Miko smiled at her. Do me a favor. Think about HQ for a moment. He closed his eyes, concentrating. Archer, hard right.
Elwood riased an eyebrwo at his telepathic friend. "Maybe you've forgotten about the tanks..."
Miko opened his eyes. Emotionless as ever, everyone's voices flowed through their minds. This ought be interesting then.

HQ was in the center of town.It was the tallest building around, it was a miracle they didn't know where it was.So she did as she was told just trying to not get killed."You think you could try not getting us blown up?"She asked hearing the word tank.
Raiden had been reading Miko's mind the whole time and so he headed for the tanks taking every shortcut he knew of.

Ana leaped over the first tank in her way. "What the crap?" She didn't know the agency deployed tanks, but it didn't slow her down much. She started skirting around the tanks relatively unnoticed. She was small, so it was easy. She put small, but deadly explosives in the niches in the tanks' armor.

Down in the sewers, hiding in a narrow, undisturbed passage was a pile of metal. In the metal a small light flickered:
Loading.... complete
Operational Systems.... online
Proximity alert..... triggered
A.I. Death activating...
..
...
.....
....... Complete.... fixing problem...
3 lifeforms appraoching...
Calculating solution.......
Termination calculated.... now commencing.
A metallic figure stood up from the pile of metal, surprising 3 Gifted men who were searching the tunnels for agent hiding places. "Tresspassing my proximity is a crime in my programming punishable by execution" his hand shifted into his arm and a handgun came out, firing shots quickly into their heads. "execution... complete"

Pushing open the door to the house she shut it quickly behind her and locked it. She wasn't taking any chances , not today. Taking her shoes off before heading into the lving room , she plopped down onto the floor with a sigh

This ought be interesting then.Archer knew that Miko knew excatly where to go. She grabbed onto his mind as he projected his thoughts as she had done countless times before. She let her head close off and her arms do the talking. She swerved right, hard, but miscalculated by inches. They Shifted through the wall. Ruth's stomach began protesting again, but she managed to stop herself from serving up yesterday's-dinner-special again. There was a car behind as they swerved. Ruth had been blocking the driver's sight with a frozen mist, and he crashed right into the wall. Archer drove on, full pelt. "Oh. It wasn't a mental typo. We've got tanks, everybody!" Damn! thought Ruth. Not more fighting!

Ana was already on it. One by one the tanks began to implode. She made sure they wouldn't explode because that would harm innocents. It was very hard to make a tank implode, but Ana managed to take out many of them with her explosives. The only one left now was the tank in the lead which she was riding on. She had the explosive on this tank set to a switch. When she was bored of riding, the tank was going bye-bye.

There was almost a ring of a smile in the next thought that issued through their heads. Not anymore. Miko sent a quick though of thanks to whoever could hear him. HQ should be...
Elwood pointed out the window. "Right there." Sure enough, HQ loomed over them, casting a huge shadow over the land around it. "All in favor of shooting first and asking questions later?"

Raiden arrived in time to see the last few tanks implode.He saw Ana on the last one but didn't recognize her 20 year old body.He connected to her."Need any help?" he asked.Meanwhile scraping her mind to see if she was good or bad.The most recent memories came up first.So he knew it was her quickly.'What the heck is going on?'He thought to her.

Ana sighed as she leaned back against the tank chasing the car. She wasn't a natural telepath, so she had to be relax to feel comfortable with it. She relaxed surprising easily despite the fact that she was riding on the side of a tank chasing down a car. 'The Beast is on the hunt. My prey is in the car. The agent is marked. Thought I would have some fun while I was at it. I have no car, so I hijacked myself a tank. That is much better than a car any day.'

'Just realize that my family's in there and don't hurt any of them.Do what ever you want to the agent though, I could care less.Heck I had a little fun with one earlier myself.'He said.He sighed and connected to Archer.'Archer.Why are you heading towards HQ? If someone was captured you know we are supposed to attack with out a plan.'He said.He wasn't scolding her, he was training her.With her powers, if she were to get the intellectual power to match she'd be unstoppable.

The machine looked around the sewers a bit more before finding a ladder leading up to a manhole "source of entry/exit located, now accessing.." It climbed up the ladder and when it got to the lid, he simply pushed it off and got up onto the street. "scanning area.. all familiar landmarks have been erased and replaced with buildings.. humans have made it here during my slumber it seems.. their city has expanded and erased the forest cave system i fell asleep in" He then heard sounds not too far "explosives... no.. implosions. Time to investigate.." its eyes flashed red before it began walking towards the source of the sounds.

The machine stpped out into the street ahead of the car and the tank "source of disturbance located, attempting to analyze and correct.." he scanned the tank and saw someone on it "attacking.." he planted his feet into the ground and his chest plates opened up, revealing a small cannon barrel that lengthened "pwnage cannon, charging.."

"Sleep well," Mercav said as he watched Desruc disappear into his bedroom.
Clare yawned. She had been completely unaware of just how tired she was. Watching Desruc retire, however, seemed to reminder her of this fact. She yawned and rose to her feet, "I'm going to bed as well, Mercav." She walked over to the guest bedroom and paused in the doorway, "And I swear Mercav, if you put a single toe out of line while I'm asleep, you will rue the day."
"I'll rue the day...what?"
"I don't know! You'll just rue the day! That's all! If you can't behave..." She pulled what appeared to be a small tombstone made of stone out of her pocket and held it out in front of Mercav's face.
"You wouldn't."
"I would. Good night, Mercav." With that, she tucked the tombstone back into her pocket and entered the room, closing the door silently behind her.
As soon as the door shut, Mercav whipped around and entered back into the living room. Desruc had to be hiding something. After all, EVERYbody is hiding SOMEthing...
