Kuragari looked back at the dragon that was splashing around in the pool. 'Oh great he's drowning.' Sighing Kuragari got up and in a few leaps landed next to the pool. Looking into the water Kuragari realized how much she really didn't want to do this and how much trouble she probably was going to be in for leaving class, but dived in anyways.

Swimming to the bottom of the pool Kuragari grabbed the boy who's name she couldn't remeber and dragged him to the surface. throwing him out of the pool Kuragari slowly pulled her self out making sure she didn't lose her hood.

Going over to the boys body she started checking to see if he was alive or not.

acarian was barely concious when he felt someone pulling him out of the water. as he hit the hard tile around the pool, he coughed up some water and looked at his savior. "heh, it seems that i still attract vampires. he-," he laughed fainting.

Getting really annoyed Kuragari called to the closest teacher, "yo I'm gaonna take him to the nurse then go get changed." The teacher nodded and Kuragari pulled the drgon boy into her atms and up to the nurses office.

Along the way a few people in thehalls gave her bad looks, 'oh great now there all going to thing I attacked him.' Reaching the nurses office Kuragari dropped him onto one of the beds, "he almost drowned so, I'm going to go change."

"Wait a minute miss." The nurse called out stopping Kuragari from leaving. "Please tell me your name and his."

Looking back she said, "I'm Kuragari and I think his name was Acrian, Acarin, or something like that. I don't really know him, now can I go change?"

"Of course dear go ahead." Kuragari headed out and to her room.

((Eh- busterman and kurimson, perhaps you should slow down... or should've slown down and waited for surf-dude to get to his class, so the timeflow would be relatively even, give or take a few minutes?))

Kuragari left her room with new dry close and ran back to her archery class. As she rushed in the teacher gave her a bad look for distrubing his class. "Sorry sir," walking to the back of the room Kuragari took her seat and listened to the teachers lecture.

((Uh, wow...now I really miss the seven+ hours of AP homework that took over all my time this week... Yeah, thanks a whole lot for waiting...and, Buster, showing weakness is good, but doing what you did and making a big scene is not showing weakness--especially if said "weakness" is conquered in one post. Instead of what you did -don't change it, mind you...it's fine; this is just for next time- why not say that he is bad at studying, or can't talk to girls...or dealing more with his powers, how about he doesn't have control over them, or that they tire him out a lot when he uses them. Just...for next time.

Also, my intro post is not, per se, to start the next class, but to indicate that the previous one is over, and give a brief intro on the teacher and what's going to be covered, seeing as they're NPCs. As such, after I make said intro post, you can spend as long as you like between classes, as long as you get to class))

Asako smiled with renewed relief as Anne spoke. "Yeah, I guess you were right!" she said, ears perking up again, tail relaxing. Then, realizing just how late it was, she jerked, then bolted. "Bye! I'll see you later!"
With a backward glance, she saw the boy Anne had been looking at, and made a mental note to find him later.

Getting to class was easy; the halls were by now empty, and she ran through them at top speed. It was only once she arrived, standing in front of the door, with her manicured hand on the knob, that she thought of exactly what the teacher would say to her being so late. Oh, crap~, she thought. Well... she took her hand of the door and started backing away. I might as well just--

Before the word 'skip' could enter her thoughts, the door opened and a tall woman looked disapprovingly at Asako. "Uh...hi?" Asako said, feeling sweat trickle down her back. Today is just not my day...

Entering the class, Asako lifted her head up proudly, showing that she didn't care that she was late; she would've skipped if the teacher hadn't caught her. After listening to a lecture from Ms. Delacroix, Asako took her place, she pulled her two sai from her messenger bag, and listening to the teacher. Even though she would have preferred to skip (today just didn't seem like a good day for school) this was actually something she wanted to learn.

Mr. Brown ended the lecture very nicely and punctually. As his last words reverberated through its medium the bell sounded clearly. A steady flow formed aimed right for the door and the scratching of chairs were heard against the tile floor.

