Kasri Noireau ((Eeh... I don't really know the protocol, being a stupid n00b and all... but I'm going to have a go at posting here, and if anyone has a problem, just tell me to delete it and I'll take my pitiful n00bishness elswhere.)) Cordelie, ever since entering the site of the grand party, had kept to the shadows and tried to avoid people. Normally she wouldn't have come at all, but this grand celebration signified the end of avoiding humans and supers alike, hiding with her family of mixed talents (Two of her four younger siblings had powers, two were completely mundane) to escape the harsh extremism of both warring sides. It was the end of the war, and that was something special to everyone, from those who led the battles to those who just tried to survive through it. And when the Swiss hydrokinetic had heard about it, so close to the ruins where she had crafted a crude kind of refuge for her family, well... something as big as this was worth braving the crowds for. The unimportant super lingered in the shadows of a thick rose bush, clothed in a simple classical grecian style dress of aquamarine and turquoise, with an ocean blue mask covering her pale face. Cordelie had managed to salvage a few things from the ruins of some of the more expensive houses, the owners being long gone, and had found this dress in a wardrobe half buried by rubble. Seeing as she had such a strong connection with water (sometimes too strong, walking past a small lake could cause strange things to happen and in heavy rainstorms? She almost had to go outside with a snorkel) Cordelie chose to come to the masquerade as a napaea, or water nymph... Not that anyone would notice of course. She didn't know anyone, and wasn't the kind of girl that draws people's attention. She was there to just show, in her own little way, that she was just as happy that the war was over as any of the big players. ((Newbie, never n00b. We don't let n00bs in here. wink But I will tell you that most of us are American and not so good on the Metric measurements. Cordelie is 6'3" (six foot five inches) and 148 lbs (pounds). If you could put that in parenthesis in her profile, that would be awesome. ^_^ Thx.))
The neon angel, ignored by the person she'd been trying to talk to, walked off into the shadows under the trees. Her glowing costume lit up the whole area eerily, out of place and unnatural away from the concrete. The adolescent girl crossed her arms and slammed back against a wall scant feet from the water nymph, unable to see her past her own orange wisor and neon glow. She leaned against the wall and frowned at the crowd.

Mackie the Knife "Good enough to eat." He grinned at her, still holding her hand. "Is that so..." She grinned in silent mirth, but her eyes narrowed as she tried to remember what she would have done as the Purple Jinx. "Well! Too bad, Cat, I'm not for eating." But she didn't take her hand back, grinning with anticipation.

ArynChris Corellia stayed to dance on her own a little longer, not interested in the play, but already she had grown used to a companion. To be frank, she had forgotten that she had not always traveled with him.
"Celledor..?" A pale smile lingering on her face, Corellia wandered through the crowd looking for him, then around it. Actually finding him took her a little while.
She sat down on the ground beside him. "Be ye unwell?" He glanced down at her. "Not unwell, but... What happened to the exits? Doesn't it strike you as a bit odd that we're, y'know, stuck in here?"

Daypaw He glanced down at her. "Not unwell, but... What happened to the exits? Doesn't it strike you as a bit odd that we're, y'know, stuck in here?" "Hm..?" She looked around, then stood and turned all the way around, searching for the exits. By the time Corellia was facing him again, there was a deep crease in her brow and her jaw had a hard set. "So such is seen."
In the shadows, it grew even darker around Core as she drew her shimmering crystal sword...

He wasn't sure what her plan was, since drawing a weapon at a public event didn't strike him as wise to begin with. He chose to move out of her way and retreat to a distance where he didn't run the risk of being beheaded or stabbed.

He grinned again.

Thanks for that, I'm hopeless with the conversions) Cordelie turned when the bright flourescent colours of another guest's costume caught her eye. It was hard for it not to catch her eye, actually, the angel was almost blindingly luminous. Blinking a few times while her eyes adjusted to the new light level, the hydrokinetic smiled shyly at the other guest, though she got no reaction. Sighing, Cordelie returned to her former post of the party's official wallflower. That is, until the sprinkler directly next to her decided to go off. Shrieking a profanity in German, the woman sprinted away from the thousands of water droplets that wanted to get as close to her as they possibly could, narrowly avoiding crashing into the neon angel as she ran.

The neon angel grabbed her arm, almost falling down just from the woman's close approach. The mechanical wings messed up her balance.

Matty looked at the two struggling against the hedges of the maze. "Looks like you two could use a helping hand!" He called out to Verve and Sahira. His silver mask glinting and hiding the smirk on his face. His clothing was the color of a dark rose with a long cloak that seemed to float behind him as he approached them, and with a quick snap, some flames danced at his fingertips.
(Think Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon, but with a full mask on instead of just the eyes. blaugh Also, not sure if that little fire will cost a power point, so mod me if it does.)

"What--"(Yay! Nice to have you posting Kasri ^-^ If you have any questions let me know.) Ruby moved away from the burning armor guy when she caught sight of the blue grecian style dress. Being in a greek goddess outfit herself, she was thrilled. She ran over to the pair of them and grinned at Cordelie. "We're like sisters!" She looked up and up and up at the chocolate-haired water nymph. Ruby was on the short side of five feet. She was wearing a greek outfit, of white and gold, with her curly hair sprayed metalic gold to add to the effect. However the color was starting to wear thin in some places, Ruby's dark red hair starting to show through. Her southern accent was starting to peak out too, though she had hidden it earlier. "Heavens, sugar, I think you may be taller than my boyfriend. That must be kinda nice though, I'm so used to lookin' up, havin' to use a stool to reach things, an' I never ever get a good seat in the theater."
