Akuma rests in her bed only to find Lucid already lying in it. he lays quietly, hugging the corner of the bedsheets.

He thought of the walk with Ailes, and what they talked about. He felt guilty about fighting the teacher, he really did go to far with it, but his anger at what he did just drove him to be harsher. He would have probably caused permanent erectile dysfunction had he kept squeezing. Would maiming him really undo what he did, no, it would only add further guilt and shame on Ailes, she already felt bad enough for what he did to him.

Toole felt one of his symbol crossed and he turned to see who it was approaching. He should have known it would be her, and his mood soured a bit. "What now Sorrow?" "I've come to a realization in my days of observing you, your pushing for happiness on a long term scale, why, and is it releated to the accident 800 years ago?"

"How much of it do you know about?" Toole asked rather bitterly as he turned back to lay down in the massive area of torn up earth. Sorrow came around and sat down, for once being rather sympathetic of Toole's current mood. "Not much, the healer in charge gave me a rundown of how to detect depression, but I don't understand what for as the records around the accident are sealed from even my viewing them by the clerics."

"Why do you need to know Sorrow, i don't need you badgering and insulting me with that in your aresenal." "I think you're going to hurt Ailes more by being with her then all you could do to make her happy." Toole seemed insulted and stood up shouting; "How do you figure that?" "Your very nature alone will eventually turn her away from you, you are agressive, powerful, and will eventually leave her behind. You cannot support two lives on the return journey, and not make the jump between Regulis and Proxima. Even if you both made the trip in a near hiberantive sleep the air supply of your sphere will not support two people. i ran the calculations twice, and you both die. That is why I interfered and tried to convince Akuma to see the dangers in you getting close to Ailes."

Toole looked at Sorrow; "There is no need for you to calculate the return journey Sorrow, you are the only one going back at the end of this time, and you will carry my observations and recomendations to my father on the status of this quadrant of space being a possible expansion point for the empire." Sorrow laughed; "So you are just going to stay behind until they send a squadron after you right?" Toole shook his head; "My father will not be expecting me, he knows the truth, my mother doesn't know the truth of the aftermath of said accident. Hence why she is so worried and hair triggered if something were to go wrong."

Toole shook his head and laid down again; "I'm tired, please leave me be, i don't want o think about the future right now." "I know, I feel the sorrow it bring you, even if I do not know why it is you are hurting." Sorrow stood up; "I may be a pain in the tail Toole, but i have emotions too, although not used frequently i can listen." Sorrow walked away, and toole laid his head on the eath closing his eyes. The small tear running down to dissappear beneth his facial scales.

Toole checked the progress of the amulets charge and it was still a half day away from being done. The wind shiftling slightly brought the smell of all the cooking his direction, the smell of meat cooking made his stomach rumble slighty, and he began to stretch as he thought of what to do in the hours he had to wait.

He eventually thought of something, although not the greatest of ideas, but considering he was quickly becoming bored he cast a external illusion upon the training grounds outside of the woods, and he stepped out of the trees. "Confident are we, to step so boldly out into the open, and you do know that the three in the house we know can easily see through your weak barrier."

Toole noticed Sorrow, and he tossed his head to look at the house. "Be that as it may, Akuma knows that I am out here somewhere, the spell will only shiled simple minds from view, minds that are trained to look for anomalies such as this illusion barrier or are senstive to the energy being used will know something is up."

"Well what are you going to do now that you're out here?" Toole chuckled looking at Sorrow; "Do exactly what they were here for in the first place, and i'll make you a deal. if you can make a clean sweep of three consecutive winds, i'll tell you the healer told me and my father 800 years ago."

Sorrow smiled and drew her swords, and Toole flicked his hand and his talons extended a bit longer. The water in the sink rippled a bit as they met, given toole's size he was being very careful not to shake the ground too much, the shift in gravity noticible. There was just enough present to maintain objects and people firmly on the surfaces proper. However they would feel light as a feather.

Akuma glares at him, "yeah, well your knee is REALLY BONEY!" she tears into her steak avoiding Lucids blank stare.

Ailes smiles hearing the conversation in the dining room. shes glad her sister has finally opened up to someone... kind of. as she finishes up some more steaks she remembers something from school, "hey, Akuma!"

"What?!?"

Ailes comes through the kitchen doors with a grin on her face, "There is a dance next friday... you should go."

Akuma glares at Ailes for what she was attempting to do, "Well missy! if you remember correctly, i am suspended for a week and your man is suspended for two... so neither of us will be going to any dance this coming up friday."

Ailes smirked, "suspension has never stopped you before."

Akuma looks irritated. she closes her eyes and crosses her arms,"look, im a senior and for two years i have went to these stupid dances to make sure YOU were ok, but now i dont have to worry about it because you have a dragon in the backyard who will save you. your fine without me, just sneak him in. plus i would much rather train." she jabs her fork in the remainder of her steak and rises from her chair, "speaking of which, i think i'll begin my morning workout."

"wait akuma! i need to ask you something!" lucid grabs her arm before she bolts off, "Akuma will you go to the dance with me?"

Akuma stops shouting at toole and turns to lucid blushing... after a long pause she answers, "ask me after i train..." with that she dashes out the door to scold Toole.
