As she mulled over what to do next, Orika opened the eye that Tanu wasn't working on and tried to get a better look at the girls who were already starting to work on hair. She sat an odd angle so Orika had to crane her neck slightly to get a decent view of Serena's lashes. She noticed that the eyelashes weren't any longer, just thicker, although the girl would probably look interesting with extended lashes. Also, the color looked just a little darker than Hanabira's lighter hair. When Tanu was done, Orika didn't even worry about how she looked before she reached inside the trusty make up kit. They were getting acquainted rather quickly. She pulled out various doohickeys until her eye caught a word Orika could have sworn she heard Kumiko say. Mascara. The item was cased inside a cobalt blue cylinder. Orika twisted the cap off and was greeted by a small, prickly brush. She tested the contraption on her finger and found it in good working order. Now, what? After a few more minutes of staring blankly at the brush, Orika decided to wing it. She could screw everything up, but she could also gain valuable knowledge about experimenting. Yeah, right. The girl just didn't want to get left behind any further. Orika dipped and lifted the brush to her face, then gently rubbed a little of the moist compound onto her lashes. It tickled so a short giggle slipped out of Orika's mouth. "Does that look nice?" she asked, to nobody in particular.

"Was it like this?..or maybe this way?" Serena pondered to herself as she twirled her hair a few ways. "Maybe if I used some pins, it would help... She picked up one or two bobby pins and examined them to see if they would work. Hoping to test them out, she flipped her hair up and just tried to stick the pins in. Of course, they fell out. Her next idea was to start off with one of those normal buns, the kind that people could just easily pull up in a few seconds. After that she could pin it in? The Raiken definitely knew how to do those simple buns, and immediately pulled her hair into one. It hung loosely on her head and she began to pin the loose hairs in. At first, the bun seemed to stay in shape, but the second she moved her head, the pins fell out again the the hair hung loosely around the bun. "Agh, forget this way..I'll think of some other way.." She told herself as she pulled the elastic band out and redid her nice ponytail. How should she make a bun? 'This would be a lot easier if I had a picture..

(I use to do well with the time sensitive thing, but I guess I started doing something different and I keep throwing myself off. stare And that sounds good, and I’m probably as lost in the make-up world as Akiko…well not that lost but let’s just say I normally stick with lip gloss. At any rate tell me if you think Akiko color choice seems okay.)
“It’s Nice to meet you Naoki.” Akiko said as she let a smile cross her face, she hoped she wasn’t making her nervous. The young girl's smile slowly began to fade as Naoki placed the make-up on the table and asked her question. “Umm,” She started, her brain trying to process what the colors would look like on her face. Just imaging the site seemed somewhat odd, but it also seemed like something that the white haired girl could adjust to. A small smile crossed her lips as she remembered that the foundation was on her face and she adjusted to that quickly, so this powder on the eyes shouldn’t be to hard to deal with. “To be honest I have no idea. I haven’t really dealt with this stuff before today. But I’m sure whatever you choose will be fine.” She said trying to reassure Naoki.
“For you…” The Ibazi trailed off as she eyed and shuffled though the variety of colors in the kit. She had an idea of what she could do it sounded weird but it might work. “What do you think if…” She trailed off again looking at the colors once more then at Naoki’s face and eyes “Your eyes are very pretty by the way.” The girl said looking at the emerald green once more before she looked back at her choice of colors and presented them on the table. “How do you feel about using a dark smoky brown as the base, and then using burgundy or a darker red as the main focus?” She stared at the different reds on the desk in front of her; it all seemed bold, though the smoky brown may tone it down. Though the teacher did say bold, at least that’s what Akiko thought she picked up. Staring into the kit's contents the white clothed girl grabbed the closest green that she could find to Naoki’s eyes. She used it to make a decent sized circle on her test hand; she planned to give herself an example of what she was going to try to attempted, and that’s what she did, it didn’t look great but not bad. “Maybe I should use a bright red, but maybe that’s too bold…I could use a light blue instead, if you think it would be more subtle. I think green and blue are pretty together, and so are blue and brown. Maybe a nice sky blue or ice blue would be better for you?” She voiced all the while keeping her hands busy with examples as she said it, no matter the color choice was chosen in the end she would still keep with the silver shimmer. “And I think this will make your eyes shine brighter then they already are.” Akiko complemented and hinting that she planned on using it for sure.

