"Haha your existence means little to me, I don't care whether or not you live. I am more concerned with my own existence and I am willing to do anything to benefit myself. If I thought for a monent that alligning myself with you could be advantageous to me well then I would be more than happy to. Oh and one more thing, it's so very rude to enter without knocking." Alsvid turned quickly to Victor, "Now, my friend, I shall be walking around with a target on my back. He knows all that I have said to you."

Alexander briefly broke the telepathic link between himself and Alsvid. He sighed. The boy truly had no great knowledge of the five Vampiric Lords. Each had a specific title, pertaining to some great universal aspect. The weakest of them was Katan Linquist, Vampiric Lord of Fire. Next, the late Zaitan Uldereth, Vampiric Lord of Ice. Third came Abigail Grand, Vampiric Lady of Time. The fourth, and now deceased, Valgirand Euistal, Vampiric Lord of Mind. The final was himself, Alexander Delacroix, Vampiric Lord of Blood. With the death of two, the remaining three gained equal shares of their power. Because Katan and Abigail remain hidden, hibernating until all is safe, their powers have, too, been transfered, but only until his task is complete.
Alexander relayed another message into Alsvid's mind. "I keep my promise not to harm your beloved, but I cannot allow you to continue with your plan. Hopefully, you can see the error of your ways, for I would hate to deprive your lady of her man."

Skyler could hear Alsvid over the other poeple. Does he even care for me... I knew it! She quietly disappeared out in to the hall way and walk the passageways just getting her self lost in her thought. Stuff like this always happens to me... Why me? She quickly found her self lost in the building but did not care. She went back to the state she had been in before all of the nice thingss happened. Lie's... lies. Always lie's. She alway dreamed of smiling but now it seem useless to try. Why can't my pain end...

"Well we'll see what the night has in store." Alsvid bowed to Victor, "I shall be leaving now, I'm so sorry I couldn't stay and chat. You're such an excellent conversationalist, that is of course, when you are not threatening my life." He jumped over the bannister and landed at the edge of the crowd. Making his way to the wall he began to panic when he noticed Skyler was gone. "Skyler!" he called at the top of his voice, "Skyler!" He spun around in search of her. He surveyed the people in the room, moving so quickly that all of the faces became blurred. "If some fiend has found her I will tear out his heart and feed it to the cruznick beast." He ran down a hallway caling her name. "Where is she?" he thought.

Skyler leand agenst a wall as she held back the urge to cry. She wanted to be that ghost girl she was once before. Where poeple only saw her shadow and did not care. She sat down and stared at the wall blankly. She heard what sound like someone screaming a name but she couldn't make it out. She did not make a sound as she sat in the darkness. She didn't even move as her mind blanked out trying to find away around the self centered words heard from Alsvid mouth. Soon she was sent in to a deep thought proess leaving her self open as she became unknowing of what was going on around her.

Raoul raised an eyebrow at the vampire standing in his way and his almost vacant gaze. Old...too old, he whispered to himself, instinctively shrinking away because once they got as old as this redhead was, there was no telling what they might do. Still he dipped his head slightly in a sign of respect and pressed the first two fingers of his left hand briefly over his red blazoned heart both to identify his bloodline and a gesture of neutrality. Raoul would have stayed for longer, even to question the ancient, if he didn't have more pressing issues on his mind. He stepped aside and rushed down the hall, faster than the eye could see, until eventually regaining his bearings, returned to the room.

"I'm back Poinsettia," He murmured, hurrying over to to the boy's side and promptly pressed a compress over his head. "Here, drink some of this." Raoul gently raised his companion higher and pressed a water filled glass to his lips.

Poinsettia heard Raoul's return and opened his eye's slightly, he sipped the water.
"It was just a fall, i'm fine Raoul." he pressed closing his eyes again.

Raoul rolled his eyes and pressed the compress harder against Poinsettia's forehead, "You didn't look fine a minute ago, bleeding all over the place, looking so pale..." He frowned and rapidly flicked his fingers against his companion's ear in a bid to rouse him, "Keep your eyes open for me will you? At least for a little while more...are you in any pain?" Can I possibly sound any more like a mother hen? He shrugged and moved away, sitting lightly on the bed beside Poinsettia, "Okay I will stop fussing but please keep your eyes open."

Yes, my whole body hurts. I can't move my legs, I feel too tired to keep my eye's open. thought Poinsettia, "Nothing hurt's! You are such a mother hen!"he laughed, "I'll keep my eyes open for you."

