Sojiro cocked his head to the side. No honorifics? He nodded lightly, then started to reverberate. He began to jump up and down excitedly, unable to keep his emotions bottled up. Sojiro slowed to a stop, then bowed politely in apology. When he raised his head, he rubbed his chin. "What should I do first? What should I train first, hmm?" He had a calmer aspect to his attitude now. He was no longer jumping around, the energy wasn't there anymore. Its almost like the excitement completely vanished...

Sojiro scratched his chin for a moment. As he considered the possibilities, he rubbed the back of his head. He snapped his fingers, suddenly remembering what he wanted. "Shikai! I remembered studying it awhile ago in the academy... I don't know how long training for it will take, but I'm prepared to start now! I don't know if my body could handle it right now anyway..."
(I need another month of training or two methinks before I can get shikai)

"You may not be able to acheive it yet, but you can do one thing for it..." Ezru said as he put two seeds next to each other and in almost no time at all, two trees sprouted up from the ground. "You can meditate under the wise boughs of a Child of Yggdrasial." Ezru smiled as he sat down under a tree and began to lose himself in the inner reflection. "Come, join me in this Sojiro-han..." Ezru said as he reached his own Nirvana, next to his Zanpaku-to. He grinned and lay down next to his friend and companion, Real.

(Rawr! Captain, you must join us when you return from earth! Join us in the Nirvana-ness!)
Sojiro was hesitant, but nodded with a smile. "hm!" He said, quickly sitting down under the opposite tree. He set down his Zanpaku~to next to him, too, but had no clue of the dormant power that it contained. He would remain ignorant for a while longer. So naive...
As he sat under the tree, he pushed out all the other thoughts in his mind.
He wouldn't lose himself to it... No, not yet...
With a whisper, he began to chant. Wierd for a chant to suddenly come to mind, eh? (whoever gets this gets a cookie)
"Umo Guay Guay Vising Sow, umo guay guay vising sow..."
("Bad CHI!")

Sojiro nodded lightly, then erased everything. He no longer heard anything. The far off clanging of swords in the distance. Erased. The wind against his skin. Erased. He was concentrating so hard though, he suddenly shot his own eyes open. Damn it. Color and light came flooding back to him, and he held a hand over his eyes, trying to block it out. Even with the help from the tree, it was hard for him to clear his mind from this...

Ezru smiled as he felt the dissappearance of Sojiro's power. The fool did it... Ezru looked up at the bright sky above him, and Real growled his approval.
"Just like you did with the Child of Yggdrsial not too long ago..." Real growled in Ezru's mind "He might be able to hear him now..."

Sojiro looked over at Ezru with a disheartened look. "Yeah, I don't think I can manage to do it. This Nirvana tree thing, its not really working out for me. I don't get it. My concentration keeps breaking. I can usually meditate anywhere else, but here..."

"The Boughs of these tree disrupt your reiatsu..." Ezri said calmly "They do that with all, and that is why I use them for meditation... For if you can meditate here, you can meditate anywhere."

Sojiro slowly nodded his head until Ezra finished. He looked forward again, and breathed out slowly with his eyes clothes. After taking a deep breath, he tried again.
Closing his eyes, he could suddenly hear everything again. He tried his best to empty his mind again, forgetting completely about the fighting off in the distance, what was for dinner later on, and what would happen when he gained shikai. All those thoughts were pushed aside, and he began to understand. It wasn't that far off now. He could finish his meditation, all he had to do was not let anything disturb him. Even the slightest thing... Gone... Erase it...
A sudden breeze picked up and... he didn't notice it. It was out of his mind. His hair swayed in the breeze, but he disreguarded it. Just... let it happen. He looked over to Ezra after about 5 mins of silence and meditation. "..." He didn't say anything. He closed his eyes, and went back to mediating. If Ezra were to say anything aloud, Sojiro wouldn't hear it. He'd have to slapped upside his head in order to come back now...
