Colche puured lightly, nestling in to Aubrey she turned her sweet blue eyesup to the brown haired woman and frowned a little. Taking a deep breath the little cheetah girl held up her left arm, beneath the fur, that black thickened skin still resided, most of her old scars had vanished with the arrival of her fur, but this, this refused to slip away. "I, scared, tell" she paused trying to find the words which caught on ehr tongue and tugged at her mind "bout this" she held up her wrist, hoping aubrey would understand ehr connundrum. Her sweet blue eyes looked to Aubrey hoping for an answer. The words were forming on her lips, but she could never get thenm to unfold the way she wantedthem to. Would Josh even understand what she was talking about?
"How I tell Josh I likes?" she blinks, a child lost in her first true crush, her innocent blue eyes asking for the illusive answer to her questions. What if Josh didn't understand? it confused her greatly, what if her words were missunderstood? How could she tell him without making a mess of it?
Licking her lips, she let the comment about nick holding on to the ring slide. Maybe Aubrey was too busy to wear it, or it was special like her necklace and she couldn't wear it all the time? Maybe that was it.

Aubrey rans her fingers gently over Colche's scars. "You know Colche, he knows a little bit. Just a little." She chewed on her lower lip and looked at the girl, stroking her hair again. "I've never heard you talk about it from your own words. If you think you're ready to tell someone. Me, him.. anyone. You shouldn't be afraid. I'm sure either of us could help you find the words you need. And neither of us, Josh or myself, will feel any differently about you."
She didn't know quite what to say about the other thing. At first consideration...Colche seemed little more than a child. But Aubrey knew that wasn't exactly fair. Colche was nto only 18 in age, she wasn't mentally retarded. She was impared, obviously...stunted. But she was still a young woman, and Aubrey wasn't surprised that she would start to want to explore more mature things now that she was coming out of her shell. Colche wasn't as innocent or naive as she appeared to be, either. COlche has seen the darkest side of mankind, something Aubrey often forgot herself at times.
"I don't know..." she said carefully. She was unsure how Josh would take that, or if he would even return the feelings. "Its good to be honest with people, but sometimes its just good to be friends for a while."

Colche's ears flickered and she lowered her cheek to Aubreys hand, the soft downy fur there brushing against the older womans skin. She knew she would one day tell Aubrey about her past, but the words just wern't there yet. How could she descibe the darkness and the red light that swung like a pendulum. About the men, about the men. She smiled calmly closing her blue eyes. The words just wern't there.
"I tell josh truth" she whispered, knowing itwas easier said in the arms of her motehr figure than said to josh. It frightened her, these feelings that made her heart beat heavily in her chest, that made the world swirl and come to a screeching stop. She knew shehad to tell Josh, just the how to do it was the hard part.

Aubrey nodded slowly. "Josh is a nice guy. He's lucky to have someone like you as a friend." She was completely unsure how Josh would react to that, but Aubrey didn't feel like it was her say to tell Colche what to do. She doubted Josh would return the feelings, at least yet. Colche was still very childlike, and, well, he was her teacher. And as much as Aubrey wanted Colche to just find a nice man and live happily ever after, she was also a realist, and sometimes things like this just had to be learned by yourself.
"You be sure to tell me what he says."

Colche nodded lightly. She wondered herslef how Josh would react to her words, or even if she would say the right thing. She shivered a little the fur on the back of her neck standing on end.
"I will mommy" she whispers snuggling closer to Aubrey. For a long moment the cheetah girl was silent though watching Aubreys hands and still breathing in the scent of billy she pondered a question she wasn't sure if she should ask. "is billy a prince?" she blinked confusedly looking up at Aubrey, the question had just leapt out of her mouth, she wouldn't have imagined Blly being described even remotely as a prince but maybe he was sombodys. Could Aubrey maybe have two prince's? She was special after all.

