Well what can I say, I'm a conservative (Naturally Pro-Life), and Beware the Jabberwock, invited me to the guild so here I am.
*Sees the little format everyone is using for their intro* OK I'll have it up that way soon. @_@
----------------------------------------------------------------
~*~Personal~*~ Name (Or something other than Gaia nickname?): Brian Walsh Birthday: 6/18/88 Country your currently residing in: USA Home Address and Phone Number (I'm kidding, don't actually answer this.) Aww come on... Is there anyone special in your life? (And I don't mean your mother.): Siblings?: 1 sis Pets?: 1 cat (My sis's) Mentor?: No one, unless myself or Jesus counts. Religion?: Roman Catholic Favorite Quote: "Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys." Favorite Band: Not a big music person but I guess Evanescence Favorite Movie: LotR trilogy.
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): I believe that life shouldn't tossed away needlessly. What about physical health to the mother?: If the mother can survive, then keep the baby, if not it is an unfortunate decision that should be the mother's choice. Rape?: This is a tough one. If the expectant mother doesn't want the baby, then she should have it an put it up for adoption. If she doesn't want the negative side effects, or can't function her role in society because of it... I do feel she should be the judge of weather a rape is worth a murder. Views on the Death Penalty?: Some people don't disserve to have life. Especially for murderers and IMO rapists, Fry them. Are you vegetarian?: Nope Vegan?: Nope Are there another ways you're pro-life?: Where else can you define life but at conception?
~*~Lastly~*~ Say something positive about someone in this Guild: Dunno anyone yet. Say something positive about someone in the Pro-Choice Guild: Why would I join a pro-choice guild?

~*~Personal~*~ Name (Or something other than Gaia nickname?): Lyss Birthday: March 7th, 1990 Country your currently residing in: America; unfortunately Home Address and Phone Number (I'm kidding, don't actually answer this.): Awh, darn. Is there anyone special in your life? (And I don't mean your mother.): Not romantically. Siblings?: Sister (23) and a half-brother (35-ish) Pets?: Reene (cat), Taima (cat), Jazzie (dog), and my sister is living with me at the moment so her pets: Bay (cat), Tora, (cat; only male), and Mahin (dog). Mentor?: I suppose my really good friend, Elena, who I consider my sister (not the same from above). Religion?: Agnostic. Favourite Quote: I have so many! I think my most favourite ones are, "I've got a jar of dirt! I've got a jar of dirt! And guess what's inside it!" - Jack/Johnny Depp, POTC II and "Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask is an idea, Mr. Creedy. And ideas are bulletproof." - V/Hugo Weaving, V for Vendetta Favourite Band: Evanescence Favorite Movie: POTC I and II, V for Vendetta, and The Skeleton Key.
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): Maybe I was slightly infuenced because my mother is also pro-life. But as I grew up and realized my own opinions, I agreed. I feel like it's murdering an innocent life; robbing that child of their chance to live. What about physical health to the mother?: If the mother is heathly, I see no reason why abortion is necessary. But if something is wrong, it's a tough decision and only hers to make. Rape?: This one is iffy. If the mother-to-be is physically and mentally able, then she should have the child; whether to keep him or her or adoption is her choice. But if it scarred her mentally and emotionally, not to mention physically, then this is the time where I feel it would be alright. It doesn't change it from murder, but it could be worth it. Views on the Death Penalty?: Wow, I'm agreeing with Brian_Link a lot. Like he said, some people don't deserve to live, like killers, rapists, and the like. Are you vegetarian?: No, but I wish I was. Whenever I eat meat, I feel rather guilty. But I'm one of those people who don't eat a lot of different things. Meat is one of the very few foods that give me protein. Vegan?: Nope; see above. Are there another ways you're pro-life?: Same as Brian_Link. x_x
~*~Lastly~*~ Say something positive about someone in this Guild: Just joined so don't know anyone yet. Say something positive about someone in the Pro-Choice Guild: Don't know anyone in one.

~*~Personal~*~ Name (Or something other than Gaia nickname?): R!nalda Birthday: Just passed few days ago smile Country your currently residing in: US Home Address and Phone Number (I'm kidding, don't actually answer this.) lol NO Is there anyone special in your life? (And I don't mean your mother.): Nope Siblings?: a twin sister Pets?: nope Mentor?: unless you count my profile mentor, psylch, then no. Religion?: Catholic Favorite Quote: I like lots of quotes... Favorite Band: Big & Rich Favorite Movie: The Princess Bride
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): Well, first of all, I'm Catholic, but I see being pro life as black and white... In the scott peterson trial, he was charged on 2 counts of murder-His wife, and his UNBORN child. This is plain and simple-abortion is killing babies, and if the supreme court counts this as murder, they should count abortion as it too. What about physical health to the mother?: Also important. I'm sick and tired of women being seen as unimportant and lesser. Rape?: Let's stop that too. xP Views on the Death Penalty?: I really don't have an opinion on that, yet. Are you vegetarian?: hehe... no... Vegan?: I find veganisim stupid...yeah.. no. Are there another ways you're pro-life?: I believe that everyone has a right to live and a right to the afterLIFE.
~*~Lastly~*~ Say something positive about someone in this Guild: I know Mr. I.AM from On This Rock. He's cool. And he's got an awesome siggy biggrin Say something positive about someone in the Pro-Choice Guild: Uh... I'm not in that one.

~*~Personal~*~ Name (Or something other than Gaia nickname?): Christine Birthday: 02/17/1984 Country your currently residing in: Toronto, Canada Is there anyone special in your life? (And I don't mean your mother.): Nope Siblings?: estranged brother Pets?: A yorky dog named Pippin Mentor?: Nope Religion?: Christian Favorite Quote: Too many to post Favorite Band: The Killers Favorite Movie: Amadeus, LOTR's, Narnia, The Last Unicorn
~*~Pro-Life~*~ Why are you Pro-Life? (Were you adopted, know anyone who had an abortion, etc.): Several reasons: (1) I feel it's the most disgusting thing humanity has come to, especially now with so many options, such as open adoption. (2) My mother was adopted; had she been aborted I would not be here today. (3) My mother had abortions, in the past, and has faced both physical and mental issues due to them What about physical health to the mother?: Abortion in such circumstances is done for the purpose of saving a womans life, not for the intention to kill the child, unlike almost all abortions. These could be done by a doctor, in a hospital, so there would be no need for abortion clinics for these rare cases Rape?: Against. Aborting will not undue the rape nor will it bring you any absolution. It's still your child even though the father did a horrible thing to you. Views on the Death Penalty?: It's a necessary evil due to the fact that some murderers have escaped custody (i.e. Ted Bundy), so we need to protect the majority of people so sometimes the death penalty is the only option to do so. Are you vegetarian?: No Vegan?: No Are there another ways you're pro-life?: I'd like to be but realistically, no
~*~Lastly~*~ Say something positive about someone in this Guild: I'm new to Gaia so I don't know anyone Say something positive about someone in the Pro-Choice Guild: Even if I knew a pro-choice member I would have a hard time fishing for compliments
