again. " -I mean, Room 10?" she finally managed to finish, her body beginning to cool down as she got back her bearings and plastered a huge friendly smile on her face.

Marcus was taking alternate routes though the empty halls so that when his illusion went down, no one would see him. Finally, his room was just around the corner, the pain worsening, he knew it was only a matter of seconds before the illusion went down for good. Just as Marcus turned the corner, he saw Akido entering his room. Of all the rooms in this place... ,he thought to himself, she had to be given this one. There was no where else he could hide until the migraine would pass, so he had to just rush in there and get into the bathroom. Marcus entered the room and pretended he didn't see her come in, "Oh hey, didn't know you had this room too." he lied, "Ok, well I just need to go to the bathroom for a bit then we can get something to eat." His words came out in a rush and he knew how strange he must have sounded. After his quick spill of words he darted into the bathroom and locked the door behind him. It was a relief that he could now just let go. With a sigh of relief, he relaxed and let the illusion fall. His true self was now visible, but behind the locked door no one could see him. As Marcus stood in the bathroom, he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. He hated seeing his reflection, all he saw was a ghastly mesh of scar tissue and metal fragments that at one point resembled a human being. Finding a spot to sit that he could not see his reflection he sat at the edge of the tub. After a few minutes of relaxing, his headache passed and he felt the illusion come back up on its own. He made it through another one of these little episodes and he was confident no one saw him. Feeling back to normal -or as close to normal as he can get- he exited the bathroom and looked to Akido, "So, ready to get something to eat?"

Akido pretended not to notice his haste. She held to many secrets of her own to pry into his. Lying on the bed she checked the bathroom door was closed before changing her illusion. She had clothes in her bag but rarely used them unless she needed to make a show of being human. Changing her outfit to a plain black turtleneck, and black jeans with a pair of nondescript sneakers. She almost wished she had redone the entire thing before coming here. Akido loathed having short hair. Her real hair fell to her ankles but these people would never know nor see just as they would never see the natural glow her skin and eyes held. Letting out a sigh as she looked into the mirror things could be worse, dead was definitely worse than this. Pulling on some short black gloves the temperature didn't matter much she was sturdier than a human then a thought struck her with the things she had been saying and the pale skin and dark hair, she was setting people up to to think she was something akin to a vampire. What a disaster she thought slipping on the other glove. She could change the way her skin felt but it was wasted power and if someone was sensitive they would feel it when they touched her, at least when it was her own they would pass it off as whatever their imagination offered. Smooth and firm like marble, to hell with it. Let people think what they want. Starring off into space, Marcus voice brought her back to reality and she smiled at him, "Sure let's go." Running a hand through her hair she went to follow him.

"Well for one thing no torches, no pitchforks, and a sever lack of shotguns" Luke replied As he lead BJ through the lobby, his eyebrow raising slightly when he noticed the girl literally smoking. Well, now that's a hot one! he mentally laughed at his stupid joke. Then turned his head towards BJ "There's also a chance to meet others like you. I mean, finding someone with your exact abilities is rare, but sometimes the similarities are close enough you can help each other out" He said, turning back for a moment to make sure they were headed the right way "And, sometimes they have even come from similar backgrounds, or were shunned the same way. They know where your coming from so to speak...though I still have yet to find someone else raised by wolves..." Luke said, muttering the last part a bit thoughtfully. "Oh, and we're here" He said stopping beside a door and pointing to the small sign that said Office.

"Alright, lets go" Marcus said as he motioned for her to follow him. As they walked through the halls, he decided to find out a bit more about her along the way, "So what are you here for. You one of the gifted or just smart?" he asked Akido.

BJ listened in silence until he spoke of finding people with powers like hers. Responding automatically with a voice void of emotion, "I told. I'm a human." Denial was an amazing thing sometimes and this was one of them plus explaining her powers took to much work and usually involved more than she wanted of laughter however she did offer a bit of history even if it wasn't much, "Both my parents were and still are strippers I went into the family business at 14. I doubt many people can claim that." Walking into the office with a sigh she was in there the shortest amount of time humanly possible that still allowed the woman to do her job before she left again. It wasn't she disliked Luke but she didn't exactly trust him and it was a decidedly bad day already. While bitchy didn't begin to cover how she was acting it didn't stop her from asking "Which way from here are the rooms? I was going to ditch my things then look around."

