Ian eyed his staff warily. What if he hurt her while they were sparring? But looking Bobby up and down he decided that she looked sturdy enough. "I'll spar." he responded getting up and moving over to grasp his staff with a hand. "remember that this was your idea. I won't go easy on youjust because you are a woman. In the real world gender doesn't matter, both can be just as lethal."
He held his quarterstaff in one hand to his side and got into a beginning stance, quarterstaff held at his side in his left hand and somewhat crouched over with his right foot and right hand out in front.

Bobby laughed, Oh what a gentleman! Usually, they don't warn you that they won't go easy on you. "Trust me, Ian, I wouldn't have it eny other way. Besides, it's better if neither hold back."
Sitting down, the woman took off her sandals. She took out her extra bandages and wrapped her feet; it wasn't so ideal considering the environment, but better than the sandals. Her hands were already wrapped, so Bobby wasn't concerned about them.
Getting back up, Bobby took her spot facing Ian and curtisied in her tank top. She took up her stance with a look of focus and concentration on her face.

Ian inclined his head briefly to her than paused before deciding that a first strike was often the deciding factor in the victor of a battle. It also allowed him to be able to guage Bobby'sstrength - unless she was one of those that held back at first to fool the opponent.
He charged, still holding the staff in one hand. He hogged towards her then quickly feinted towards her left knee while adding his right hand to the staff to swing towards her shin.

Bobby watched the charge, no harm in letting him do a little extra work. Of course, he was a deer and most likely have more stamina than herself -no matter how much conditioning she did, even though she had been slacking lately.
The woman jumped a step. She kicked out her left foot to try and divert the staff to the side. At the same time she tried to punch at it from underneath. Her ideal impression was to push the staff out and up, but maintaining her balance so she could jump back further to avoid being hit in the face.

Startled by whatever Bobby was attempting to do, Ian diverted his attack and instead leapt back and contemplated his chancesand opportunities. What was Bobby doing, she seemed reckless and unpredictable. He held his staff in both hands and watched her through slitted eyes
He waited for her to move this time, when she attacked he would block and counterattack.

Bobby withdrew when Ian stepped back. She regained her balance and kicked with her right foot this time, at Ian's waste-level. Her hands were draw into her body for balance but were also ready for when she would need them again.

Great, her foot was propelling towards his waist. He swung out his quarterstaff and blocked. Then yelled as a snapping sound rent the air. The quarterstaff snapped, coming apart into two pieces in his hands. As Bobbys foot, still being propelled forward, made contact with his midriff, he grunted, falling onto his butt in the grass, completely devoid of breath. He sat there staring at her for a moment before laughing. "Your good," he panted, trying to catch his breath. "That was fun." He looked at the piecesof his staff, perhaps he could ask the staff for a new one. Jungle wood just wasn't very sturdy.

Most of Bobby's force went into breaking the staff, but there was still enough to have Ian land on his bum. A piece of the torn wood had dug through the bandaging and given her a slight cut, although nothing serious. It just stung.
But Bobby was more concerned about Ian. Immediately, she was on the ground and kneeling next to Ian, trying to convince herself that he was alright. If she hurt him, she would never be able to forgive herself.... but now she also broke his quarterstaff.
The woman let out a sigh of relief when Ian started laughing. "If I had know I would break your staff, I never would have suggested...." Bobby frowned at her handywork. She had gotten sloppy. The woman was glad he had fun -although they each only got one attack in- but she felt too guilty for breaking his staff to admit she had fun too.

He was still laughing, "its alright really. It was only made from wood I found in the jungle."
He had his breath back now and stood up. "It was the first time I have ever gone up against an actual opponent with a staff. No need to feel bad." He looked at his tree and 'bed' "I think I'll go back to my duplex. I don't belong in the wild. Not after good food like that." He inclined his head and grinned. "It was nice meeting you, I haven't had so much fun in awhile."

Bobby couldn't help but smile, well, maybe she'd see him around more if he wasn't a recluse in the wild. But she hoped she hadn't changed his mind on something he would later regret.
"Well, then, I did have fun, too!" Bobby giggled. As he walked away to gather his things, the woman stood, "I'll clean up here and go back as well, no need to wait up. I was planning to stay out all day, but after all that excitement...." The woman shook her head with a smile.
After gathering everything and putting it away, the woman unwrapped her left foot from the slightly dirty bandages. She left the right as it was, so the cut would stay protected. Slipping her feet back in her sandals, Bobby picked up her sack. She saw Ian had left some tomatoes and took a few. They really were good tomatoes.

Ginerva's mood was light, and her spirits were high. There was a brightness to her eye; the excited look it bore was enough to chill one right through the skin. For when something made this Doctor happy, something was seriously wrong. She needed to get out, which was also odd for her. Nothing brought Ginerva more happiness than being locked up in her dark office. But, she found herself walking about the Island, looking for some place to lurk, away from the eyes of the - subjects. She was in a good mood, but not quite the kind that inspired the torture of the Islanders. It was rare enough that she even saw them in person, outdoors...
Her search for a dark, comfortable place led her to the base of the cliffs, a heavily shadowed, not too foliated place, where the ground was harder. She breathed in heavily, and giggled as though intoxicated. She hummed a little, high-pitched tune. It sounded eerie and unnatural as it echoed off of the stone 'wall.'

Madison saunterd out of her bungaloo and decided to hike in the cliffs for exercise. The vixen needed to stretch her new developed muscles so badly and she was getting too chubby to wear her shorts.
When she arrived to the rocky path, a strange sound caught her by surprise. It was humming but the way it echoed around the cliffs sent goosebumps up her furry spine. The sound really bothered her..it sounded eerily familiar. She stood still for several moments basking in the sound, her blue eyes widened in fear. (( Hey I'll bbl. My dad is taking me to the pep boys to check on my car))

Ginerva stopped humming when she felt the sound condense, as though something had come and blocked up the sound slightly. She turned slowly - was it some Islander? Maybe she'd be able to have fun with one after all. But, her creepy smile widened when under the fur, she recognized Dr. Moreau... that is, Madison Moreau.
She was just as good as any subject, but oh-so much more fun. She and Ginerva had quite the relationship.
"Oh Maddy. How positively lovely to see you," her high-pitched voice still echoing slightly. "It's been a while."

A recognizable figure stepped out into the sunlight and Madison's heart began to pound under her flocculent chest. It couldn't be... her. Why was she here? That Ginerva Mac..something.. she couldn't quite recall but Madison felt like a sick joke was being played on her. It was dubious that these two should ever cross paths again. Was the probability this high that they should meet here on this god damned island?
Oh my god... I can't believe it is her.. how could she recognize me under all this fur? Maybe my cousin told her.. I haven't the slightest idea.. Her mind began spinning in all directions. Ginerva hadn't changed a bit.. she was still obnoxious with that high voice of hers.
She started to speak but no words could escape from her lips. Standing motionless in a daze of disbelief, Madison finally shook herself free. Ginerva had such piercing eyes that could always see right through her...
"Likewise, Ginerva. You're looking well.." she trailed off, invoking fraudulence in her tone of voice. The island was just beginning to be even more an inescapable hell for her.

Madison suddenly began to get dizzy and lightheaded. Heart pounding, she tried to catch her breath. She hadn't experienced a panic attack since before coming to the island. Madison just had to get away from here as fast as possible. She broke away from Ginerva's strong gaze and ran back to her bungalow.
I can't believe Ginerva still has such a strong effect on me... I wonder if we will meet again... (fin)
