Shaon dreamed of that day's terrible event and woke up, her fist jammed in her mouth so she wouldn't scream. she shivered, snugglign closer to Ben for protection as she bit dwn on her fist. her dreams were haunting her. just when she thought they had finally left he had to rape her again.

Ben felt the movement and grunted, making and upset facial expression as he brought both arms around her. He was still sleeping, but he started to rock her gently side to side.

Shaon closed her eyes as he wrapped his arms around her, rocking her back and forth. her shivering continued as he held her, her mind still ravaged, but her body safe with him. against all instinct and notions, she trusted him.

Several hours later a man walked into the room and stared at the strange sight in front of him. of course, he had already seen it from the cameras in his office, but it was still weird to see in person. He cleared his throat loudly.
Ben awoke to the noise. His vision was slightly blurry, but he felt someone on him. He was surprised to see it was Shaon, and even more surprised to see the the owner looking at them. He gently moved Shaon off of him. "Your a pervert." He whispered to the owner.

Shaon made no resistance as he moved her, remaining asleep as he moved her gently onto the couch beside him.

The old man smiled at Bens comment. "I'm not the one with a girl on my lap. What would your late wife think?" He joked. "No news on your boy, but I heard someone knocked down a inn in Attilus."
Ben rolled his eye. "That would be him. anyone hurt?" Ben asked.
"Nope, just two guys stuck under the crap. and ones a cop."

"mmm..." Shaon breathed quietly, wincing her eyes tightly shut as her hands tightened around her waist from another nightmare as the two spoke.

Ben glanced at Shaon. A worried look was on his face.
The man looked at the files spread on the table. "Hey Eon. You looking into them again?" The man asked in surprise.
"Again? What are you talking about old man?" Ben asked as he faced him; confusion replaced his look of worry on his face.

shaon froze. breath catching as her body stiffened, her arms locked tight around her waist.

The man looked confused also. "Eon is the company I was hiding from when you found me on the streets. Do you remember?" The man asked a little insulted.
"No. I don't." Ben said flat out. of course he doesn't remember why all his client needed a 'New life'. He didn't realizes Shaons movement. "What do you know about Eon?" He asked the man urgently.

Shaon remained huddled in her position, frozen and breathng sparesly as the two men talked, her body shivering slightly.

"You don't remember? I was working for them as a chemist. they wanted me to create an battle enhancer that was permanently in the body and something as simple as anger would trigger it. It took years to make and when I found out that they were going to use it on kids, I quit. That's when they came after me to kill me." The man told him
Ben walked over to the man and kissed him "YES!" He shouted, but quickly covered his mouth and looked at Shaon.

Shaon jumped a solid foot, crying ou and nearly tripping over herself. she shrank back on the couch, arms frozen as she looked to where the soudn came from. her eyes took a moment to register i, but when she did she relaxed a tad, but not a lot. her heart was still roaring in her ears.

Ben smiled, "Sorry, but I just found a missing piece. And it was right under our nose." He told her pointing at the man with his thumb. "Mr. Scott her is a former employee from the Eon organization."
The man smiled at the girl and waved.
