Kokujo was thankful to be on dry land again. He wasn't too surprised that the mysterious captain was Kaikishi, having figured it out from the clues during the battle, though he was curious as to why he was still alive. "....hmf, if we did not try to stop you, it wouldn't have mattered anyway. You went into something without knowing the dangers involved, blindly following Grenzenlos....then you have the nerve to blame us for your own foolish misjudgment....I'm surprised you were allowed to keep your rank..." Kokujo said scornfully, never one for tact.

*he turns to Kokujo, pointing his sword at him* You are wrong. I knew the dangers, I was willing to sacrifice my life for my king...but I accomplished nothing. What's more, my loyal men who volunteered to help me....despite my objections....died in vain. Don't lecture me, you know-it-all.
Even though I survived through my force of will and hospitalization, I resented all of you because you suffered absolutely no loss. In addition to my men's deaths, I must endure life with this shredded body. I was out of service until just a few weeks ago, then you lot showed up. Can you imagine my rage?!
*he turns his attention towards Kyla* But, that aside....Seiryu-dono changed over the course of a month or so. I do not know what prompted it, but he became more and more violent and irrational every day. No amount of magic or healing made any difference. *Umika frowns* Kaikishi is usually very calm, but today's quite the exception.
*she nods towards Viral, returning the greeting*

Kokujo frowned back at Kaikishi. "...Tch....It's not our fault that your men were weaklings. Open your eyes and face the facts, blaming us is just a sorry excuse for your own failings..." Kokujo replied coldly.
He turned back to Umika. He didn't have any great interest in helping with the situation, but figured it may be required to get what they came for.

*Kyla refrains from arguing with Kaikishi. Despite their own troubles at the hands of G.R.A.S.P., including her own imprisonment and torture, she decides it's more important to have Kaikishi's help than to argue over what happened in the past. She turns to Umika*
We're here because of a being called Yokoshima. He is a very powerful evil, and he is currently hiding in a place that is inaccessable to us. If left undefeated, Yokoshima is capable of nearly anything. On a mere whim he could create genocide and massive distruction. We have found a way to travel to where Yokoshima is, and face him. However, it involves collecting several treasures in various temples. That is why we must speak to your father. If he can help us in our quest, the whole world will be rid of a massive and very unstable evil.

I see. If you wish to speak to my father, by all means do so. However be warned that the dungeon below has various traps to prevent intruders from reaching the bottom. Plus, there is no guarantee that talking with him will do any good. If you wish to proceed, Kaikishi will escort you. *Kaikishi puts his armor back on and sighs*
I don't forgive you, but what my grudge will have to wait. For the sake of Umika-dono, I shall cooperate with you.
*Kaikishi knows what Kokujo says is true, but it's difficult to accept. Plus there are bigger things to worry about than his grudge. Plus he has nothing against Shinnen, and his friendliness reminds him that he may be being a bit stubborn*
*he walks over to the right side of the throne room, and pulls a hidden lever, opening the pathway to the dungeion*You may proceed whenever you wish. I hope it goes well for you. Save Point! Heya guys, wanna go home and rest for now?
