Cassandra: (slowly getting up) I am INEVITABLE! You cannot escape me and my predictions! You have to listen to me! You MUST listen to me! (laughs slightly, but then goes all frantic again) TROY WILL BURN!

Cassandra: I heard that, Artemis. And yes, I'm giving myself the liberty of not addressing you as "Lady Artemis, Divine Goddess of the Hunt and the Moon." You're probably going to try to kill me for that. Whatever. I have to stick around until Troy's doom to warn them and be a constant annoyance to everyone. Well, to me everyone is an annoyance because they won't listen to me and my predictions are right on. And now there's a new saying in Troy, "Don't be a Cassandra, always looking on the dark side of things." Well, virtually everyone who says that has no idea that my predictions of doom and disaster are right on the money. While, I'm at it, do you know how annoying it is to know everything and not be believed by anyone. It's horrible! Well, on the bright side, it's helped me develop a sense of sarcasm. But the only time I'm really sarcastic is when I'm talking to you gods. Anyway... ( At this point Cassandra rambles on, expecting to be hit by a lightning bolt sooner or later, but has a smirk on her face because she knows that she's alive at the fall of Troy so she can't die by a lightning bolt now.)

Artemis turns to look at her brother and gives him the dreaded puppy dog eyes.
Artemis: Apollo I know she has to be around till Troy falls but after that can I Pleasssssssssseeeeeeee kill her?
Athena watches her younger siblings with interest. It's well known that pretty much no one can say no to Artemis when she uses that face.

Artemis turns around and glares at Cassandra.
Artemis: You might can see the future but so can Apollo. I can also tell you that you aren't going to save Troy. Aunt Givanah said that in every single dimension you failed to save Troy.
She then turns back to her brother and continues to beg him to let her kill Cassandra again.

Oh, you mean those things that block out sound that are in great demand in Troy right now? The ones with the advertisements that say "Now you don't have to listen to our favorite princess screeching"? I've been trying to figure out what that ad was supposed to be about...

Artemis: Athena it's more fun to beg Apollo besides they're out of earplugs. In fact I'm going hunting and then going to visit Aunt Givanah possibly watch Persephone. Find me when the war is over Apollo.

Cassandra: Artemis, you're leaving? (pouts) But it was so fun annoying you! (suddenly smiles) I'm going to go warn Hector of his tragic death, then warn Achilles of his tragic death, and then warn Paris about his tragic death and when they all don't believe me and Achilles threatens to run me through with his spear I'm going to go back inside the city and try to tear Helen to shreds. Bye! (runs off) biggrin

Cassandra: (comes running back) Oh, yeah, I just remembered that Hector's already dead, Achilles is about to die in a few minutes, and Paris is going to be killed in... I'd say less than a month. So I'll be back annoying you for another eon or so, or at least until this extremely long battle scene is over.
Achilles (from a few yards away, with an arrow stuck in his heel): Ow!ow!ow!ow! Curse you, Paris! Curse you, stupid heel! Mommy, why couldn't you have held me by my ear or something? Who aims at an ear?! Noooo! *dies*
Cassandra: See? (starts doing the happy dance)
Artemis and Apollo: *join in, surprisingly*
Athena: Noooo! The greatest of the Greeks--killed! By the idiot who said Aphrodite was prettier than me! Grrr...
Cassandra: Haha! I told you so!
(Now Artemis, Apollo, and Cassandra have started a conga line, chanting "Ha! Ha1 Ha1 She told you so!" to the music that just mysteriously started playing from the Mount Olympus stereo)
Apollo and Artemis: Ha1 Ha1 Ha! She told you so! Ha! Ha! Ha-- wait, what? Why are we doing this again?
