"oh definitely!" he said, his uneasiness vanquished"my outfit cost an arm and a leg, but i don't mind! i have also got control of my powers, you wouldn't believe what happened a couple days ago though!" as they strolled through they got a few odd looks from passerby's, "go about your business" said takunta in commanding voice "so who were those people you were speaking with earlier?"

As Violet draged her to the shop, Bloom couldnt help but think, 'Oh dear God. This can not be good...' She looked at Violet, "I refuse to wear anything pink, or anything frilly!" she clarified as they began to look through the dresses.

"Well, if you'll be attending the ball and have the grace of Illusion here, perhaps I should repay you that arm and leg in kind." Moriarty said, smirking. He waved his hand that was not linked with Illusion's, and a disembodied arm and leg appeared in his hand. He offered them to Takunta. "Don't worry, I'm good for it."

"um, no thank you, could you put those away it is rather disturbing." said takunta looking a little pale "i was actually talking about money but thankyou for offering, maybe you should go give them back to whom you 'borrowed' them from"
as he walked away takunta whispered "does he always do that?"

Lus smiled, not knowing whether to laugh at Mor's cleverness, or feel sorry for Takuna as Mor had intentionally disturbed him. "Mor is like myself and is a mesmer. Illusionists to be exact." She looked at the horizon and saw the the sun was slowly setting. "Those I spoke to earlier would include the Princess of Fire and her court essentially. They'll be attending the ball tonight too, speaking of we should travel to the Castle of Draklor now or we'll be late. I'm not sure how the King or Queen would react to such impertinence." She went inside the shop and grabbed her dress, paying the leather maker handsomely again for the gift, then with her arm linked with Mor's walked towards the Air Tower that towered above the rest of the castle.
[exit to the Air Tower. If you don't know where it is look for the Castle and elemental towers subforum. We'll go to the tower and then to the ballroom or something like that]
((It just occurred to me that we don't really have courts do we? How could I have no noticed that before. Oh well.))

and so all three headed to the castle for the ball laughing, mor shaking the arm and shaking the hand with random shoppers who walked away mumbling about 'youth these days'

Violet stopped in front of an area that seemed to contain mostly darker colored dresses. Looking through a few, she spotted one that was a shimmery dark violet, almost the exact color of her hair. In the light, it took on the violet hues, and in the shadows it looked black. "Hey Bloom? What do you think of this?" She asked holding the fabric up to herself.
(( Oh yeah, we don't really have courts now do we? Maybe we should find and contact people asking if they wanna move up in ranks to join our courts x3 ))

Bloom looked to Violet, "PERFECT! That dress is just right for you!" Bloom searched through some of the other dresses. Her gaze fell upon a dark maroon dress with bejewled straps. It was so dark, that you could only see the maroon when it was in the light. She held it up to Violet, "What about this?"

Violet looked over at the dress Bloom had found. "It suits you perfectly." Glad to be done with finding what to wear, she walked over to the shop keeper and handed her the money for both dresses. 'Finally have some use for this stuff other than for weapons.' She thought as the lady took both dresses from her and Bloom to be boxed. "Well, now that that's taken care of, shall we head on over to the castle? I'm afraid Illusion wasn't that specific on when the ball was to begin."

As Jade entered the Merchant's Quarter, she noticed many of the people around were talking quietly among themselves very exuberantly. 'Wonder what all that's about...' Walking near a group of women, she picked up pieces of the conversation.
"...it's all just happening so fast you know? One minute everything's all fine and dandy, then the next we find our King and Queen are dead and all the royals from everywhere are at the castle!" Another woman quickly piped in with, "I just really hope they choose relatively fast. You know how I hate when things get stirred up near here..."
At that moment, Jade's focus drifted out of their conversation and back inside her own head. 'The King and Queen are dead? I wonder if this has anything to do with what they went to Atlantis for...' In that case, they wouldn't be bothering her anymore, so she didn't really care. Although who became King or Queen next, that was another story all together. 'Might as well head on over to the castle to see if I can get some input on this decision.'

Just outside of town, Ciel descended from the sky remaining out of sight and leaving a trail of sparkling dust but nothing for people to attribute it to. Following a large covered shipping cart, She entered through the city gates to the merchant quarter beyond. The streets were bustling with strange new faces everywhere crowding the streets. The stores and small shops looked amazing as Ciel moved through the street. She had no money and couldn't stop to visit a shop, so she just took solace in looking in from afar. She had no idea where to go or what to do. It wasn't clear to her why she had been drawn to this city. Ciel didn't actually like civilization, but she couldn't downplay the amazing sights around her.

Demeter walked through the crowded streets of the Merchant Quarters. She's never been in the are before, so she decided to look through and see the type of wares sold around here. Plus, she just wanted another part of the area to explore.
