Mattias awoke in the warehouse. "When'd I...fall asleep?" he muttered threw a half-hearted yawn. He looked around, noticing that the girl he had been talking to was gone. He shrugged, maybe it was for the best. He strode down some stairs he had faintly remembered being mentioned before coming to a wooden door that was hard to push open. He finally got it, with only a few bruises on his one shoulder and walked out to the streets by the docks.

Jessica wrung out her long hair as she followed Ashe to the warehouse, still shivering. "G-Good..." she said when Ashe said they could use the crates as firewood. In the back of her mind, she couldn't help thinking. Am I trusting them too much? ...... She remembered the girl she had worked with again. How they became close, like best friends...and the next thing she knew she was being attacked by assassins, the girl leading the group of them. She sighed sadly and shook her head, as to shake the memory from her mind.

[School's starting tomorrow so my posts may be slow for a day or two.] ---- Riley nodded, getting up. "Good idea." he said, looking around. They seemed kind of obvious sitting on the docks like this, but other than a pair of faint figures in the darkness, they where alone outside because of the storm. "Let's go." he said after a minute.

[[Same here]] Jessica shivered still. She knew that tomorrow, she was most likely going to wake up with a cold or something. That's just great.... she thought sarcastically to herself. [[Gah Writer's Block]]

Ashe started a fire going and pulled up some more crates to serve as seats. She sat down on one and pulled out the jerky, tossing five pieces to the dogs. They sat down by the fire and starting gnawing on them. She set her bag down and looked at the others. "Now what?"

Jessica sat close to the fire, still shivering slightly. "Not sure." she said truthfully, she had no idea at what to do at the moment. [[I have major writer's block]]

((I have a friend named Ike coming to visit sometime early next week, like Tuesday. I don't know when I'll be able to come back on after that. ... I was being sarcastic about Ike being a friend. Ike is a category 3 hurricane. Which means he's big and powerful, though not as powerful as Katrine was, but just as deadly and devastating, and he's on a war path with my home.
So again: I have no clue as to when I'll be able to get on the web after he hits.))

Anna Bolted into the warehouse district her heart pounding quickly in her chest. In her cold white hands she held her winnings wrapped up in coarse burlap. Her white blonde hair flew out behind her has she skirted around a corner. "I win!" she whispered and leaned against the dark brick wall trying to catch her breath. She set down her burlap package and slid down to sit on the dry dirt ally floor.
She glanced around seeing no one she took out a red ribbon and tied her long blonde hair back at the nape of her neck. She stood and took out a kit of picks and started work on the door to the warehouse next to her. She did not own a house of her own and often crashed in the warehouses that went unused at night. The door opened with a loud creek and she could see a fire burning inside. And saw a few figures sitting on crates near it, she also saw dogs. The figures looked like thieves, it was easy to tell her own apart from the workers.
"Hey!" she called out from her place near the door. She closed the door behind her and walked up to stand just within the light cased by the fire. Her eyes shimmered in the flickering light and she smirked.

Riley sighed, shaking his head slightly. "I was only semi-afraid of this." he mumbled, turning around. "Hello there." he said into the darkness, seeing a faint figuring standing there. "Come in, sit down." he added with a warm smile. Behind his back, however, he moved his hand in a motion to show the other girls to move the bag away. In the back of his mind, the bit that never payed attention to anything quipped: This is your lucky day. It should be noted that he never really figured out what that meant until later.

Anna stepped closer to the fire revealing her appearance. "Thank you for your kindness." she held her package close to her chest it was a lumpy bundle about the size of a toddler. She sat down on a free crate and held the bundle on her lap. The fire felt good on her damp clothes and it warmed her skin in a kind healing way. "My name is Anthony." she said giving out of her many names, She would not tell anything more about herself until she had to, They were still strangers and might be working for the military dogs. "Who might you be?" she did not sound hostile only as if she was trying to make pleasant conversation. She held her head high and sat up straight very proper in her appearance. And she looked as if she might be a worker in any one of the many large households in the city.

Riley extended his own hand. "Riley O'Toole." he said simply. He didn't mind giving away his real name, most of the guards knew it anyways. He finally felt some warmth returning to his body, and his shirt was now dry from lying in front of the fire, so he put it back on, shaking his head to get rid of any water still in his hair. "So, what brings you by this neck of the woods, erm...Anthony, right?" he asked. Riley knew it was a fake name, seeing as he knew no girl that had a name like that. Also, it just didn't seem to fit.

Ashe hid the bag behind her as the newcomer walked up to the group. She crossed her legs and started to scratch the ears of the dog near her. "Ashe," she said as far as introductions went.

Anna nodded "Anthony" She said "I am between jobs at the moment, and thought I'd crash out here." she gestured around. Indicating the warehouse district. “She lied openly, but it's not like she could say, -I'm a thief who can't afford to pay a monthly rent payment for a lousy apartment. – She patted her package absent mindedly and smiled. Her pale skin started to flush as she became warmer near the burning flames.

One of the dogs looked up as Anthony walked up to the fire. He got up from the floor, walked over to her, and started to sniff her and the bag. He was a large dog, almost wolfish in appearance, with a missing eye he had lost in a fight. Ashe had found him and took care of him until he could stand on his own again. Now he acts as her personal bodyguard. The newcomer's sent was wet, as was the package she was holding, but he still tried to see if either on meant harm to Ashe.
Ashe looked at Anthony wearily and asked. "Crash out here? The only ones who do that are thieves with no money in their pockets or beggers. And you don't look like a begger to me."She looked over at Riley and Jessica and cocked an eyebrow. Another thief that stalks this town. Don't she's affiliated with any one group. ((I may start swichting between the dogs and Ashe's pov. Depends on if the story is slow))
