And in PJO the Orphius (the only time it's named Bessie) IS a girl it HAS to be or else it would be a bull serpent, not a cow serpent. Cow is female, bull is male. Percy clearly describes it as a COW serpent, and even if that's not quite right PJO changes a lot of things. The name 'Bessie' for it is only used in PJO, therefore Bessie is a girl. Longish explanation for it but oh well I'm in a bad mood.
And please nobody call me Hecate I'm getting really annoyed I mean you can come up with something other than Nyx, that thinking is interesting and creative and the whole point of this thread but Hecate was gonna be my next avi's theme. Damn, spoiled that too. Oh well. *sulks*
