At solo and ensemble, the guy that judged me said I had unbelievably good tone quality, and the HS BD told my dad he was really looking foreward to having me in his band/guard in HS. ^_^

Not very long. Maybe about a minute, 'cuz my horn has this really weird problem where I have to pull all the tuning slides all the way out and stick my hand really far in the bell for it to be tuned right. oO;;;

I use gun grease for slide oil (is smells like cinnamon for some reason), and Fat Cat valve oil. ^3^

well i don't remember the number but i gots stories..well one of them was on the middle joint thingy which got there from me banging it on my coffee table..i lied and told my mom idk how it got there..he he he..and i got little dents in my mouthpiece from blacktop..we were marching in a parade when i tripped over a pothole..landed on my flute mouthpiece..hence the dents..lol..i'm clumsy..can't rly remember others rly

There are three dents in the shape of a triangle on the head of my flute.
I have a case that holds my flute and piccolo, so thats not much of a problem. Its like a pink messanger bag.
I dont need anything to define my piano. It was uber expensive, plays itself, and plugs into the wall. It also stays in my house 24/7. I love my baby grand.

About 10 seconds. There are only three pieces to the flute, and no ligatures, reeds, rasin, or anything else of the sort. The flute is a very low maintenince instrument.

We got from 3/4 to Free time. Back to 3/4 then to free time again. Then we switch the 7/8 then all of a sudden it's 3/5 then back to 7/8 only fast. Free time once again. Then 3/4 and last the crazy fast 7/8 again for the ending of the song. It exposes all the sections in the band so you really have to be up to par on this song. [:

Since my flute is still pretty new. ( I got it summer of '07 ) I'm proud to say no dents. =D On my OLD flute tehre are like 9 or 10 minor ones. There's still a funny one from when the head joint flew off and slammed against a door though...

OMG! During Marching season all the seniors told us that our plumes were on backwards. We fell for it like 6 times before we realized that you can't but a plume on backwards.

In Marching band we wear maroon, black, and white uniforms for full. For casual uniform we have black pants, and out maroon polos with the logo on the chest. For concert we wear floor length black dresses. They're itchy, and remind me of Good will brand trash bags.

Sort of too different to classify. I really like him though. Most of the time.

John thrice dented/dropped my instrument last season. Once, we were playing in a very tight arc, and on a horns up his slide hit mine. Another time his bell hit mine. And I can't remember what the third time was. I accidently let my trombone slip and it got a dent in the finnish on the bell. =( And another time it got scraped/scratched on the cymble(sp?) holder on the xylophone.

No, I look rather silly.

My band director the other day was bashing the 9th grade band and the freshmen in general(I'm in 9th too, but I'm in jazz band, not the 9th grade band) and then was like oh wait, you are a freshman too, but you don't count, and I really glad you aren't in that class. oh wait that wasn't on my playing haha. whatevs. Oh it's always nice when people say that they heard me!(I play kinda quietly...)
18. Weirdest instrument you've ever seen?
English horns are so strange looking to me. Oh and there are always the funny old mishmashed make your own type of things hanging on the wall of the only good music store withing a few hours of here.

Uhhh. I don't know. some all-purpose metal polish for polishing, and for oil, whatever happens to be available to me, I'm not picky. But no creams, I can't stand them.

3rd/4th. The slash is because the person who played 3rd now plays the E flat clarinet most of the time.
I'd love to be 1st, but I'm no where near as good as the 1st chair player... she's incredible.
4. What classification does your BD rank under?
The really nice, but when it gets to be concert/contest/tour time she gets really stressed and occasionally gets angry.

The music the pit orchestra that I'm in is playing for Beauty and the Beast. Original broadway score. SO HARD!

too many. Mostly related to tour. We toured Costa Rica, and we played at a school. One of the trumpet players had a fan club; I swear, so many girls followed him. Also: SNOOTY AND THE PRIEST!

Clarinet lessons, symphony orchestra, pit orchestra, solo contest, band at church, Tri-Metro Honor Band (one day thing), U of M Honor Band (one weekend), and this summer I'm doing this month-long music immersion thing.

NO. I will not defile the beauty that is my clarinet.

It has a couple of scratches, but I'm overly protective of it. I'm a klutz, but I save my clarinet before myself.

NO. My neck goes weird, since I have to do weird things with my chin. It all scrunches up.

Today my band director said "well, if any player can handle intense, it's writerserenyty." I've also gotten pretty good compliments from my director and my accompanist about how I've improved. It's kind of nice.

Um... I guess an English Horn? Also an E flat clarinet: it's so tiny!

Sometimes, if there's some weird rhythm, or if it's in a weird time.

Percussionists: they slack off, and get on the band director's nerves.
Flutes: only because there are so many of them; they're good, but they are a huge part of the band.

I am in begining band in Flute (I could get through the book really quickly if I really wanted to) There hasn't been anything hard in flute yet. The fact that it is really easy is getting on my nerves.
Piano I have played since I was about 5 (about 9 years) So I have played alot. The song that was the hardest to memorize was Prelude in C Major by Bach. Songs are normaly really easy for me to memorize. That song was really easy to play though. I have no idea what the hardest song I have ever played is though.

People always say that I play really well (piano) and seem to enjoy my playing. My Band Teacher said that I could get through Begining and Intermediate Band really easily.
