Zetsu waved back at her then vainished off towards the village. Halfway there as he ran, with a few quick hands signs and a quite cry of "summoning justu!" he was no longer alone. "So we heading off? Zabu asked as he appeared on Zetsu shoulder. "Not quite. I need to know the contents first." He answered. Shortly he landed, walking into the first inn he found. After a quick exchange, and a short walk, Zetsu was locked safely in his room. He pulled out the scroll that his master had discretely slipped him. "Oh snap, is that really what he wants us to do?" Zabu asked reading it too. "Apparently. It shouldn't be too hard." Zetsu answered as he reread the scroll one more time before lighting it on fire. "Yeah but those guys are bad news, Zetsu. Be careful ok?" Zabu continued as Zetsu streached back on the bed. "Don't worry Zabu. I can handle anything these, Akatsuki can throw at me." Zetsu said eyes closed, his arms tucked under his head. Smirking he added, "Believe it."

Just outside the hotel a curse could be heard,"WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE PERVY SAGE!!!" came the obnoxious voice of Konohas number one hyper active knuckle head ninja, Naruto.

Zetsu flinched at the voice. Damn it, that's right this is HIS hometown, wasn't it? Zetsu thought getting up and looking out the window to see if he could spy the orange ramen loving nin.

"YOUR "REASEARCHING" AGAIN ARNT YOU?"Naruto said outloud.
The toad sage reached forward hushing the orange ninja then leaning in and saying something to him. The hyperactive ninja calmed down and nodded, slowly walking away.

Sighing, Zetsu returned to the bed, calmly he kicked off his shoes and removed several weapons. Since he was going to be traveling alot the next few weeks, and he didn't know when his next one was going to be, he stripped taking a long shower. Long after the water had turned cold he came out, dressing quickly in the pair of black pants and gray t-shirt that served as his pajamas, and slipped into the bed. "Night Zabu. Don't stay up too late, ok?" Zetsu said as he settled in. "I won't. Sleep. I'll keep watch. Zabu responded as the young ninja fell asleep.

"Was. Thought I should get a semblance of sleep before I headed out. Figured I'd get an early start after I picked up a few things." Zetsu answered, instantly awake. Sitting up he looked over at his master, Zabu settled calmly in his lap.

"It's just a standed recon mission, right? Just that these guys are dangerous and it's ten times more important that I don't get caught." Zetsu answered.
((I figured as much. And he probably doesn't comprehend just how dangerous they are. Go Akatsuki!))

"Zetsu dont take this lightly, they are INCREDIBLY dangerous, and the reason for this mission is that, right outside" he motioned to the orange ninja who was still there buying some food.

"Yes sir. I understand. I'll send Zabu with the reports." He answered, still fighting his angry over the reason, but knowing that Jiraya wasn't lying about this. If he sent him, he'd go that was just the way it was.
