I know math! Let's see, it's October 1, so...20 days 'till I'm officially no longer a teenager (20) and thus, 28 'till the concert!

And by then, my goatee will grow back n' both my ears will be pierced, and with a damn bit of luck, I'll have another "Kick a** Shirt of Doom." Dunno where the hell my last one went...

I've torn this house n' the apartment we were living at for a while apart looking for the damn thing. I've given up hope on that one; now I just want to upgrade Brandi's glasses and kill off the bills so I can, with any luck, afford a damn shirt. sad

Okay, so the concert...

IT KICKED a**!

They played a few I didn't know (From Black Halo and Epica) but I liked them, and I knew them, just not enough to know the words. Black Halo, you will be MINE!

Roy Khan is THE MAN when it comes to performances! He was selling it out there, being a total badass and just selling to the crowd. His movements were hypnotic, fitting each song so damn well. Youngblood ad Khan are amusing together...

I went there hoping for three songs, and I'd of left depressed if I didn't hear two of the three. I wanted: March of Mephisto (The Black Halo), Mourning Star (Ghost Opera) and Ghost Opera (Ghost Opera).

He started with Rule the World, as I knew he would given it's the "Rule the World Tour." Then, Pendulous Fall from Ghost Opera LE (I got it!) and Ghost Opera: The Second Coming (It's just Ghost Opera with Pendulous Fall and some live songs). Then Eden Echo from Ghost Opera. Beautiful. Then he went in to a ballad, then a song I can't remember. Then...GHOST OPERA! Amazing. Lots of solos from not just Youngblood, but the pianist and drummer too. Few more ballads, assload of songs...and it was getting late. The lights went out, and I figured they were done...'till I say two drummers in the corner of the stage in masks doing the drum intro I knew so well. Brandi will tell you; I about freakin' cried and lost my breath. The red lights lit up, and Youngblood n' the other guitarist burst in to the first Kamelot song I ever heard: March of Mephisto. Khan performed it like a freakin' Rock Opera, and they used Shagrath's voice in the background.

I left there in absolute awe and a nearly fractured right forearm from falling. A lot. Kamlot's concert kicked all the other's I've seen to the curb (Rob Zombie, Poison, Cinderella, Killers...well, they don't count. Brandon Flowers puked on the mic after the first song and it was canceled...) and I'm still in freakin' concert hangover mode.

All. Hail. KHAN!

RULE THE WORLD!

.....My jealousy....is unfathomable. I would hate you if I did not love you as a friend. stare

......Um yeah...so....Piko got an Xbox 360 ....because Fable 2 came out.

OH....MY ....GOD.

Now I know why my mother never let me play video games as I child. I get obsessed. .....I blame the shiny achievements and the ability to run around killing innocent civilians. ><

FABLE II IS AWESOME!

Just...don't eat anything but celery or drink. Anything. Drank 3 beers and now I'm about as rotund as John Goodman.

OH! And if you hold the far expression for too long, you s**t yourself! Nobody seems to appreciate that except my ******** up wife that also likes when I puke from belching too much! Nothing like realism in games...

LOL...Omfg I know.

*ahem*

I've gotten all the achievements so far but...I still have two quests to go until I've officially done everything the game has to offer. I blame the heavy real-estate prices.

Piko on the other hand is ranting about how he can't seem to get the achievement you get for sleeping with enough people at once because the game is biased against gays......'course this is really just him whining because I literally beat him at his own game.

I've had to restart the game twice, each time halfway in to the game. At first, I accidentally screwed myself over via UBER EVIL points and no Temple of Light. Second time, my brother needed to make room on the 360 so my profile was nuked. Now, I'm doing rather well, with no problems on real estate. But then again, I've never lost at Monopoly...

My brother's scored all of the achievements, so I just play for strict fun, which I must say, is doing wonders for me. Though I can usually only play on Monday nights for a couple of hours...eh. Not worth buying my own 360 over it.

Also, I'll be getting a scanner soon. Sorry, but I'm afraid I'll have to put all prior artwork to shame. Yes, I'm gloating, but I have damn good reason. I've completed only two pieces in several months, but I'm a perfectionist. If only I could do backgrounds worth a piss... ::sigh:: Anywho, I want someone to go with me in to the Art Business. Any takers, lemme know.