"Ok, what if I did...this. Ah, I think I'm getting it now!" Serena twisted her hair around the ponytail holder so it formed a round donut shaped thing. She continued to twirl it round and round until all of her hair was up in the donut. It looked almost like the bun she wanted to do, but how would it hold? The Raiken grabbed another ponytail holder and bound it around her bun. It held only for a few seconds, though..a lot of hairs came loose and fell through the middle. "grr..maybe I need to do something else to this bun to get it to stay." Again she pulled the second ponytail holder out and looked at the stuff she was given..maybe bobby pins could really help this time.

Looking at the different colors Akiko layed out, Naoki pushed the dark brown, the burgundy, and a sandy brown forward. "I think these work..." she whispered. "With the silver as a highlight?"
After trying to help her partner, Naoki's fingers found the handle of a brush. Pulling it out, she smiled slightly when she saw that it was just the right size to use with the powder. She picked up the lightest blue, and she asked her partner to close her eyes. Then with careful strokes of the brush, she applied the pale blue over Akiko's eyelids. Once satisfied with the color, she picked up the pearl-like color and applied it lightly just under her eyebrows and the inside curve of her eyes' socket. Naoki carefully screwed the lids back on to the colors she had already used before picking up and unscrewing the sapphire blue. Dipping her brush in it, she frowned at the amount on the bristles, and brushed some of it off on her hand before applying it just in the crease of Akiko's eyes. For the first time, she used her fingertips to make sure the blue blended in perfectly, Naoki being a little bit of a perfectionist. The last step was the brown, applied from the root of the other girl's eyelashes and up towards the crease. Leaning back, Naoki nodded in satsifaction, happy with how her work turned out. She then sat still so Akiko could do what she needed to do.

“Yea the silver glitter would be the highlight.” Akiko spoke as she put away the colors she wouldn’t need and placed the kit to the side, grabbing some brushes as she did so. She slowly turned back toward Naoki and it looked as if she was ready to start. Her small observation was confirmed when her partner asked her to close her eyes, the widow peeked girl swiftly did as she was told. It felt weird as the brush danced across the skin of her eye lids; the feeling urged Akiko to rub at her eyes to stop odd sensation, but she did her best to ignore it and keep her hands on her on her lap.
After a few minutes of stillness from Naoki, Akiko peeked out of one of her eyes to see if her green eyed partner was done. Seeing that she was the light haired girl grab one of the colors, the burgundy since it stood out against the others. “Okay, so this goes from lightest to darkest?” The quietly speaking Akiko asked herself as she opened the top of her current color. Asking her partner to close her eyes Akiko guided the brush across the surface of the burgundy powder. “This goes in the middle right?” She asked her self as she carefully and gracefully brushed the color over the other girl’s eyelids. “Okay I’ll do the dark brown next.” She told herself as she grabbed the brown and put aside the burgundy as she did so. Repeating her previous step she made the brush dance from the bottom of her partner’s eye lid to the crease, that’s what it felt like Naoki did at anyway. “Okay now this sandy brown.” Repeating the step once more the young girl carefully brushed the lighter brown under the other girls brow and the inside curve of the eyes. “Okay one more thing.” The girl voiced to the still girl in front of her, she was letting her know she was almost done. Akiko opened the simmer and glided the brush across the gleaming surface, before she brushed it under the brow she tapped some of the glitter off. Grabbing a new and smaller brush she used it to make sure the layers blended smoothly. “Okay, I’m done.” Akiko said with a breath of relief putting away the stuff as she did so. Grabbing her cloth she whipped away the make-up that she had on her hand and wondered what was next.