Raoul blushed and looked down at the rag in his hands. Mother hen...that confirms it then. A smile touched his lips and he leaned closer to tuck the covers around Poinsettia and check on the wrap on his head, murmuring as he did, "I'm sorry if I fuss but I can't help it; I can't let anything happen to you..not if there's something I can do..." He pressed a kiss to the young man's temples and then his cheek and then his lips. "But since you say so, I will stop worrying. You can go to sleep now if you want; don't worry, I'm not going anywhere."

Smileing, Poinsettia closed his eyes and wraped a hand into Raouls own hand. He didn't want the night to end, he was afraid that when it did Raoul would be out of his life for good and that would be it. No more meaning to his short life.

Out the doors Victor tread, he had not found Namine anywhere, nor had that vampiric lord shown his face. The slayer made his way into the gardens, ironically enough, the same place where he had destroyed the two vampires earlier who had thought to outmatch him in throwing strength.
He saw very few people about. A handful were off in the distance, sharing company with one another, but hardly anything noticeable.
"Namine?" He yelled out, breaking the silence of the night.
He hoped that somewhere, he could find her. Somehow, he had to find out the truth, he had to know if it had really been her that had sent those upstarts to kill him.
He had to know if she honestly loved him...
"Namine?"He shouted again.
Nothing.
He sighed heavily, and continued the process over and over again as he walked throughout the garden, disturbing many couples' privacy, but he hardly cared.
He was hunting a vampire, and for once, with no intent to kill.

Namine awoke startled by a voice calling her name. She quickly slipped the mask on forgetting to retie her hair. She heard the call once more and froze. It was Victor. Victor was calling out to her. Her heart wanted to run towards him. No..you can't do that. Dont you remember what he said? He wants to kill you. Its the last part of the game he has been playing with you.
She moved closer to the brush looking through it to find Victor. She made sure to mask herself so that Victor and anyone else looking for her would not find her. "Oh..Victor why do you search for me? Do you want my death so badly? Do you want to see me turn into the monster you say I am? I don't want to see the fire die from your eyes. Please turn away don't call out to me anymore." Namine could not tear her eyes away though. Her heart was playing a game of tug of war as she wondered wether to go to him or run away.

Alexander heard yelling from a distance. Someone, a man, had been calling out to someone, most likely a woman, by the name of Namine. He smelled the air and caught the scents of familiar blood. It was the young vampire girl and... the hunter. Alexander was not above reasoning and diplomacy, thusly walking in the direction from where the cries had come.
Within moments, he spotted the man with the familiar blood. It was the, thus far, unnamed hunter. He looked him over from a distance, his vampiric eyes picking up every slightest detail about his visage. He tapped into his thoughts, revealing nothing too important, mostly high stress and unrelenting hate... typical hunter. Why Alsvid had sided with this man was beyond even Alexander, but perhaps this hunter was different from the others. After all, you can not judge a book by its cover... or blood... or thoughts. He chuckled to himself at his petty joke and relayed a message into the hunter's mind. "You know who I am, he said, "now what is it that you want?"

Victor felt the air suddenly grow deathly cold and the light from all the surrounding areas, even the moon seemed to draw back slightly in the presence of this newest arrival.
He had barely sensed him appear, but, no novice to the stealthy movements of vampiric kind, Victor spun about and faced the man whom he knew beyond a shadow of a doubt was a vampire lord.
Judging by his appearance, and the sheer power granted by his presence, Victor immediately knew which of the three elders stood before him now.
"Alexander Delacroix... I never expected you to be the one who had arrived here tonight."
A bead of sweat rolled down his brow. Hugo Goldwater himself could not have possibly prepared him for this.
He thought of running, but instantly dismissed that notion the moment it crossed his mind, both out of practicality and honor.
He thought of Namine again, wondering if she had somehow brought this legendary fiend before him, but again disregarded it, knowing full well her dislike for the rest of her kind's hatred for cruzniks.
His hand rested readily on the grip of his pistol, prepared to go into full fight the moment one of the pair willed it.
"Why have you come? Surely not for Victor Francis Graham," he said half-mockingly with a short bow," Or at least not solely that reason. I can only assume that you think of me as a nuisance, or a distraction from your real target. So, please, indulge me, elder, what is your real reason for coming here tonight?"
