Around 3 years.
What model bass do you have?
60s Re-issue Fender Jazz bass, Ibanez EBD 400.
Preferred method of playing?
Fingers, Slap, Tapping. No picks.
Personal Influences?
Rage Against The Machine
Favored Bassist/Idol Bassist?

How long have you been playing?
i havent been playing for more than 6 monthes but i dont have lessons yet so i have the experience of a 1 month old bassist...i do play other string instruments so it is slightly easier to learn
What model bass do you have?
fender squier precision somethin something etc. etc.
Preferred method of playing?
finger...trying to figure out slap..unsuccessfully

John Paul Jones wasnt exactly a soloist but i have edited led zeppelin songs to play only the bass and he kicks some serious butt..

is it rare for a bassist to use a pick?? im not sure and i have heard both yes and no as answers...

One Month since I managed to make something sound not like crap, I don't have a teacher so it's a bit more difficult to learn.

What model bass do you have? Fender Reggie Hamilton Jazz(Mexican) and an Ibanez SR506
Preferred method of playing? Fingers, but I change stylistically to fit any musical situation

Only a few weeks, only just started

Stagg BC-300 Fusion Bass

I haven't been playing for long, so I havent really developed my own style and found out what works best for me. I'm currently playing with a pick.

I have very eclectic tastes in music, so its hard to pin exactly where my main influences come from.

It's a johnson....Something. Dunno, it looks like the fender strat.