Jake stood up and stepped into the isle and let himself be carried by his classmates towards the halls. He crossed the door frame into the hallway when the voice of Anko probed through his cerebrum, Weren't you going to stay behind for that Ms. Nakajima?

The young man stopped abruptly, pulling himself from the torrent and planting himself next to the door. When all the students from Jake's Languages of Faerie class had all merged into the channels of the school, Jake peered into the class. "Ms. Nakajima" stood at the front of the room conversing with the teacher. Out of his peripheral vision, Jake could see another girl waiting - she had very long, brown hair that seemed to flow all the way down her back. Jake couldn't see her face and was about to walk in to intervene when he felt a familiar tug.

Damn! Silently cursing, Jake was yanked from his own body and transported to - for all he knew - another time and place.

A small boy was tearing branches out of his way and proceeding down a faintly visible path. He looked to be about ten years of age and had short, brown, scraggly hair. Thorns and dirt clung to his clothes. As the boy reached an odd tree that looked like a giant bell, he veered to the left and ventured further through the dense forest.

The boy suspiciously turned around and stood still for half a minute listening for any sound; he heard none and quietly felt the base of a nearby tree trunk with his foot. His foot fell right through the bark followed by his leg, arm, body, head, arm, leg, foot. The boy now stood on the inside of a massive tree with smooth stone for ground.

He shook his head violently with his eyes screwed shut as if trying to extricate a bad memory from his head. Slowly his features began to slide off of his face and body. The brown hair fell to the side as two silky chocolate-brown ears emerged. A tail materialized out of mid-air in a "flame-catching-newspaper" action starting at the tip and running down to the kitsune's rear.

Now looking more feline, and less like a timid ten year old boy, the kitsune stood in an athletic stance with his pawed hands staggered in front of his body. With cat-like reflexes the boy's eyes darted to the place where Jake's invisible spirit "stood."

As if on cue Jake felt himself hurtling through the air. Blinding colors swirling around as he returned to his body. He heard the patter of steps near him and feminine voices. One set of footsteps ran in one direction and the other in the other direction. Shaking his head, Jake fully regained all of his senses. He locked eyes with the kitsune just as she turned and dashed around the corner.

When she rounded the bend, the boy seemed to regain his senses and faintly recalled hearing, "I don't wanna be late! ((It was Anne by the way biggrin )) Without even knowing if he was going in the correct direction, Jake sprinted in the opposite direction that Asako had gone trying desperately to extract where the Magic room was from his memories of wandering the school spiritually in the early light.

Jake threw a random door open and came to an abrupt stop as Mrs. Morningstar glared expectantly at Jake for an explanation as to why he had interrupted her class. Jake panted a few real deep breaths and came out with, "Sorry, I had to stay after Languages--"

She suddenly cut the ruler through the air pointing to an open seat; she said nothing and didn't recognize his presence any more than she needed. Jake stalked over to the open seat in the second row and took the chair gratefully.

You fibbed... Came the dark, shadowy voice.

Shut it, you would've done it too!

((Just saying, if you find anything in my posts that are incorrect, whether it be grammar {which I try to correct all of} or even making your character do something that they didn't really do, just tell me))

Aqua walked into the archery class, and cursed when she heard that they'd only be learning about the history of the bow and arrow. she cursed in demonic, so it was impossible to hear or understand unless you were a demon or other dark creature. she sat in a seat, got a a notepad and pencil, and absent-mindedly chewed on the end of it.

"Settle down, class!" Mrs. Morningstar's voice was rash and strict, and the students grudgingly returned to their places.
Sitting down, Anne noticed the guy from before on the row behind hers. Blushing a bit, she smiled at him, giving him a small wave.
"So we share at least two classes...that's good, I really need to meet new people!"
But soon she was forced to focus again on the lecture, as well as the rest of the class. All that was heard was the sound of the scribbling and the teacher's voice.