Currently working on first big comic-venture. Hoping it comes out well.

Sorry me and Piko have been M.I.A. lately. Holidays are a busy season for both of us and it doesn't help when I took on a few extra shifts and he flew back home for Christmas. He's back now and ready to post but for awhile there he was a little touchy.

In any case we both wanted to let you guys know that we will be gone for the next week taking a skiing trip in the eastern sierras. ( Well.. HE'LL be skiiing...I'll be working on my art and other works ) If we find a way to post you'll know it.

Skiing...I hate that world. Plural with two "i's" in a row. Bothers the hell out of me. Anywho, hope the two of you have fun with that...venture. I could do the same thing waiting for night to hit n' driving up a hill. Icy enough to fly down all I want! Suckers gotta pay for lodging...I can just go back home!

Hope both of ya had kick-a** holidays. Sorry Piko had to fly with how crappy pilots seem to be anymore. Swear to God I watch the news and there's at least three crashes per week. Formula needs to be: Monkey < Pilot

I think I ask too much of society...

Trip kicked a**. We all ended up skiing at a little ski...well not a resort but I'm sure what else to call them. I'm not so good and the snow was living up to it's nickname 'sierra cement' so I was freaking out the whole time. Piko was out doing the black diamond runs and learning how to snowboard....which was funny as hell to watch. My mom mostly spent her time on the intermediates.

We learned that I may have a tendon injury in my knee from LAST years skiing adventure in Park City Utah. Great story...tell you all about it later. In any case my ankle swelled up each day so we took it pretty easy. Mammoth (city AND ski resort) was the most expensive shopping place EVER. $6,000 dollars for a tacky coat had me and Piko wanting to throw paint. ( not to mention that chinchilla coat my mom found).

But all in all it was an awesome trip. And June Lake (the small town we stayed in) is beautiful in the winter. I got a lot of work done, finished a book, and beat Piko's a** at air-hockey. Piko spent most of his time reading, working on his column and watching the history channel, as well as hitting up the local bar. My mom has figured out she wants to retire there ( though she changes her mind a lot so who knows). Oh yeah and did I mention that I drove us all the way home and didn't crash. Quite a feat considering the fact that Piko was cowering in the back seat out of fear every time I went over seventy. HA!

Hope you and Fate are good and that your holidays were wonderful. More updates as they come. Oh yeah and, look forward to some major postage on my deviantart account. I've been a VERY busy girl. cool

What she forgets to tell you is that our house got egged....AGAIN. Which is sort of why we're up so late. We're taking turns listening and waiting to see if anyone comes back to try again. Seems they like to keep coming back on Sundays. I've got my anti-creep stick (wooden sword by the way). And Meg's got her dagger ....which...is actually QUITE imposing.

Yeah....

So how have YOU guys been? sweatdrop

Well I'm glad to hear much fun was had and I had to laugh hearing that Piko coward at your driving, though my brother does the same with my driving. Sorry to hear about the tendon problem, or possible problem...might wanna get that one looked at!

ALSO sorry to hear your place got egged, and while I completely back revenge I can't say using a weapon is a good idea, AT LEAST not a bladed one...just get a paint ball gun or even an airsoft and snipe the ********.

Our holidays kicked a**, though I'm late as hell to post this. I got an XBox 360 of my own and have access to XBox LIVE now so Call of Duty's much more fun and the expansion to Fable II gave me a lil' more to do. Brandi got the full Twilight Saga hardback (from me) and is almost done with the final book. She also got Okami, so she hogs my PS2 most of the time. Other then that, we sat around and munched candy canes.

....I got Okami for the Wii.

....................It obsesses me. <******** who egged our house never came back and I have yet to get my leg checked out...but we'll see about that sometime soon. In other news my birthday is coming up ( I'm gonna be TWENTY baby! ) and we had a scare with Luke's eye.

Seems my poor puppy got a scratch on his cornea and nearly lost his eye. He's all better now but it had us scared for awhile.

Oh yeah...and MOTH infestation.

....FUN. stare
