How can that be when GranGran was engaged to Ozai's father (Azu...something. ^^; ) since she was seven? It wasn't even arranged, but then they had a lovers' quarrel and she moved to the south pole and they never forgave each other! That's why there's a war now.
Sozin and Roku used to be best friends.
