He was sparring a dark, robed opponent, cloaked so as not to reveal his face. There were many like this, robed and performing certain duties for Shadowstep. Henchmen? Perhaps. "We need a member or two before my mercenary band can be truly effective, though all it does need is myself.", Shadowstep arrogantly added.

Grave sat there, strapped in the chair staring directly in front of him. The doctor, Rav Akin, had been performing surgery on his lower back. Supposedly, he had a joint that had locked itself and if it were fixed he would be able to run. This would be a great advantage, though truly flexible maneuvers, like jumping, would be a feat for him at this point.

Izieixie sat in her room in the castle, alone. She was thinking of how Ryuho had treated her like she was a child. Despite the fact that he was hundreds of years older than her, and she was young herself, she was not anything like a child. She very rarely acted immature, she was in the army; she knew how to kill, she was nothing like a child. Yet she thought that Ryuho would not stop treating her like one. Putting the matter behind her, Izieixie streched out her wings and started to soar around the high-ceilinged room, clearing her head.

"What seems to be the trouble now, Ryuho?" asked Jiro. "Well, I sent you that letter about my last job, well turns out that those guys I wasted were head representatives to the Order. In any case, I the hunter is becoming the hunted. Not just me, but anyone who has ties or comes close to me." said Ryuho. "I see you're situation master. What services can I provide you with?" asked Jiro. "Well, I'm not ready to take on the Order, nor do I think I'm strong enough to fight the knights. I ask you Jiro for protection for not just me, but everyone here, please." said Ryuho as he clasped his hands together asking his old friend for help. "You ask me for protection, master?" asked Jiro shocked. "Stop calling me that Jiro, I'm not you're master. I'm just you're friend. Now can you help me?" asked Ryuho again. "I can, but you won't like it." replied Jiro with a smile. "What's that supposed to mean?" asked Ryuho with a puzzled look on his face. "Well, let's just say I know someone in a high position and that someone owes me a favor and that he's an old friend and he is a leader of an organization." said Jiro as he trailed Ryuho on with his clues. "Its not what I think it is, is it?" said Ryuho with a look of just swallowing poison. "Yes the very same, Ryuho. The Zodiac Society is to where you will go next." said Jiro. Sighing deeply, "But they're no different then they were 300 years ago. I could never forgive them for what they did." said Ryuho with great loath. "It's true that they're history was dark back then, but they've changed things around since you're long absence, Ryuho. Akito is in charge now." said Jiro with a smile. "Akito?!" said Ryuho with great shock. "Indeed. I'll send me a message to let him know you're coming." said Jro as he readied to leave. "Hold on, Jiro. Not so fast. I'm here for they're war." said Ryuho as he stood up from his chair. "What chose do you have Ryuho? What chose do they have....in keeping you?" replied Jiro as he left the room, leaving Ryuho to go through his thoughts. "Sigh....I think I'll go to the library and think for a while." thought Ryuho as he left his room and to the huge library across the way to find Kitsuna there reading one of his books. Smiling, "You find the books to you're liking, Kitsuna?" he asked

Shadow came across another wondering soul out side in the darkness, it seemed to be crying " What's wrong with you?" she questioned as she placed her hand on its shoulder turning it from an invisable beaying into something with a little amount of life so that it could speek its riddles. " I be in paine, I be alone, I just won't to be where light grows.." The frail being spoke with a weak decaying voice." Shadow looked abck at the palace,"hmm" she grunted as she offered her hand to the darkness" come" she said as she picked the woman up from the floor" I'll take you to some light and listan to your trubles too see if I can help with your last requests" she spoke softly as she took her back into the palace" Shiled your eyes for now this light is to bright" she muttered as she covered the woman in a little bit of her darkness. She took her to up past the libray and back to her dorm, she left her door open so that the woman felt more at easy" Please sit" she smiled a little as she closed the window over to allow the woman to get some warmth.

Kitsuna sighed and looked out the window. "Yes I have alot of question. Most of them I probably know the answer to but can't believe it and some is probably not my business but I'll ask anyway. She turned to face him. " I know you're not the age you say or what people believe. I want to know are you a god ryuho and why do you hate the zodiac society. I can tell you hate them by how you speak to that soldier. I won't read your mind for the answer. This place is so old and the other place you brought me was too, only someone who is a god or an ancient could know these places so well." she whispered

Kitsuna sat back and thought. "not much really." she sighed." I know they're a group of gods, half-breeds, angels, and and any other being who disagrees with the order's plans. No one knows if they're good or evil or if their plan is one for freedom or revenge."

"Sorry ryuho, I don't know much about their past history." said kitsuna
