Maryl's thought track stopped. She hadn't thought about a magical aura at the time. Usually things like that occur naturally to her, she wouldn't have had to actively seek out if the golem had an aura like an active spell cast upon it. She scratched her head, sort of embarassed that she didn't notice something earlier. "It... didn't have one. I would have felt this if it were the case." In her embarassment she thought of something. "It could have been motivated by an elemental spirit."

Kel paused. He half glared at Maryl, "You're telling me that thing was an elemental?" His demeanor returned to the thought process, "Actually that's not unlikely. Elemental golems don't have to be summoned, and therefore don't dismiss when their handler dies. Instead, they go... berserk..." Kel turned his head and jumped up into the stands.
Seth looked up at Kel, sensing his revelation. "Dad?"
"Yeah, he's definitely not dead. If he died, his golem's spiritual seal would have released and it would have gone on a rampage destroying anything in it's path until it were destroyed or brought under control by someone else. The latter would be nigh impossible if the golem's seal was tied directly to it's master's life." Kel looked around rapidly. He didn't spot any further damage to the arena from where he was. "In the unlikely event that the thing didn't viciously attack and kill the girls, it would have torn a messy wreck of a path out of the arena. This place isn't even fully recovered from the fight yesterday, the Golem would have brought down the building..."
Seth could still hear her father's muttering even from the arena floor. She threw up her hands and shook her head in frustration again. "So what now, what does this all mean?"
"It means you're not done yet. Your quarry is still on the loose." Kel jumped down to the arena floor, landing next to Maryl. "Tough to say whether he planned this or not. He probably got lucky when he survived the blast. If his minion is intelligent enough, it won't just stand over him and wait for him to die from severe burns. If this is the case, they're long gone by now, and if he's conscious, he'll be hard at work plotting to kickstart the war and get revenge on the two of you."

Fuka listened from the shadows. He was in the main arena, as close as he could get to the walls. The shadow it casted, even in the dark, from the stars, would protect at least his visual presence. He always had his elemental presence hidden for more than one purpose. Don't want some people to find me anyways. He thought to himself. He just listened. Blackmail was always a good, sur-fire way to get a job from someone.

Maryl's lip quivered. She was terrified at the thought of having to fight that monster again, moreso at the thought that he would come after them. She reflected upon the previous day, unsure if they even should have made sure to find Hrothgar's remains. It was only recently revealed that he was infact still alive but even if she had this information beforehand she may not have liked how the fight would turn out. Still she sank to her knees and her rear, worried.
Pi fluttered a bit, still hanging onto Maryl's hat. It turned and squaked at Kel, having no idea what he had just said but being fairly certain that it was responsible for Maryl's Admonition.

Seth noticed Maryl grow weak in the knees frown in fear. She looked at Kel again as she gestured to Maryl. "Dad, watch it. This is the same guy that terrorized us for a few hours just yesterday."
Kel scratched his head. "Heh, sorry about that. But hey, this is why we're going to the Earth nation right?"
"They'll probably be on high alert by now. We did almost kill a baron." Seth folded her arms and sighed, looking up at the sky. "It may be too late to avoid the war now."
"Well that may be, but I honestly doubt that mutton head knuckle dragger was the only conspirator in all of this. Many nobles stand to gain from the prospects of warfare. Land, slaves, the extermination of dissent, these are all tempting prizes to the man who already has it all. I'll bet old king vampire has a hand in it too."

Maryl tilted her head. She thought she felt something faint nearby. She slowly stood up and cringed a bit. "I... I... think we're being watched. Lets just go." She was visibly shaking at this point.

Kel sniffed again. "No kidding... Ok, come on kiddies. This tour is over." Kel lightly shoved Seth and Maryl together, pushing them toward the ground exit.
"Dad, what's..." Seth paused. She looked back around Kel glancing toward the wall. She glared once getting a good long look back before turning her focus to the exit.
"It's nothing, Maryl's just getting cold feet." He picked up Maryl, moving her around to his back. "Let's just get there while there's still daylight to burn."
"Okay..." Seth shrugged. Dad, you're acting weird...
Kel jumped up and took off flying into the air simply heading south. Seth jumped up and followed suit.

Fuka smiled, Earth against Wind huh? Good tid-bit of information to have... He then thought of the Fire/Water Pact that was forming. That would make a two on one on one war... that would be interesting... He smiled. He knew his next destination... A fire or water nation barracks... He slowly sank into the ground and disappeared from sight.

Fuka rose out of the ground on the other side of the arena he was at last time he came. He had a smile on his face. An emotion that he rarely expressed. He seemed to be satisfied with his chaotic appearance and disappearance and stayed waiting. He got lucky that there was an Wind, Fire, and Water Elementist there. He didn't want to go to Earth anyways, so he got what he wanted in one swoop instead of three. Luck was on my side, like it usually is He leaned up against the wall and waited for someone to come and look for him.

Fuka felt one of his strings inside his midn being tugged. The Fire Nation was under attack. This can improve my relations with water and fire. He didn't care if he was going to be here or not. He had to go help his new employer. He sunk into the ground and was gone.

Cecil arrived at the magnificent structure that stood before him and entered.. It was closed so it was outstandingly quiet.. This seems like a reasonable place to gather my thoughts, he thought to himself and then opened the main door.

Suddenly in the middle of the arena Lilith appeared coming out of the ground. Her reddish brown hair was splayed out everywhere while her eyes were practically glowing red. "STOP IT!" she screamed trying to get herself under control. It hadn't been this bad in a long time... the niceness she had to put up with had rubbed off on her. 'Why couldn't I just kill her? Why?' Hot tears began running down her face as she fell to her knees putting her face in her hands. 'I've gotten weak.... I need to prepare myself...' She sat there whimpering some but after a few minutes began to regain her composure. She removed her hands from her tear-stained face and looked around her. No one seemed to be there which she was thankful for. Her eyes had still not fully returned to their hazel color but it was no longer as strong as it had been in color, it had faded and was now a dark red, looking from a distance to be just normal brown eyes.

Kel dragged himself into the arena, looking around the stands and the overhang as he approached the center. The building was completely recovered, but the memories probably had not waned. He felt a little foolish, wandering into the arena armed, but considering that war was on the horizon this should be the quietest of places.

Cecil looked into one of the arena's and he saw a woman who seemed to be having a mental breakdown. He approached the girl slowly and asked, "Hello, who might you be?" He still retained his distance, so she could not get a clear view of him while he is under his cloak... and of course to avoid any unecessary surprises..

Lilith looked at the guy who was suddenly near her. She couldn't tell who he was with his cloak on, but right now she didn't really care. She had still not fully recovered from her emotional breakdown which was bad news for him. "I'm sorry you came here." She said with practically no emotion, and once again, her eyes began to fill with a bright red color. "Because now I'll have to kill you." Anger suddenly filled her. 'I won't be weak this time... I'll kill him.' She then stood up off the ground and charged full force towards the poor man with her dagger.
