"Kara, that is more of a reason for you to stay. Mim can protect you better then I can. This fight is for grown ups, and I don't think I can bare seeing you hurt."

Alice watched them, feeling a sudden dread in the pit of her stomach. She felt like having a panic attack, but calmed herself. "Please, Kara. Stay with Mim. Though, I'm surprised Mim has stayed as long as she has." Mim nodded in agreement. "You're right." Mim said, standing up. "Let's go."

Kara started to cry in protest and said at the top of her little lungs, "NO" Kara was shocked that she said the word but said it over and over again. "No no no no no no!!"

"Fine, take her and go, I will be there shortly. I have one thing I need to go do." ((And that is go eat dinner.))

Kara had the look of victory on her face and a wide smile. 'Momma and Quin will know where I am, they always do' Kara then settled in Mim's arms.

Zai, sitting in a small place that served as a bar in the smithy, waited for her customer. Around midnight, the man walked in. Dressed in a long black coat, she walked over to him and they left, going behind the building. Zai leaned against the wall, "The stuff is here, first, show me the cash." The man took it out, Zai then reached into her over-sized pockets of her tripp pants, taking out a few bags, handed them to the guy. "Gun, bomb, all there." They exchanged. Zai, turning and starting to walk off putting the cash in her pocket, heard one of the paper bags being opened, stopping, then the click of a gun followed. Turning around, he shot. Missing her head by less than an inch, he fired again, luckily, Zai only loaded one bullet before selling it to him. The man then grabbed her arm, thrashing her violently against the brick wall of the building. As she lay on the ground for that brief moment, he kicked her in the stomach, hard. Zai bit her lip to avoid making a sound, and saw the flash of a knife the man pulled out from his coat. Instantly, she stabbed her nails deep into his leg, and pulling out a small gun from her jacket shot him in the other leg. Falling to the ground, the poison was already taking effect obviously. Pulling herself up, Zai kicked him over, then saw on the back of his coat was a red cross. She fired the gun again, killing him instantly. Reaching down and taking back what she delt him, Zai heard voices and realized that there was no way she could both get away and move him. So, stumbling, she fled the scene.