((I want to make a little...interaction? with the teacher, after the Red Coven Rules, if you'll let me. But I don't want to speed up the class any more, time paradoxes are already problematic, just, please, give me a window for that when time comes. thanks.))

acarian woke up soon after the vampire left and saw the nurse rushing over to him.
"you shouldn't get up! you fell 2 stories!" she exclaimed.
"well, i fell into a pool of water. im fine and going back to class." acarain stated, walking out of the room. "who was the girl that saved me?" acarian thought. "i mean, i could tell she was a vampire by her sent, but..... well, i probally will see her again," acarian thought, reaching the door. he came in the room and sat in his seat like nothing had happened. he glanced over and spotted he had sat down next to the brown haired girl. he blushed and looked strait ahead.

if this post is to early, just tell me to delete it, and i will be more than happy to post it up later)

((Selphie, anytime later tonight or tomorrow would be fine, seeing as how classes are drawing to a close anyway. Best case I'll have the next intro post up late Saturday night--worst, Sunday night. Anytime from then until now would be okay with me. If anyone has a problem with that, tell me. But you're good to go for me.))

Tristelle jumped at the unexpected sound of the ruler against Rhm's desk. Seeing as it was floating, her eyes instinctively flew to the front of the room. She nodded, as if the teacher had been yelling at her, feeling equally guilty.

Hearing a thud, Tristelle turned her head to see Acarian fall to the ground, then shortly after, fly out the window. She shot a glance at the teacher, debating on whether or not to go after him, but at the same time, was believed he was gone. His scent had been to strong in the crowded, warm classroom. Whatever it was, she doubted she could be of any assistance anyway.

The vampire sighed, and reluctantly opened her notebook, rapidly copying from the board, jotting down notes here and there of important things the teacher said. She looked up a few minutes later, to see that almost the entire class had been filled. The smell of humans was strong, but none were nearly as appealing as Acarian's. She felt an involuntary shiver run down her spine, before shaking her head and looking back down to her notebook, only for her head to snap towards the door the instant he walked back into the room. She brought her hand up and tightly gripped the edge of her desk, as if both a physical, and emotional anchor. She shook her head again, and went back to work.

Anne was so focused taking notes she didn't even notice the boy entering the room, and was startled at the sound of the chair next to hers moving. "Oh, it's just a boy" She thought, relieved, wondering why did he enter the class like that. Mrs. Morningstar chose to ignore him.
"These are the rules of Magic; you must all know them by heart, and believe me, I'll make sure you do. I'll give you surprise quizzes about them randomly, so beware. Recite them every night before you go to bed, every morning as you wake up, every time you even think of doing Magic." The teacher paced around the front of the class, eyeing them cooly "Only after you know each of these rules like the back of your hand will you be considered a wizard. I see many of you aspire at that title. A wizard has many tools, one of them, probably the most useful, the ability to create a Familiar. I see many of you have Familiars, can you raise your hand if you have one?"
All around the classroom people raised their hands, and Anne started to feel nervous. She sensed the teacher's eyes upon her and braced herself.
"You there, why did you not raise your hand? Is that cat of yours not a Familiar? He's magical, I can sense that."
"Here we go..."Anne thought, cursing herself for sitting in the front row.
"No, ma'am, he's not a Familiar. Or at least not my Familiar." Anne tried to look at the professor's eyes, but it was hard "He was...given to me, as a kitten. His powers have been growing ever since." Not knowing the foundations of her cat's powers herself, and knowing the one who had given him to her, Anne was preoccupied at the teacher's interest.

"Given to you, is that right?" Mrs. Morningstar approached the cat, who was sitting tall and proud on the desk "Yes, yes...I see...He's a Companion!"
And suddenly she adressed the whole class. "A Companion is a very special and rare kind of Familiar. As you may or may not know, a Familiar is a projection of yourself, of your magic and of your soul, into a creature that becomes it own self. It is more often than not a involuntary creation.
The creation of a Companion, on the other hand, requires great skill and power. It involves not only voluntarially projecting your mind, heart, soul and magic on a scale great enough to create a living, independent being, but also severing the ties such being has to you, and giving it a connection with someone else - someone you care deeply about, or it wouldn't work: it's giving a bit of yourself to other person.
The Companion then works as exactly that - a company, a support and a protector to the one you gave it to. They are a projection of their creator, and will mirror his personality. They're intelligent, and they have their own magic, just like Familiars. They do not, however, communicate mentally to the person they're linked with. But they will protect that person with their lives. Tell me, girl, when you're endangered, does your cat assume other form?"