Akido followed him with a smile set on her lips when he asked about why she was here, "Gifted I guess. I have some slight ability but I really just asked to come here to get away from a bad situation and Lisa said she would take in another stray." Clasping her hands behind her back as she walked she tried to keep up normal conversation without giving to much away plus she was at another disadvantage, Akido couldn't outright lie. "How about you? Gifted or bored?"

"Yes yes, I know. You asked me whats so great about the school for the 'gifted' students, so I answered" Luke said, seeming completely un-phased by her tone. When she asked where the rooms are he walked passed her and gestured to follow him "This way" He said before walking again "We don't actually have to many humans here. Just Lucas who is the principles husband, Xavier the genius" He leaned back and whispered to her after mentioning Xavier "Try calling him X, or Professor X, drives him nuts" He laughed slightly before going on "Then there is Eve, pregnant, dark past, needs to loosen up a bit" He said, speaking very casually.
He then raised his right eyebrow at the mention of strippers and age 14 "I'm not even going to ask how you managed that...but it could be worse. Try living for 10 years thinking your a different species, getting caught in a bear trap, being raised by a hunter for a year who you accidentally ended up killing, and then ending up here" He said, sounding rather calm about all this. Seemingly Luke had gotten over it over the past few years.

Marcus listened as they walked, making sure she followed as he turned corners. Akido's answer seemed to be lacking a bit of detail, Marcus wanted to ask, but he figured it could wait. Marcus wasn't sure how he should answer Akiod's question. He felt that telling her about his gift could lead to revealing more then what he wanted. So he lied "I'm one of the smart ones" he said with a small grin. Afterward he thought to himself how it was likely she wouldn't buy into his lie. He didn't exactly look the genius type or talk it either, but it was too late now. After turning another corner, they reached the cafeteria. "Order what ever you want and they'll get it for you." he informed her.

I hate it when people do that. she thought suddenly but couldn't seem to find the venom she had before. It was irritating when people pointed out that life could have always been worse and worse things could have popped up than being an underage stripper with easily perverted powers. Hearing the comment about Xavier she made a mental note not wanting to pass up the opportunity of getting to annoy someone. Childish, but then again so were her temper tantrums. When he finished his story she couldn't help but comment, "I hate bear traps they hurt like a b***h." Especially when you're a bear. It was a royal pain when her powers finnally worked thankfully she had managed to change back before she was found so the man had virtually begged her forgiveness. Thinking of nothing to say about his story she opted for silence.
When he said he was a genius she couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, she knew for a fact it wasn't the sciences maybe math, those were always a bit off. "What subject?" she asked keeping a neutral tone hearing she could order anything she decided to give it a try, "Umm how about an 8oz steak cooked rare and a side of salad with a water?" When the person nodded she could she smiled when they handed the plate to her making her wish that more people would hire mutant chefs. This kind of service was nice. An extra plus was nothing had been processed so no feeling sick.

Marcus swore to himself, there wasn't any subject he was particularly good at, at least none that would prove him to be a genius. The only real talent he had was in building cars, so he would lie along the building aspect of it. "I mostly spend my time in the architect business. So you know, I'm good at math and engineering, that kind of stuff" Marcus couldn't help but think how his lie was growing worse by the second, hopefully she would lose interest in this subject soon or he might get exposed. Marcus was a bit surprised to see her order that kind of a meal. The salad was expected but the steak was what he didn't see coming. However, he was glad to see her eating a real meal, rather then just a pile of leaves. Marcus walked to the counter and gave his order, "Just a turkey sub, same stuff on it as last time and let me get a be-" He caught himself before finishing the word beer, playing the role of an 18 year old was not easy. "Coke" he quickly added "Let me get a coke with that" He collected his tray of food and turned to Akido, "So you wanna eat here or go back to the room?"
