Elnara grinned, her eyes sparkling brightly, and looked back at Lore.
"Lore?" she murmured softly. "Would you like to?"
The look on his face said that he wanted to be the one to tell people, and she was quite all right with that. Besides that, the sooner the better, in her opinion - after all, there were bound to be questions or teasing later on, and she would rather get it all over with while she still had the energy to handle it all.

Lore laughed a bit feeling giddy inside. He looked up at Haradhel with a straight face.
"The fun of telling people that Elnara is pregnant," he explained as if he was discussing something completely different.
However his eyes sparkled and he was utterly amused.

Haradhel's dark eyes lit up brightly, and she clapped her hands together excitedly.
"Really?" she beamed. "That's wonderful! Congratulations, you two!"
She zipped around the table and hugged each of them in turn, laughing softly. "You two must be so happy!"

Elnara giggled softly. "And nervous, don't forget," she smiled, hugging Haradhel back. "But very happy, yes ... we are very blessed." She reached for Lore's hand and gave it a light squeeze. How could she be any happier?

"Indeed, I think all the excitement settled in once the shock of it wore away," Lore chuckled, "We hadn't expected it... in fact."
He glacned at Serenity and Beren.
"It's a good thing you both visited, I think Elnara and I would have not been aware unti... well not for a long while yet."

Elnara giggled softly and squeezed Lore's hand. "I'm sure I would have suspected sooner or later," she murmured, "after all, there are some changes that I wouldn't be able to ignore after a while ..."
Loss of her cycle, for one, which she hadn't really thought of yet; morning sickness, to which elves were not immune; complete inability to stay awake for more than a few hours; a constant need to relieve herself; and ... probably the biggest clue, the constant gaining of weight ... and inches.

Haradhel laughed. "Well, that's true," she agreed with a giggle. "Be right back, there's just one more load and then we're all ready to eat."
And she disappeared once more into the kitchen.
At the same moment, Beren, Elrohir, Ahren, Arwen and Arahad all entered the dining room, chatting and joking together. It was quite clear that all of them were in a good mood.
"Oh, Uncle Lore, Aunt Elnara," Ahren grinned, giving the two of them a mock salute. "Long time no see! I know it's because I'm always gone, sorry." He chuckled. "But for once I actually made it back in time for dinner!"
Everyone took a seat around the table, leaving a space in the middle for Haradhel.

Lore chuckled, "And I'm glad you did, I was starting to wonder if we were going to have to just kidnap you one day. It has been quite a long while."
As amusing as the thought was, he knew they wouldn't ever do that. Still, Ahren was always one of those people very difficult to track down.

Ahren laughed. "Well, to be fair, Aliya's about as desperate with Adanedhel," he grinned, his eyes sparkling mischievously, "so I wouldn't blame you. Someday we'll be off traveling when you come ... though of course we'll come back regularly for visits."
"You got that right," Elrohir smiled from where he sat. "You might be an adult, but you're still my son."
"Bah, he couldn't stay away for that long," Arwen put in with a grin. "He'd get homesick."

Elnara giggled softly at the way the family interacted. They were obviously very close ... she loved being with them. At the mention of homesickness, she lowered her eyes briefly. She had managed to avoid it thus far - mostly by trying not to think about the children, or by reminding herself that only a few days had passed and they couldn't be missing her quite yet, and she didn't want to break that.
"Still, a bit of travel would be good," she commented softly. "As long as you're careful, and know what you're doing ... and where you're going ..."
Not like her, when she had gone traveling on her own.

Lore wondered if Elnara was referring to hwen she had travelled all that time ago. Even though he would have argued if it weren't for that she wouldn't have ever ended up in Gaia, but he understood.
"I would certainly hope so, I would like to know what you find... or who you meet," he raised a brow.

Ahren chuckled at Lore and winked teasingly.
"I'd offer to tell you all about the hot girls we meet," he teased, "but I think Aunt Elnara would kill me."
Arwen rolled her eyes and slapped her brother lightly on the shoulder. "You should know better than to talk like that," she reprimanded him.

"Oh, I think he's got a valid point," Elnara put in, an impish smile spreading across her face. She turned to look at Lore. "You better be careful just what he tells you about who he meets on his travels."
She giggled softly. "Though for a while ... I think I'll hold off on my shape changing," she added in a murmur. "Perhaps our little one will be spared the curse."

Lore didn't think it was a curse, but he understood what she meant. If that was what had caused it then it would be best to avoid the act of shape changing. He put a hand upon Elnara's own hand and smiled.
"And you behave Ahren," Lore replied back with a grin.
He chuckled squeezing Elnara's hand lightly.

Ahren chuckled softly. "I'll behave," he promised, though his eyes were glinting with mischief.
Arwen wasn't paying any attention to her brother anymore, though - she was staring at Lore and Elnara in a mixture of shock and excitement.
"Wait a second," she said eagerly, leaning across the table to be closer to them, "did you say your little one? Aunt Elnara, are you expecting?"
