"Cool, eh?" Ronin laughed as jumped off her shoulder. He hovered in front of her for a moment before turning back to his normal size. "So what would you like to do?"
Just then a red-haired guy bumped into Ronin and fell to the floor. Ronin looked at him with stern eyes and was about to unleashed his fury, but then Ronin heard what the man said. Cosmo? That named sounded familiar. Then it clicked. This man was that spastic little pixie, Cosmo! Ronin bent down and looked at the pixie/man straight in the face, keeping a stern expression.
"Ronin loves Cosmo!" he exclaimed and smiled as he put out his hand to help Cosmo up.
Ben was glad Syrith had understood. He reached for Kiyoko's hand. "Don't worry too much about your creature. I'm sure it will be okay." He turned to look at her and smiled.
"Yeah, we'll get Mr. Fluffy and then I can read you two my story...if you want." Ben then realized he didn't have his notebook with him. Now where did I leave that..he wondered.

Shatter sighed a little. He figured Kiyoko's creature wasn't fully awake yet. It had happened last time, too, as he recalled. And it appeared that there was only one figurine left in the box. Then he could go home and check on Lastcry.

((honestly! kay, i live in england. tat means that while you lot are all posting, its one'o clock in the morning here and im asleep. so if i dont reply straight away, its because im unconscious.))
Aqualos sighed. "nuts and i finally got comfy." she appeared in a maelstrom of different colored flames, and looked up at her new master. 'correction. mistress.' she realized she was miniature, and grew to her normal size. at that point she realized that her new mistress was quite small. "aw nuts, she's just a little kid!" she said, then swore. luckily it was an old swear word, unknown to most people, but in the days of her old master i was quite rude. she sat down on a table, sighing. she looked at the girl. "okay, first off, my name is Aqualos. You may call me Aqua, for short. I am a fire elemental. Dont mock the name." looking around, she said. "so, who do you want me to burn?"

((I feel your pain, there. You guys stay up pretty late... xd ))
Before she could take both of her friend's advice, Kiyoko watched as the woman finally was released from hte crystal. She was quite pretty, and Kiyoko noticed by the attitude and facial expression that something was wrong. Mabye she was having a bad day...
"I wouldn't mock your name; I thought that it was pwetty cool." the girl answered at first, and tried to catch up with the rest of introductions. "It's nice to meet you, Aqua; I'm Kiyoko!" she said, with a slight bow for respect. Once getting to the last question, she looked up at the woman with a surprised look on her face. "Wait...what?! I don't wanna burn anyone!" she said, looking quite surprised, and a tad hurt. She would never be that cruel; what would give this woman that idea?
The boy walked over to this strange creature. He probably had on the costume for show; it looked pretty cool. "Sure." he answered; he was at that wonderful age where he thought himself not having to show respect.

Aqua looked surprised. "you dont? i thought all you humans do is try to hurt each other to get what you want." then she thought. "actually, that was just my previous master, but..." she looked at her, then sighed, deciding she'd just have to adjust. "so, Kiyoko, what do you want me to do? i can give you a flight, or maybe heal someone.. what d'ya want?"

Greg was all happy inside he had someone to talk to and help him for as long as he lived and greg would do the same for the Centaur. Gregory bowed back and quickly hugged the creature "My name is Gregory or Greg for short whats your name" Just then star catched her and her creature having a conversation he went over and interupted it "umm hi star sorry i havent been talking to u much but today has been crazy" he looked over at her creature which was a angel like being "umm star he is very attractive" he smiles and blushes and goes back to his Centaur.

((Lmao! Greg! Lol... xd ...Oh...Corbin...Cosmo crashed into Ronin, incase you didn't notice...I edited that part in...heh. I could just tell you later when I see you with Sela...buuuut I figured I would just do it now. biggrin ))
Momo watched as the fire spirit appeared. She was happy that Kiyoko did not have to wait anymore. She waited till Kiyoko had introduced herself, and then she said to Aqua, "Hello Aqua, I'm Momo, and this is Lusia!" She happily introduced her self and her angel. "Kiyoko, I bet Mr. Fluffy will be happy to meet Aqua!" She said as she smiled at Kiyoko.

This explained why Aqua looked to be in a bad mood about the whole thing: apparently, her last master wasn't exactly very nice to her, let alone anyone else. Poor thing, she thought to herself. I'll make sure this experience is alot nicer for her.
Hearing that the lady could fly was exciting for her; after all, she enjoyed pretending to fly alot already. Imagine really flying! However, Kiyoko agreed with Momo's idea alot more for the time being. "Ooh, that's true! Oh, Mr. Fluffy's my kitty." explained the girl to her new friend. "He got in the tree somehow, but since it's a stuffed animal kitty, I dunno how he got the ability to walk on it's own....oh well." she shrugged. "I'm just glad you're ok. You worried me a bit, there." she said, giving her new friend a hug.