"He...he turns to a panther, Ma'am." Anne was blushing, between embarassement and amazement at that information.
"Yes, that is common. Now, if you may, take some notes about the creation and utility of a Familiar..."
Suddenly the class was filled with the sound of writting again. Anne tried to focus, but she had stopped listening o the teacher's voice. A Companion...that explained so much! Seeing the smudge look on Cassio's face, she sighed "I get the feeling you chose this place on purpose..." She whispered under her breath, trying hard to keep the tears from falling as memorie flooded her mind.

((Sorry for the lenght. And yes, I made Companions up. Sorry also if I took more time than I should have, I was away for the weekend and forgot to warn you guys... sweatdrop And I re-read it twice, but if there are typos or small mistakes, forgive me, it's really late and I'm exausted.))

he heard the teacher ask the class something about familiars, and then point out the girl next to him. "a panther eh? sounds dangerous." he thought to himself. "hey teacher, what would you call a voice inside you that has some control over you, but doesn't take a form??
"thats an exellent question. can anyone anwser that?" she asked the class.

(i have no idea. someone help!)

Ms. Morningstar called for order and immediately resumed her lecture and writing on the board. Jake rolled his eyes as he bent over out of his chair and rummaged through his backpack for a blank notebook. Finally finding one, his body repositioned into a sitting posture. The purple eyes darted to the front of the room to scan over the words written when they fell upon a kindly face in the front row.

The girl had tanned skin and big chocolate-colored brown eyes. Her wavy, brown hair seemed somewhat familiar. She gave a smile that looked somewhat nervous and a small hand twitch which Jake took to be a wave. He thought he saw here checks turn a little red as he smiled back and she turned around.

In case you were wondering, that's the girl that was with Ms. Nakajima from last class... Anko was lying down in the isle looking rather bored with his head resting on his paws and his eyelids drooping ever so slightly.

Jake had been so absorbed in note taking and listening to the teachers sharp voice that he didn't realize his roommate enter the room and take a seat in the front of the class.

As Ms. Morningstar started talking about the rules of magic and how important they were, Jake abandoned writing and directed his full attention to listening. She smoothly changed topics from the rules to that of Familiars.

"I see many of you have Familiars, can you raise your hand if you have one?"

Jake tentatively raised his hand, eyes probing the room for other hands floating in the air. He saw some pretty interesting familiars around the room: such as a snake, a baby chicken and even a tucan!

The teacher locked eyes with the girl from before, she had a black cat sitting rigidly on her desk, almost like a statue.

"You there, why did you not raise your hand? Is that cat of yours not a Familiar? He's magical, I can sense that."

Anne's voice came slowly and seemed to hold a slight tinge of pain, "No, ma'am, he's not a Familiar. Or at least not my Familiar. He was...given to me, as a kitten. His powers have been growing ever since."

The teacher than mentioned a word, that Jake hadn't heard before, it was "Companion."

Ms. Morningstar continued on about a topic known as Comapnions, or Familiars that had been broken off and given to somebody that the true owner had cared for. The teacher lectured on how and why Familiars took certain forms. Also she said how a Companion would transform when its new owner was threatened. Her next question was directed to the girl, "Tell me, girl, when you're endangered, does your cat assume other form?"

"He...he turns to a panther, Ma'am."

A panther?! That cat turns into a panther?! But...but that's impossible!

Anko had lifted his head to stare at his friend, Nothing is impossible. The nature and magic of Companions are so strong of a bonds that the enchantments around the detached Familiar cause it to change.

Just as soon as the teacher had interacted with one of her students, she continued talking to the class in general about Familiars in general.

((It's late and I'll interact about Acarian as soon as I can, but I have to go to bed now...))
