I thought I had outgrown them and dropped them altogether for ten years, but they drew me right back in. Try a different title, maybe Birds of Prey or even a Marvel title?

Kyle_Rayner Well, with issue #180, Random's 12 year long run of buying Green Lantern is over. I will never buy another issue again. Im currently figuring a way to tell this to DC without the letter being Rated "R." Is it really that bad? I haven't had a chance to get to the comic book store this week (I know, I know..).

I'm just still upset that they're bringing Hal back.

Hmm, the tower is deserted.... twisted
*Starts to rummage through everybody's room.*
KYLE'S ROOM:
Cracker jacks? So that's where he gets those rings!
CLARK'S ROOM:
What's with all of the nachos? *Samples a bag* Mmm, Electric Nachos!
WALLY'S ROOM:
Jeez! There must be 50 cases of Red Bull in here! This guy has a bigger sugar fetish than I do!
DINAH'S ROOM:
Fishnets, fish hooks.., fish bait??? Whoah! eek Captain Ahab's got nothing on this chick!
BRUCE'S ROOM:
Dear Diary, I can't get over my feelings for Catwoman. They grow stronger with each passing moment. *Tucks book away* I wanna hang onto this.
KARA'S ROOM:
*Picks up book.* How to clone yourself and take over the world. *Shrugs* At least that explains all of those Supergirl's I've been seing lately.

Im extra sad theyre getting rid of Kyle to bring back Hal. Im super-triple sad they couldnt come up with a better way to write Kyle out other than stuffing his mom in the oven. What, are they trying to give him kitchen-phobia, so he slowly starves to death, and the Guardians appoint Hal in his place? Im guessing Kyle flips out, and he volunteers to become the Spectre, who conviently popped up just in time to stop his slaughter of Major Force. Hal is redeemed, Kyle gets his vengence, I pop a vain and stop reading GL forever.

I dont know what DC is pulling, but Im done. I cancelled my hold list today. The entire thing. Here's what happened.
Went by the comic shop before work, and grabbed my stuff. Green Lantern, Batman, Flash, Superman, Spider-Man, and Transformers G1. I sat out in the car with the windows down, and a nice breeze blowing reading my comics.
Green Lantern: Do I even need to say it?
Spider-Man: What? Gwen's kids? Peter is not the father? These kids are full grown? Pete is not but around 24 MAYBE. And MJ knows who the father is? WTF?
Superman: Superman is acting without thinking, holding himself above others, making references to himself as a god, and asking the JLA for exemption for his actions, which they grant? Is Batman asleep? Superman is the person you watch closest to go rogue. And he NEVER acts without thinking. Azarello has let me down.
Batman: Forget earlier where he just ignores Superman's actions. He walks out of a school in broad daylight, in front of a hundred news cameras. Why didnt he let Tim carry Darla out, Tim was out of costume of course. One of Bats' biggest draws for me was that nobody knew if he was real or not, or if he was human if he did exist. Now theyve thrown that out the window.
Flash: This is tying in with Identity Crisis, which I already hate. They have Wally inadverdantly hurting people, and now theyre about to drag Barry's name through the mud? Barry is a hero. Barry is a DEAD hero. Now this? Of all the people who went down in the Crisis, Barry really stuck out in my mind. He had a wonderful career, and they are doing this to him? And whats with Wally having the costume in a ring?
Transformers G1: This comic and Energon are the only comics that are actually half decent. Maybe Ill pick em up now and then, when the covers catch my eyes.
I went through this with Marvel in the late 90s, they were ruining my heroes, now DC has done the same.
