The Reverend Maynard "My dear lady, Miz Francesca, I managed to find for you a real screaming bender downstairs, whilst making such good time to attend to your request for me. This fine gent," he stated, a leather-clad hand motioning to the "photographer", has come asking at your establishment about various photography rights and such. Now, I know your policy, dear Lady, but do be gentle. It looks to be his first time here, and perhaps we can't hold illiteracy to be his fault, now can we? animeyumichan Nathan paused, looking puzzled, even though he was trying to hide it so. Perhaps he had missed something, as he was now just realizing. He 'came to' and bowed deeply, noting how the man had offered his best etiquette to the situation. He remained silent, still puzzled, and rather busy studying this lovely creature. Extraordinary he thought, but even he knew better than to say it out loud, or offer a hint of it on his face. { - Francesca - }
The professional looking goth woman glances up at the two gentlemen, regarding them with vague interest over her wine glass. She sits up straight as they approach, recognizing the Reverend. However the smile she offers in greeting falls slightly short as the illustrious guide begins his informative presentation with sweeping gestures and ornamental quips. Instead, amusement fills her features with his short and slightly biting tirade, and she replies with a soft laugh. "Evasively and eloquently verbal as always, dear Reverend," she muses to him approvingly. "You are absolutely correct, I did request the pleasure of your company." Extending a hand to him, "I do appreciate the haste with which you responded. As for this gentlemen here," her eyes trace over the newcommer, humour still flickering in their depths, "I think for now we'll spare the rod, especially seeing as he is most certainly a bit cherry to the workings of the establishment."
Giving the newcommer her full attention, she continues, "Perhaps Sir, if you wouldn't mind, you could see my bartender Urban about aquiring some divine libation? I have an appointment with this other gentleman, you see, so I am unfortunately unavailable at the moment. Although, if you are simply looking for some answers, Urban might be able to assist you or even send you in the direction of one of my floor managers, so you would not have to wait. If you still need to speak with me, I shall certainly make time for you once my previous commitments are attended to."

Jack Finley ___________ Do I know you?
Having been taken by the arm, Jack didn’t object and walked with Kendal to meet these people. Attractiveness wasn’t something Jack was looking for, and probably wouldn’t be for a while, but he chuckled.
Kendal led him to two girls. Kendal would probably be happy to know Jack didn’t think either to be ugly. Kendal seemed to be whispering some secret or something, but Jack payed no mind. Neither of the girls looked familiar, and it appeared that he was not familiar to either of them.
One of the girls, seemingly named ‘Em’, introduced the other as ‘Electra’. Jack nodded politely to each. “Hello, pleased to meet you,” he said thoughtfully, hiding any downheartedness that he felt. He wanted to know, for his own sake, if the girl’s entire name was just “Em”. Surely it was short for something?

Emily Kane-Living Doll Emily smiled up at Jack. "Nice to meet you too." She awkwardly extended her hand for a hand shake. He movements were jerky and you could tell she had never done this before. Being in the circus she didn't get many opportunities to meet new people that were civil about the whole process. Just tonight though, she felt really lucky. Two new people,Three is the bartender counts, She told herself. Wanting to be able to savor this experience.

e l e c t r a x x x cybernetic illuminator Electra looked at the man in front of her, then to the other girl. Kendal and Jack. She needed to remember that. "I'm Electra. It's a pleasure to meet you as well," said she, grinning. She ran her fingers through her hair and tried to memorize the people before her. She knew that these people would probably be of interest to the Circus but she didn't want to give these innocent people away. She knew that the Circus was bad, and full off bad people. And Electra didn't want these folks to be apart of the mess that Electra was in. Sighing, she decided to keep it secret. The Muse. Everything. She closed her mouth tightly, and smiled through her pressed together lips.

Bayushi Tetsu WILHELM"Yes, I'm afraid we are going to have to look elsewhere for something that would lure her out." I tell the young one, endeared by her quiet whine. So cute.. I think to myself with a smile. She'll do just fine. Standing from the knelt position beside her, I take a flourished step back and sweep my hands towards the camp lightly. "Come, let us go see if the doll maker has something we could use. She has all manner of trinkets in her wagon. We'll have to be quiet about it however, or Corin will notice us." She stood slowly, still careful of the orb, and squinted in the direction of the camp, as if the exact wagon needed would pop out for her. She nodded, making a face as if determined not to speak or make any noise whatsoever.