Naoki opened her eyes and smiled shyly at her partner. However, when she tried to remember what the next step was, her mind blanked. She still wasn't feeling very well, and her thought process was a little muddled. What was next? They had done their skin, and their eyes... What was she missing? Her nose wrinkled in thought, though thankfully not ruining their work.

The powder in the room from all the girls applying make-up finally got to the little girl's sensitive nose. One minute, she took a breath, the next she was letting out a sneeze that seemed way too loud for such a small body. Sniffing, Naoki blushed in embarressment, though she thanked her ancestors it had been a dry sneeze, so she didn't need a tissue. She did have to shake her head to clear her head of the stuffiness that followed such a loud sneeze. Tucking stray strands of her hair behind her ears, she began to sort through the make-up kit to figure out what she was forgetting, while hoping she didn't attract anymore attention.

(Yoshmi, you spread the dice hating to me... >.<)
Sighing in annoyance, Naoki wished she had gone to the clinic for some medicine before she came here. Maybe her head would leave her alone if she had. As it was, she had to pause in her search to let the throbbing remaining from her sneeze to pass. Reaching back, she loosened the ribbon holding her hair back so that the hair wasn't being pulled as taut. It helped ease the throbbing, making her sigh in relief.

Feeling like hitting her forhead at her foolishness, Naoki finally remembered what was next. They had to color in their lips and blacken their eyelashes. Digging through the make-up kit again, she found several different colored liners for lips. Frowning, she spread them out in front of the kit, trying to decide which would suite Akiko better. There were several reds, a handful of pinks, and a few others that were closer to the brown range. As she looked through them, Naoki felt her temples throb. This just wasn't her day...

With a frown on her face, Naoki picked up a liner that was pink with a brownish tone to it. She thought it would suit the other girl. However, her clumsiness chose then to appear. Accidentally, she ended up knocking over many of the liners. The student scrambled to catch them, but failed. Sighing in annoyance at herself, she knelt down and picked them up, hoping she didn't break any of them... That would be a nightmare.

Annoyed at herself, Naoki put away the other liners, then dug around for the last piece of make-up needed. Surely it wouldn't be too difficult... True enough, she found the tube of black liquid. Now for a small comb... There. Once she had everything collected, she nibbled on her lower lip in thought. That black liquid could stain poor Akiko's face to the point she would have to reaply most of her foundation to fix it. Rather than risk it, Naoki searched for a sponge or cloth to set under the girl's eyelashes till the cosmetic dried.

She barely resisted the urge rub her hand over her face in frustration. There wasn't another sponge in her kit. The shy girl would have to walk to the front of the classroom to fetch another. Ducking her head down, she carefully stood and whispered to Akiko, "I'll be right back..." Naoki took a deep breath, then hurried to the front of the room, snagged a couple of the small sponges, and returned to her seat with a relieved sigh. She hated putting herself in a position where someone could notice her.

Picking up the liner, Naoki carefully removed the cap. She rubbed a little of the cosmetic on her finger to be sure of the color, only to frown softly. It was a little too dark, she thought, for the other girl's complection. Setting it down, she reached into the make-up kit and searched for another that was more pink and less brown. It took her a couple of comparisons, but she finally found a color that she thought worked better. Now hopefully she could hold her hands steady... It would awful if she slipped and drew a line across the other girl's face.

(*falls over from relief at finally rolling a high enough number*)
Taking a deep breath to steady her nerves, Naoki adjusted her grip on the pencil liner, then carefully pressed to Akiko's lips. Very, very carefully she traced the other girl's upper lip first, adjusting her hold again before continuing on to the lower lip. She breathed a sigh of relief when she finished lining them, then set to the easer task of filling them in. It wasn't long before she put the lid back on the liner with a soft sigh in satisfaction. Now for the scary part... Naoki dipped the very small, fine comb into the black gel-like cosmetic, then carefully ran it over Akiko's eyelashes, doing it a couple more times on the upper than the lower. Before switching from one eye to the next, she set the sponge down so when the other girl blinked, the black smudged on the sponge instead till it finished drying. Once satisfied with her work, the Uchiha smiled at her peer, tilting her head to the side as she waited for the other girl to finish.