Aubrey sputtered a bit at that. For one thing, just the idea of Prince Billy shot an amusing mental image in her mind that she just couldn't ignore, no matter how dire the circumstances.
But of course, Aubrey knew what prince meant in Colche's mind, which was a much more sobering thought.
She looked into Colche's big blue eyes and felt her heart sank. She couldn't lie to those eyes. But on the other hand, it was a situation that Aubrey would be ashamed to admit to someone she cared about like she cared for Colche. She knew how much COlche looked up to her...she was susposed to be a role model goddammit, and look what she was faced with now.
"It's a complicated situation," Aubrey said, cupping her face. "Sometimes even if you have a prince... someone else comes along who likes you anyway." She swallowed and tugged on her bottom lip with her teeth. "And that usually makes the prince very mad."

Colche frowned. She could hardly imagine one guy liking her, let alone two, she supposed Aubrey was special.
Of course, most things were complicated. It confused ehr alot the word, it's complicated, they were said often to her and it really didn't explain anything. Of course, the little cheetah girl could guess what this complicated meant, Aubrey smelt of the man, all over, and it wasn't just a little bit.
She felt torn. She was frightened of billy. Not half as much as she had been, but he was still an entity on the island whom she dubbed loosly as bad man. Swallowing hard Colches ears flattened a bit. "Billy bad" she whispers looking at her downy fingers. Why were things becoming so, so complicated? That word again, when did life become so hard? Learning new things it seemed was't all fun, it meant understanding things too, and not all those things were good.

~~Continued from Newts duplex~~
Pushing open her door the little cheetah girl revealed her room. Her duplex was well lived in. It had clearly not been cleaned for a while though this wasn't from lazyness on Colche's part she simply didn't know what to do. From a corner a nosey bunny rabbit hopped, stood on it's hind legs and watched the man who followed her owner. Nose wriggling it beat it's foot ont he floor before retreating in to the bathroom.
Colche's floor was littered with all sorts of things she had collected from around the island though they wee in semi neat little piles, flowetrs, stones, shells, even bits of seaweed, huge leaves thatw ere starting to decay and peices of shiney paper, or wrappers she had liked the look of. Colche was a bit of a pack rat. Her books were probably the only neat thing about her duplex, a shelf was lined with several childrens novells, fairy tales and the odd DVD as well as a plushie or two.
Her desk, with the mirror over it was covered in other bits and bobs, a jewelry box took pride of place. Mostly, the roo was simply messy and dusty though there was the scent of rabbit poo coming from the far corner.
Smiling to the man she held out her hands expecting something to use to help her clean up the mess "I help, show, I help" she puurrs happily, she didn't want to leave the guy to do it alone, she just needed some help and who better to got o than the cleaning man?

Newt stopped, gaping at the mess he was presented. This was worse than Cody's duplex. This was worse than even his own duplex. This was... utter... *filth*. "Ah... bluh-blast..." What exactly did she expect him to do?

Colche giggled and nodded vigerously. She had no need or wont for a servent, if anything Colche didn't even know what a servant was, she just wanetd to learn so she could do it herself, properly, "please?" she smiles a little feline puurr escaping her lips.

"Ah... w-well... er... f-fuh-first... g-get ruh-rid... rid of the guh-garbage..." He murmured, pulling his attention away from the insects. He'd spray nontoxic disinfectant after they were done. He was just glad he had eaten befor she had knocked- he found eating in public to generally be embarassing when the other people weren't used to it. "Ah... luh-like this... everything in th-this plastic bag," He unslung his supplies, pulling out a garbage bag for her.

Colche smiled. Okay, what did she class as garbage? puttering about the floor she started to pick things up and pop them in the bag Newt was holding. She pottered over to where the poo smell was coming from and came back with a cats litter tray. The tray was dirty though it had clearly been emptied quite recently, within the last few days, Colche at least knew she had to keep the ltiter tray free from poop for ehr bunny.
Giggling she emptied the box and put it ont he floor before returning to picking up odd objects off the floor. She really did like collecting things, the problem as some things died, decayed or simply smelled.