Giving the newcommer to the group a smile, she leans against Jack as she addresses her. "So you must be Electra?" She tells the girl pleasantly, "I'm Kendal. I've been teaching Emily here how the fine art of ritualistic inebriation." A cheshire grin forms on her smiling lips and she gives Em a wink. "So what do the two of you have planned for the rest of the evening?"

Emily Kane-Living Doll Emily contemplates Kendals words. What are we doing the rest of the night... She echos in her head. Emily definately did not want to go home. Emily glances at Electra. "Do we have to go back? Do you really want to?" She asks, trying her best to get Electra to understand what she was saying without Jack or Kendal understanding. Emily would be happy to stay here, find a life in New Berlin. Life? She asked herself, remembering what she and Kei had talked about. She could go back and get Kei. Her, Kei, and Electra, all escaped from the circus. She had never thought about it as a prison before, but now she realised it truely was.

e l e c t r a x x x cybernetic illuminator The female contemplates for a moment. What did they have planned? Nothing it seemed. "I don't believe we have anything planned, really." she said, and nodded curtly. Emily's question, however, made her computer work at full force again. It was disobeying a command, but sometimes computers didn't do what you wanted them to. "No, Em, I don't really want to leave," she answered truthfully. Tentatively smiling, she watched the people around her. No, she never really wanted to leave. But she wanted to stay in New Berlin. The Circus was bad, and this was her way out.

Emily Kane-Living Doll Emily nodded in agreement to Electra. She knew Electra was not close to Kei, so she did not even both mentioning her. Emily smiled back up at Kendal. "Nope, no plans," She said, happily.

"Excellent," Kendal beams cheerfully, "What do you think Jack? Should we show these fine young ladies the rest of the club? We might even run into Marie while we are at it." Pausing, she looks down at Emily, "Or do you want to maybe see the rest of the city? I've got a bike out back. You ride?"

Jack Finley ___________ Do I know you?
Jack smiled absently as she shook Emily’s seemingly awkward hand firmly. Her name is Emily. Still not familiar, but it was better than knowing just her nickname. He listened to the women converse briefly before answering Kendal. “Either plan is fine with me,” he said truthfully, though the idea of finding Marie always seemed his favourite plan of action, but Jack hadn’t seen much of New Berlin since the accident, and was quite interested to know the city better as if it were a person itself.

Emily Kane-Living Doll Emily gingerly pulled her hand back after the handshake and thought about both of Kendal's options. Emily shrugged, "I would eventually like to see both, so I don't have a problem with either." She then though about the riding part. "I have never rode a bike before." She answers. Only thing she has ever rode before was her trailer, and all she does is sleep when they move. Or sew more dresses.

Leila Bellport ----------------The doctor is in Leila found that, like herself, this woman stood out quite a bit. She belonged more in a painting or church, not this place by far. It was almost comforting to know there was someone else who didn’t have to show more skin than clothing.
As the woman spoke, Leila iwas quite interested to find that is seems to be a special piece. Wanting to feel the energies she spoke of, if they were real, Leila leaned in closer, though carefully as the not touch the glass.
While listening to Marie, Leila became even more interested in the artifact, knowing it seemed to be quite special. She was not a believer in the paranormal or any of that gypsy-talk, but it was fun to just pretend. Mixed with her burning desire to just believe, Leila moved her head closer to the glass, but was careful not to touch it. Almost immediately, a faint warmth seemed to emanate from the piece. Shocked, she raised her head and looked at Marie, fully enthralled. "This... shop... is open to the public? To me?" Leila would certainly make her way downstairs to find Nox's as soon as her engagement with Marie was done, though she was in no real hurry.

"I do aim to please, my dear woman... especially when it concerns you." Well, when a lady offered you her hand, you'd best take it and give it a courtly kiss now, hadn't you? And so it was, leather-clad fingers curling Miz Franky's pale ones, the good Reverend offering a brush of the lips to her hand before offering a bit of a tug, daring to suggest that she come with him. "Ah, such a charming, congenial chap that Urban fellow is, I'm certain he's quite up to the daunting challenge of confounding this fine dandy of a chap's mind."And with those very words, our good Reverend plopped his hat back on his shiny head, deftly snagged his umbrella cane with the freed hand, and offered a sardonic salute to our dear photographer, his none-too-handsome features bestowing upon the dandy a toothsome smile, all the while his other hand still keeping the Lady's as he waited her pleasure. But, it wouldn't do to let the fellow get away without a final poke, now would it? "Just be careful what you ask the staff, my fine fellow. Most of them have a grand job to be about, and not nearly as pleasant a demeanor as I've been told I'm blessed with. Walk quietly, hide behind a small stick, all that such nonsense, hmm?"
