OMG something so funny, at least I think it is, happened a lil while ago. I went out to park the car ( I live in queens) and I was supposed to go to the bank afterwards. Well, I park the car, come inside and proceed to read my email. I'm sitting here reading this email about old people forgetting things and such, when I realize that I had forgotten to go to the bank after I parked the car. I started busting out laughing and my bf wanted to know what was so funny, so I told him. He looked at me blankly thinking I was nuts. lol That is when you know you are old.

you know you're old when you prefer ipods over cd players. I know basically everyone uses ipods, but it works for me. Since i love all my cds and i have spent a s**t load of money on them. I will never switch up.

you remember using carbon paper & ditto sheets in school for making copies before copy machines became popular.
And pocket calculators were the thing & Pet Rocks were cool! eek rofl

wufei_gal you know you're old when you walk into a room, scratch your head, and totally forget what you went into that room for...happens to me all the time xp
true, true, true! i can relate to that-- and only this morning i opened the microwave to put the milk away. of course, i'm usually doing better after my two cups of coffee. heart

JuilianFai You know you're old when you say you remember DOS computers, and your teenage neice asks who Mr. Doss is. [I was mortified!!!] So..how here rocked the black screen/green type computers? I DID!! yes. our first home computer in the mid '80's had a black & white monitor that was kinda bright yellow. is that what u mean "green". with a real floppy disk drive of course. it was a compupaq or compac pc. Our daughter called it a "puter" and played pac man on it. she was about three or four yrs old at the time. many yrs later she was surprized to hear that it was only a black & white monitor.

you know your old when you remember brand name cigarettes being 2 dollars n some change. you also know your old when you see new kids on the block come on and you go oh oh ohhh oh oh ohhh oh oh ohh the right stuff..yeah..vh1 90's

you feel old when you find a floppy disk that is like ooooooooooooooooold school floppy and actually bends.

You know when you're old when you're in a "nightlife" area, and the kids going to the clubs are not 'exciting', but 'annoying'.

Faerie KatrinaZ You know your old when your kids don't know what 45's and 33's vinyl records are. {You know, the one's you have sitting around, waiting to be played on that record player and/or turntable that you don't have anymore!) blaugh .. and while I'm thinking about it, You know you are REALLY old when you know about those 78's, too! gonk  Team 4's lights.
