Zys mouth was now a full smile and he was beginning to mumble stuff in his sleep. He moved to his other side and placed his hands around the surprisingly warm steel of his sword.

Shaon rubbed her hand over the cool stone of the stone. "bet it's your fault...dummy. messing everything up." she poked the gravestone. "Well, it's your own fault, y'know?"

Drool fell from his mouth as Zy nudged his head into the pillow; the smile till on his face. "longtime no see." He mumble in his sleep.

she sighed and leaned back, kicking the grave stone angrily. "said you'd always be there? well where are you know zandeR?" there was a hint of hysteria to her voice. "you are dead and broken to pieces, forced to watch me slowly lose my mind ebcause of you." she kicked it harder, hurting her foot.

She glared at the tombstone and snarled at it, slumoping back and crying. she didn't know why she needed to cry. not just a sad, depressed kind, but an overwhelming outpour of emotions kind. the kind she didn't want anyone but Zander's soul to see. she laid on the grass with the sun high in the sky, tears pouring down her cheeks in waves as her arms circled around the cold tombstone. he was really gone.

Zy began to chuckle as his mind dreamt of his lost friend. he hasn't been this happy in a long time, but he knows it wont last. "don't leave me, not yet." His smile was gone as sorrow replaced it.

shaon sat with her head agaisnt the grave for who knows how long as the sun slowly faded in the sky, its light stopped reflecting as it began to shrink away into the night.

Zys leg kicked about; moving the blanket off him. "Don't..." His eyebrows lowered. "Don't go." Zy curled his closer to himself to keep warm. He gripped the blanket he was lying on as his body began to shiver.

shaon looked up as the sun dissapeared. twilight....she frowend slughtly as she herself shivered. she dropped her hands to her sides as she let her cheek and side lay agaisnt the now icy stone. "Zander..."

"JASMINE!" Zy shouted for his friend as she disappeared into the darkness. A tear slid down the side of his face; he was still sound asleep.

shaon was out of tears now, laying content by the grave. maybe if she stayed there long enough she'd be able to see him. not just his name roughly carved into the stone where his corpse was buried. almost obsessively, she thought of digging up his body again. her fingers twitched at the thought and she poked the soft ground. she could....she then shook ehr head. holding a corpse did no one any good. grabbing at things that were gone was futile. she knew that...

Zy awoke in a shiver; he quickly got up and looked around. Jasmine! Zy shook the thought of his old friend, he hasn't thought about her in so long. Zy walked into the bedroom expecting to find Shaon there. When she wasn't in the bed, he figured where she would be. he sat down waiting for her.

shaon sighed, tracing the letters, tracing the memories. why did she have to tortue herself so? torture herself by remebering things that would never be agian.
maybe because you want a valid reason to die. you want to die so you can be back. then you'll have an excuse for Zander.
that's not true.... she thought
is it? have you even tried to get over his death? have you even tried to cope? you know you haven't. mayeb you're afraid to move on. that's it. you're afraid to love again. to feel human again. to feel any--
shaon shook the thoughts off as she sighed, pulling back from the grave. she didn't know what to think anymore.
