Samara_Lin okay, as any of you who read my posts on here know, my friends think i'm just a teeny bit too obsessed with Phantom. So when my best friend(the one that got me started on Phantom) and i went to see Saving Jane and the Argument in concert at our local theater, I kept my mouth shut when I saw the awesome chandelier that looked like it was gonna fall down any minute (the theater is being renovated back to its original coolness after having been a movie theater for years). But, my friend looked up shortly after i did, and yells to me over the music "Sam! Erik's gonna kill us all! Look!" See, they can't call me crazy. They bring it up more often than i do. I point out a chandelier whenever I see one. blaugh

And my Erik plushie sits on it all the time before he tries diving into my food. there's a chandelier in my dining room too, but I don't think its nearly cool enough for Erik (too simple, not enough shiny-ness, if you know what i mean). and anyway, if it fell it'd only skoosh the food. oh, and in other PotO weirdness, I got a horrible sunburn the other day (no, this is not going to turn into a Gerik story) because I'm pale as death and spent too much time outside, and because of my sideswept bangs (which are kinda similar to my avvie's) I have a white patch over one eye, half of my forehead, and part of my cheek that greatly resembles the phantom half-mask. I tried taking pictures, but you couldn't see it in the photos.

I thought I was going to say "I went to the piano today with Morgan and we sang Angel of Music and we had a great phanish time together." But no! That did not happen! Morgan doesn't seem to be a phan anymore.

Miranda and I played Life today. I *ahem* named my husband Erik (and I actually told her that it was spelled with a K) and our daughter Christine. Then I told her these were Phantom names AFTER the game was over.

XD Homigawd,I was at the mall today and after i bought some clothes i stumbeled into a toy store.Well,They had a shelf full of music boxed from 50 to 75% off,And guess what I stumbled across? A Monkey music box! His hand move! And,He has a little masquerade tune when you turn the key, just like in the movie! And there was another one too 'cept it was a jewelry box And it was so cool. It had a Phantom mask on the top and a Phantom Rose too! And it was painted black and gold and when you open it,it plays 'All I Ask of You'. Bad thing is the little decoration on the inside was missing and the mirro was broken off and shattered. gonk I didnt get to buy it though. The monkey was 54 dollars and i spent all my money on clothes. crying

Les Choristes was my previous obsession (and it was against Phantom in my last struggle mode)...and we watched it today. Now that I've started looking for Phantom references everywhere... The first Phantom thing: The first time Mathieu hears Morhange sing, I can tell he's thinking that thing that Erik said in SK, about "the talented zombie", although I can't type it out because the book is back at the library. Anyone help me out? The second Phantom thing: After it was over, I thought "That's a great movie. Especially Jean-Baptiste (*heart*) and... what's his name? Gerard Jugnot. Hmm, Gerard, why does that name sound familiar? Oh, duh, Gerard Butler, Phantom 2004. Wait, what?! eek "

During volleyball practice, a friend of mine and I used to go on opposite sides of the net, and I would stretch my hand through the little squares and we would sing, "Free her- do what you like, only free her!" everybody thought we were pretty strange... Then during class, the teacher would ask me some question and I would sing, "Of course not!" and all of my friends would chime in for the second time. nnnn... yeah we're pretty much the coolest people ever.

Today I was able to finally get with my two best friends and hang at the old mall we used to go to before the hurricane. Well, one of my friends, Heather, was going in for a job interview at a video game store today too so Katie and I were playing with the demos while she was getting interviewed.
After that, though, we were playing Soul Calibur III that was set up on one station. We were taking turns and one of Heather's turns she went up against Raphael whose costume for that battle included a little red mask (much like Gino's here) but at the same time Katie and I clung to heather, saying, "The Phantom of Soul Calibur is there! INSIDE YOUR MIND!" and we tackled her. She lost the first round because of it. XD
