My band director, Mr. Early had a heart attack today. We don't know how he is. He's in the hospital... cry

Scheissenkopf chijinsan Scheissenkopf Im from Raleigh NC, in leesville road highschool symphonic band. Were the best highschool band i NC, and if any of u other ppl from NC wanna say otherwise, u try to tryout for midwest band clinic, get in, and get a 96 and 2 98s. oo and out cornet section picter is on the home page biggrin My bands siteWhoah. Raleigh... you live pretty close. Cool. I'm still in middle school. The band I'm in is pretty good, if you ignore the bad proportions of it. Three or four times as many flutes as there are trumpets. Wow >< thats a lot of flutes, well on the feild this year we have about 12 trumpets and 3 flutes and 3 pics >< and 8 trombones and 2 baritones My school only has a concert band... lessee... about 18 flutists are in it, I think, five or six trumpet players, one horn player (that would be moi), three trumbone players, one tuba player, six alto saxiphone players, about the same number of clarinet players as there are flutists, two base clarinet players, and five percussionists. That should give you a feel for our band. Wierd proportions, ain't they? Flaming_Shadow_Angel My band director, Mr. Early had a heart attack today. We don't know how he is. i live in south MS...anybody from around there...or plan to attend the "STATE" marching championships this year? {state? yea...when only about 1/3 of the state can attend, thats fair} curse you hurricane katrina!

Urrgghh... I live in South Georgia, about 30 minutes from the Florida Border. I play(ed) for the Lowndes High Georgia Bridgemen, of Lowndes High School. Bass clarinet (One of only 5 ;D) We have an enormous band compared to most others... around 350+ members. Last year we won the Peanut Festival Competition in Dothan Alalbama, and were invited to march in the 2005 Presidential Inaugeral Parade. This year we sadly lost or competition in Pasedina, but we're headed to California to March in the 2006 Rose Bowl Parade.
