Fallon raised a hand in indifference as he trotted off. Well. The boy wasn't telling the truth. He had never met someone who could dissolve into smoke. He could pull the trick on someone who wasn't special. Fallon stumbled a couple of times and cursed his eyes. His pride had kept him from glasses. And he didn't want to deal with the hazards of contact lenses.

Magus had made his way back to Callie once the man was no longer a threat. "Got my wallet back" He said lifting it up. He slipped it back into the back left pocket. "So anything exciting happen while I was gone?"He asked. He had small bruises on his neck where the man had grabbed it.

Callie straightened up along the wall she was leaning against. "Why would there be? That was the most amusing thing I've seen in my entire life. That Gifted had guts."

"How are you sure he was a gifted? He didn't use any powers during our little quarrel back there." He asked her. Why on earth he was protecting the kid he had no idea, but it was to late to go back now.

Callie laughed and shrugged. He already knew about the regeneration so she might as well tell him. She tapped her nose. "This told me. Gifted have something like an oder about them. Why I can pick it up, I don't know. It is probably from working on them in the labs for so long." She smirked with another shrug. 'Or it could be that because the original Gifted were made with my genetic coding. I can sense what came from me.'

He nodded."Dang, if I would've known that, I would have sedated him for capture."He said. He was just about ready to go home, but he would have to wait about another hour.

Caligdula rolled her eyes. "You did. I told you he was Gifted just before you gave chase." She started off for the headquarters again.

Caligdula sighed. "If I was merely insulting him I would leave the 'Gifted' out of 'Gifted dumpster scum' now wouldn't I? I will excuse this once because you didn't know and you were robbed. Looks like he tried to flush your sinuses too. Any firmer grip and you would have fainted." She gave him a fake looking concerned smile. "Are you sure you are ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine." He said. He tried to stay away from the hospital as much as possible. Just as easily as they could take your blood, they could sedate, and/or kill you. At least that is how he saw it.

Caligdula thought out loud. "I think he had some sort of medical training to know about that trick. Not many know it. Get any tracking information on him. Something to use?"