'oh.. it's a stuffed toy cat. that explains it. i think.' she looked down with considerable surprise as the little girl hugged her around the waist. "wha?" she asked, looking up at the two other people, with a look of utter confusion.

Syrith smiled. "Watch closely." He instructed.
The shadow behind his eye pulsed wildly with anticipation.
Yes, here is your payment. Syrith told it. He slowly reached for his eye patch, making sure the boy's attention was focused properly. Then, with a magician's flourish, he pulled the patch aside.
The Savage Eye lept wildly, gleefully snatching at the boy's face with greedy shadow claws. The hands fazed through the child's skin and grabbed at the back of his eyes to squeeze them painfully.
Enough. Syrith recalled the Eye to put it back safely behind the patch. Inwardly, the Eye chuckled, sated for the moment.
Syrith waited a moment to allow the pain to settle in. He then gently cupped the boy's chin in one hand, a pleasant smile tugging at the demon's lips.
"Theives will always recieve the pain of their victims three fold, boy. Remember this."
((I'll do Ayala's response later when Ronin does something. Or not. Whatever ^__^))

The boy was horrified, crying out in pain as the hands went through him to squeeze the back of his eyes. He backed away, staring at the scene around him. There were a few stares, and he looked back towards the magican. The patch was now back in place, completely normal looking like before. He gave Ben a murderous look; that stupid stuffed cat was the only thing that the man could have meant. Even the maids wouldn't asked for that. For some reason, he couldn't force himself to move at all. "What the heck is going on?" he said finally, although it wasn't heck he used, realizing that that couldn't been a magician's trick.
Seeing what just happened, Kiyoko was clutching to the fire spirit to a point where her little hands were pale, now with fear within her eyes. She looked like she was gonna cry, and she was really fighting back tears, although accidently letting out a scared whimper. It was obvious she had no idea why the man just did that. Maybe the boy insulted him. Or maybe he was faking it, a show itself for the others. She wasn't sure which it was. It was still scary, although he seemed fine just a moment ago.

Syrith remained where he was, still bent at the knees so the boy didn't have to strain to see his face. The demon's expression remained distantly friendly as he cocked his head to one side, as if the boy had done something he'd found interesting.
After a moment he drew himself into a standing position, hovering over the rest of the orphans and creatures at a formidable 6' 11". The pleasant mask dropped away, revealing a cold stare completely devoid of human emotion.
"You would do well to respect your fellow man, child, lest you wish to dine where the demons sleep." Syrith said lowly.
A grin crept across his face. It was as if he hadn't even spoken. "So play nice, okay?"
He turned his back to the boy. The grin abuptly disappeared at the look of undistilled terror on Kiyoko's face. He lifted a hand hesitantly, then let it drop against his side. Mutely, he took his place beside Ben, head hangng low with shame to have scared to the poor girl. He'd only wanted to help.

The boy backed away, no longer wanting the answer to this question. They were probably a bunch of freaks anyways, just trying to get him to owe up and apologize. Kinda stupid in his opinion, but saying that alound would probably get him killed by this guy. He quickly went out of the room, wanting nothing to do with the freaks in hte room...at the moment. But he noticed the man's plan backfire a tad, for he ended up scaring the victim more than the criminal. It was a priceless expression. He grinned a devilish grin at this thought as he went outside.
Kiyoko notice him look a bit sad after that, almost in a shame-like position. She slowly let go of her friend and walked over to Syrith. He seemed alot taller since he was now standing up; for her small height it was like looking up towards a window, or something tall. "You ok?" she asked him, looking a bit worried at the sudden change of mood. It was evident that even though she had no clue as to why he did that, there was some regret he was having. She hated seeing her friends sad, and this time it was probably her fault. She took his hand that was down (although she could barely reach it; she was on tiptoe) and gave him a warm smile.

"R...Ronin?!?! Cosmo loves Ronin!" Cosmo leaped up off the floor and embraced Ronin in a huge hug, almost knocking him to the floor, and then released him. "How've you been?"

Syrith smiled in return. Such innocence. He gently squeezed her hand and looked to her fire elemental with a small nod of acknowlegment. Unlike Lusia, he could almost briefly meeting Aqualos from before, but mostly because of her unusual name.
The smugness that radiated off the boy's retreating back was most irritating. Syrith considered sending the Eye after him again, but decided to wait for instruction from Ben. Watch for that boy, he sent to Aqua telepathically. He means nothing but trouble for both our charges.
"Let's go fetch Mr. Fluffy, little miss." Syrith said outloud to Kiyoko, looking down at the top of her head. It never ceased to amaze him how small humans were. "That is, with your permission, young master." He added too late to Ben. It would take some practise to get into the swing of being owned by someone again.
