Tori couldn't sleep, so she got out of the tree and wondered back towards the catherdral

he shruged out of his jacket, takeing the meat out of his pockets as he did so, and whistled sharply.

she lept over his head, carfuly snatching a peace of meat from his hand and landing on the ground next to him. rolling her shoulders she looked around at the stone area they were in. it was bleak. a few written things here.. all in all boreing. she layed next to Arian and sighed, they had been traveling a long time agian. the wind danced over her fur and she shook her head. she had wanted to go into the town and people watch.. but Arian hadnt fed in a while.. people were safer when he was not hungry.

he laghed softly and sat next to her, playing with a rose as he petted her.
"can you imagine Terra? they opened the mirriors.. that means those little creatures will be out again doesnt it?" his expreasion turned distant and he murmerd to the rose. " wings of stolen color.. features of taken art. eyes of fallen star's, and manners like no other..." he sighed and layed his head back against the wall. " ill find it one day Terra.. i have to.." he had not found it in all these years... but he would never stop searching.

she noded, makeing an encourageing woofing sound. they had serched for it for so long... she didnt know what they would do after they found it. it had become their reason for going on. every time one of them fell sick, they thought of what they had to do and struggled onward.
she sighed and dozed lightly, her ears staying up so she could listen to Arian. she could feel his hungry already, it was getting dangeruse.. but if he did not worry, nether would she. he had wonderful restraint, he made sure no one ever got hurt when he fed. but still. she nudged him and growled a little.

he shook his head and smiled at her. "dont take that tone with me. your the one who said that last town was not worth stoping at. you can catch rabbits and eat, i have to wait till my prey of choice is near." he stood and looked around, noteing that no humans were near. he sighed, one was.. a young girl. he looked at Terra and saw her watching him. damn.. traped. he didnt have a choice but to eat, otherwise Terra would bother him forever. he took a low breath, then let out the call to the girl.
his voice was calm and steady, the young girl didnt have a chance. she came around the bend and walked to his side, tilting her head slightly back and watching him. he hated that look. it creeped him out. all the same though, he bent his head and drank his fill. only stoping when he was full and the girl was just a little shaky. he sealed the pinpricks at her neck, then gave her a small bow and sent her back to where she was. she would never know what had happend, nor would she know anything had happend at all. he sat down and looked at Terra. "happy now wolf?"

she noded and layed down again, curling up next to Arian and keeping her ears up to catch any threatening sounds. it looked as if they were bunking here for tonight. they would stay around this area for a bit, mabye a decade or two, then move on agian if the didnt find anything. she yawned and shook her head sleepily, Arians low voice was the last thing she heard before falling into an alert sleep.

Edward ran through the maze and got to the fountain faster then people would think possible. "Come on Mim. We have to go today."
